Unfortunately, I wasn't working backstage at that show, I didn't get close to them. So I don't know how they would have been.
3 of my friends actually went to the concert and found me, hoping I could get them backstage. They thought if they could get backstage, they could hook up with the girls.
I wasn't in a position to do that, wouldn't have done it if I could, and they wouldn't have had a chance with the band.

A tour bus carrying the Bangles stopped for gas in my home town when I was probably 12 or 13. I was getting a pack of Twizzlers staring at Suzanna Hoffs when Micki Steele patted me on the head. There’s my brush with rock n roll fame.

    • @chrisacer6605

They didn't actually own the 80s, they weren't around long enough. They had, what, two albums while they were at their commercial peak? It's too bad they couldn't get along because they probably would have been a first tier act for another 5+ years. But when they broke up it automatically relegated them to the nostalgia circuit.

So good to see Annette back with the girls. She missed out the first time around when they shot to fame, but now she gets the chance to do it all again. I'm sure she enjoyed it.

Suzanna Hoffs if i remember her name correct aged beautiful . We all get older and looking at the old pics/vids of us or others are many times reminders of how pretty/goodlooking we all were , some do defend the time very nice , she is one , still very very beautiful woman ... btw great music they made ...

You would appreciate them even more now, after all these year when most people forgot about them or didn't take them seriously as a live band. I am one of those people and glad I was wrong... :) Maybe because they were marketed as a sexy band, like most female bands and artists nowadays, but they proved they can play.

It is nice they finally stabzlized the bass player since Steele left. Now they are back with Annette Zilinskas who started with the band before Michael "Micki" Steele. Annette has been playing with them since 2018 and even though she does not sing, her bass playing is on point.
