He felt like he was throwing his life away with speedrunning. AGDQ donates yearly to the prevent cancer foundation, and his mom was dying of cancer. He felt like everything speedrunning represented in his life was a waste, including AGDQ. I judged him before, but the complete story really changes the context of his comments. His ranting was rooted in something much darker and more painful than just speedrunning.

as a speedrunner I can tell some take this very seriously if go for WR's but still one big thing always is to control your temper as much as possible, specially if livestream it because if slip accidently even one bad word or say wrong things, that can ruin reputation. If can keep somewhat cool head when mistake happens, its better.
