This was awesome and very informative. I think I need to make a list of all the additional things that are needed to keep my bird on the road just in case! You said in another video you had a laminated sheet with some information on it that you would tell us about. That maybe later but this was great to see how to dis connect and everything because I am getting my bird back on Monday! Had issues with the fuel line and it took over 8 months to fix. Well we look forward to seeing more soon!

Thank you for the reminder to get back to that placard (might have slipped our minds…. But that’s why we have the placard 😜)

My buddy and I stayed there twice, once in 2010 and again in 2017. The rooms were spotless and comfy. I highly recommend the Seward Resort to anyone looking for a great stay in Alaska.

IKR?? It’s be a value anywhere, but a downright bargain for being in Seward, Alaska! And yes, staff is beyond awesome too!! Sure hope they can open up the bar & restaurant to their former glory next year ❤️

Driving away with the air step still out has become one of our traditions

😂 We wondered who’d catch that! We actually leave it out until we’re ready to leave the campground because the limiter switch spring is temperamental & likes to leave the extension solenoid energized (one of many, many things on our to-do list). Thanks for paying attention 😜

Last year we stayed at Buckley. The water pressure blew a hose out in the basement. Had to fix that and got a fixed second pressure reg. LX has a cable /phone input. Funny how they stayed with Zip Dee awnings. Yours is short lol. Need a rod for ours. Nice logo

Thanks Chris! Honestly, I’m not in love with the Zip Dee awnings, but they’ve got such a loyal following & still in business so even when we get to replacing the fabric we’ll stick with them. 😎

@@Buoy4AK I want to get the kit that turns the bars upside down. Says it easier to put up and take down

I remember going there on R&R in 1978 with my buds from 56 MP Co Ft Richardson. AK

It’s been downsized a bit since then, but is still awesome!

Thanks. We were there just last week…missed you!! Like park but cable does not work and no sewer. There is a dump just across the street.

Thanks for clarifying about the cable 😎. If you ever see us out there, come on over and say hi! 👋

Another excellent video. My wife and I were waiting for climax of the video. That is where you were breaking camp and would drain the black and grey water. Do you have to lay on your back to get to the valves? What gloves do you use… nope you did not cover the big poop dump. I am only half kidding. We did want to see your procedure. Maybe in a future video?
You did an excellent job with the Mavic Air IIS tracking video.
Your awning tip was helpful. Keep up the great work!!

Thank you! We actually didn’t do a honey bucket drain to avoid duplication (check out th-cam.com/video/3Tm2SLj7lCA/w-d-xo.html 😎). Ours is a rear bath, so the valves are super easy to reach. We do plan to remove that silly keyed lock from the water access door someday though (for someone from Kodiak Island, even taking the keys out of the ignition is a stretch). Thanks for watching, & the positive feedback (it’s really the only thing that keeps us going on the videos since they don’t generate any actual $$).

Love the sound of that diesel engine. Could you let it run in the background more when you're traveling. The landscapes are eye popping. Thank you.

We do too! The exhaust is pretty large @ 4”, straight piped with no muffler. In person, sounds beefy 😉
