Craig just love your “extremest” nature. My son is an extremest, just did a triathlon at 63, climbs frozen cliffs, bungee jumps, from bridges etc. His life scripture is Isaiah 41:10. Traveling mercies 🙏🏻❤️

The public use cabins are very nice !! Usually there is wood ready for you they are totally dry so they have out house and no running water . There are so many of them a lot of them most are free . So there is a small fee like 25.00 35.00 dollars a night . There are a lot of them by lakes .

We stayed in that Cabela's for a week in 2016 while we were waiting for our trailer suspension to get repaired. Yes, we broke our suspension in Destruction Bay, LOL! We never had a problem at Cabela's, and thanked the manager when we left. BTW, the very best trailer repair place in all of Alaska is Trailercraft, which is right up the street from where you were. They also have a shop in Fairbanks. Don't go anywhere else if you have a problem with your rig.

In 2019 when we did Alaska, sadly, it was known not to stay in anchorage due to sketchy people and thefts in overnight spots and some rv parks. We stayed in a the state park North on there and did day trips into Anchorage.

Homer Alaska was our only sketchy campsite and it was the Municipal Campground on the spit, two kids ( young men) stole gas cans and fishing equipment from a boat while the owner watched and called the police then they came over to our campsites (there were 3 of us side by side) looking for something to steal just as the police arrived. The fisherman walked over to greet the cops while the kids were trying to make up a story as to why they were there. It was quite entertaining, handcuffed and into the back of the cop car and tow truck to take there vehicle. FYI We didn't have many Mosquitos on our trip for whatever reason ....we had bought a screen tent just for the trip but never used it.

I’m sorry to hear about the thieving teenagers, but it’s a pretty common “sport” for local teens to steal coolers or their contents, gas cans, and anything else outside RV’s and trailered boats. There must be a better way to get the word out to visitors, especially since the lack of darkness lulls people into feeling less vulnerable.

Hi we had a problem camping there as well, first night we pulled in along the outside fence of the campground in the street of Sewart, no body minded . On a day the soldiers had an annual run up the bighill. Then across a little bay looking back across to Seward o n July 4th a big day in the USA. Watched the fireworks. There's not a lot of room anywhere. So if you get parked Stay there and do by truck. I bet since we were there it grown a lot. Get parked and have fun.

Are you crazy?? Crunchy peanut butter all the way!! Those a@@hats in the parking lot are the reason soooo many stores have stopped allowing overnight parking! As a recently retired gang task force officer, I always love preying on the wolves. Chasing out sh!threads is a fun hobby :^) Funny story, I was at a really nice casino in the foothills of N. Hellifornia for a 3 day training with 100 gang officers. I had to go out to my ride for something and saw doper rv in the basically empty parking lot. As I walked passed it I smelled a cooking method lab. Got to my ride and called my buddy at our narc task force. They got there in 30ish minutes (big county) and got them out. I walked up and asked the 3 idiots if they didn’t see the 60 or so undercover police vehicles in the basically empty parking lot. That rv you filmed has probable cause all over it to ask for license and look for a legal way in considering the traffic you described all night. Always support the store of the lot you’re staying in. Cabelas has a ton of mosquito gear to wear, absolutely worth every penny!

Well I think there is a city ordinance against raining on the Fourth of July in the city of Seward. If you’re going out on a boat, it’s all up. All options are out. It could be any kind of weather and yes, all the crazies get out on the Fourth of July. I don’t know why they seem to do that, I hope your trip is good. You should go down the peninsula and see what you can see. There’s lots of neat things to do there too but on the Fourth of July, there’s lots of things to do.

Quick tip kids, I noticed to go to hitch height on your control panel you scroll to hitch height and then hit enter. You can also just hit the left and right arrows at the same time on the controller for hitch height. Just saves a few button pushes.
Craig - I am so with you on not understanding the people that come flying by us on crazy bumpy roads just destroying their RV. Toni and I have a saying for when we are slowing down for bad road conditions and people are backing up behind us. "Go around, I'm not destroying my house for you!!" Oh and gutsy move putting the drone through the masts on the catamaran!!
Victoria - As much as we love you kids I'm starting to have second thoughts after you started spreading CREAMY peanut butter on a sandwich. Y'all that's sacrilege to use creamy!!!!
Beautiful hike on the ice field. Y'all are nuts!!!

Stayed at Skagway the day after 4th of July holiday and they said that the streets were lined with people camping because only a couple campgrounds there so people just camped wherever they could find a spot.

It’s so crazy how short the summer is here but we are glad to get to experience the little bit of it! The scenery is really just so crazy, haven’t seen anything like it before. Thank you for watching!

Well here in Anchorage the Homeless population is really Bad, so that’s why it’s hard to find an RV dump in town, all the trouble people will “camp” for weeks , so Anchorage has been less than welcoming for RVs and Travel Trailer, and another tip don’t head to Seward Alaska on 4th of July, definitely have to reserve spots in Seward right when they open online reservations 😉 but a ton of camping before for Large Travel Trailers! We have spots rented one weekend every month!
