@@nearLucid IMO when using mist filters/ cinebloom its best used for highlights instead of the whole shot so you still get clarity while still getting that hazy effect. In a sense its similar to when you get a lens flar, you dont want it blinding you but you still want that little touch
Wobkey did make some decisions that didn't make many of us in the KS too happy but the overall keyboard I received has been fantastic (PP / HMX). The only thing with the Rainy is the flex is a little odd due to the flex cut PCB. I don't have this one yet but do have the new Evo 80 (FR4 / HMX Azure) from QwertyKeys / Neo / Owl Lab and it's the best pre-built I've ever used/reviewed - it's has the ball latch as well. Love the fact that they included a case this time though with the USB storage on this Crush 80. I may have to pick this up to do a comparison. It's amazing how standard this has become since the Jaris with the magnet connectors etc... no matter how careful I am I pull that dang ribbon cable to my know/light on my Jaris. If you haven't tried the Evo 80 you definitely need to check it out, especially if you are a QK fan. I just reviews for some retailers but plan to do video reviews rather than guitar stuff at some point. Great review on this, you have definitely peaked my interest on it!
I like the look and appreciate the artistic choices you went for here. I think for product reviews tho its a bit too hazy. For b roll and aesthetic shots I see no problem, but during more practical points like the unboxing or showcasing, it might be better to tone down the effects and bring it more true-to-life.
I like the design and the aesthetic of the editing. Can i request that when it comes to showcasing the sound of the keyboard, there will be no sound edits like some old vintage cassette? The sounds of the keyboard is superb but i thought those weird sounds came from the keyboard for a sec haha.
Being honest, the other format was better for an efficient focus on the keyboard. This has too much going on between different filters and camera changes. Main thing is that the other format was efficient and to the point. Something we came to love about your reviews.
Would you prefer evo 80 to this, in both foam/foamless, what about the flex difference and finish? Or any other details that i didn't notice? (Or neo80 still better?)
i really like the change of style and really liked the 4:3 aspect ratio on certain shots personally i think it switched between cameras too often during the unboxing and throughout the video but its very nice
the soundtest at the end is a bit scuffed with the old tape noises and all that over the top. cool pacing etc. to the video but this really detracts from it
nice change of a style, however i stilll think that the main camera is a bit toooo cloudy
Noted! Still figuring out the visual aesthetic.
Bruh I thought it was my contacts for a sec

@@nearLucid def not the pixar dreamy filter please. Looks way too cloudy
I really like it! Makes his videos stand out more!

the video is a little bit blurry, but it doesn't take away how informative it is
This whole video feels like im in a dream

Love the new videoformat, but not a fan of the filter/glow thing being used. Makes the entire video look more blurry than good.
I really like this style of video. Much improved

Nail the focus issues and this channel has STYLE.
evo80 seems better tbh
both aint worth it, I understand in the crush but WHY did they put a 1.2 flex cut pcb like why
I love my Evo 80. Sooo good
You have some weird audio playing over the sound section
Which is better? Crush 80 or evo80?
Would you prefer evo 80 to this, in both foam/foamless, what about the flex difference and finish? Or any other details that i didn't notice? (Or neo80 still better?)
Would you say this board is better value than the evo80?
Yeah I’m trying to find which is better
Loving the new style, keep it up!
Great video and editing style. But I'm stuck between the Crush 80 and Evo80. How does those 2 compare?

What's the front case height and the angle?
Hi lucid would liek to check which would be a better buy interms of sound ? crush80 or the evo80
really? better than evo80?
based on research and various reviews over the past couple weeks, I don't think so
I was so so close to hitting that purchase button for the Rainy75 since it's a Prime Day special. Thank heavens I saw this.
I like the side view camera in between the main camera.
How did you get the video so dreamy?
Pls review the mchose gx87
Is that a cutting mat under the keyboard?
No
turn down the glow and mist a little bit, the new film emulation style is great direction overall but it's over-powering
Lol.. I wouldn't miss the galvanized scene.
The depth-of-field is a bit too shallow, and it make much of the scene out of focus. Maybe use f/2.8 to f/4.0.
Never thought I’d see “$160” and “budget” next to each other. 😅
Welcome to mechanical keyboards 😂
It's budget when you compare it to other mechanical keyboards. You can easily spend several hundred dollars on just the case.
and its ass even in that regard
Crush 80 is 100$ in taobao !!
Wish it included a foamless sound test.
Interesting new filming style
bruh this dreamy filter you have on here is actual dogwater.
qk75? its qk80!!!!!
Typing this on my Crush80, I think this board crushes it! #punintended

Inconsistent posting causes algorithms to change, unfortunately.
Oh I don't like full CNC's as they weight a lot and sound LOUD. All this is for no reason.
That’s literally the point
mid
