And by the way, I never said this version was "more" elegant or classy than the original. I just said that it was elegant and classy, and I stand by that.
If someone told me in 1987 that I would be watching and enjoying Susanna Hoffs in 2022, I wouldn't have believed it. In 1987 I saw band with good looking women, but nothing really beyond that. Today I see Susanna as a beautiful and ageless woman, with talent that I did not appreciate before. She has a beautiful voice that comes out better now than when it was masked the Bangles. Shout out to Susanna. She also seems nice and humble. Unlike so many rock stars
I can remember listening to Manic Monday in 1986. I was going to Wilfrid Laurier University and walking up Hazel Street to my apartment, listening to the Bangles on my Sony Walkman. I had just finished a rugby practice. The sun was shining and all seemed right with the world. It is one of the those moments, for whatever reason, you remember.
What possible negative comment can you say about this iconic singer. She is so talented and gorgeous. It’s a joy to listen to her and watch her fricking passion for entertaining. Thanks for sharing this.

Very talented woman. The Bangles, a very talented group of female musicians and vocalists with a very unique sound. I enjoy their vocal harmonies very much. Going Down To Liverpool, Manic Monday, etc shows off the talent of Suzzana and her bandmates.
There are some singers whom no matter how often you hear their songs on the radio and such you never get tired of listening to them, for me that is Melancamp, Meatloaf, Blondie, Springsteen and the stellar Susanna Hoffs (and the Bangles).
