That first piano sound is pretty good for an instrument that costs less than $300! It's even more impressive you have 76 keys to work with. And the "super articulation" on some of those non-piano sounds is cool, too.
Thanks gentlemen, I just bought this keyboard a week ago brand new ,I'm so glad learn more about this instrument, now I live in Lewiston Maine j I used to have classes with Mr JC Edward down there in San Antonio, TX,have no news from him plse say hi to him. Thanks elot gents!!
Just found this at Sam’s Club for $229. Good keyboard for my 8 & 6 year olds to learn on until they need something more serious. Thank you for this great review!!!
Alamo music 🎶 is an amazing and unique music store. I personally had a fantastic experience buying a couple of digital pianos and Patrick was key in making that happen for me.
Great video!! I have been reviewing various types of keyboards and ran across the Yamaha PSR-EW310 and to tell you the truth, it is priced so low that I assumed that it was like some of the Chinese knockoffs. Your video helped me make a decision on whether it was worth the low price or not. Thanks a lot I appreciate it.
Great keyboard for sure. I wonder why they don't put all the control buttons on the left side..so you don't have to reach across? Seems most keyboards do that, not just this one.
Hey, my Yamaha PSR-EW310 takes a few seconds to turn itself on - to be able to play it. While my older PSR-E363 was faster. So I am wondering if you have experienced something similar?
OMFG! How do I play back the recorded thingies after I bang on the keys in a nifty pattern? I forgotted the setting I was on and the ways I banged the keys together. FML this music industry is cut throat!
If someone were going to start piano lessons, how long would something like this be useful before the absence of piano-like action would truly be a significant problem (recognizing that there will be a transition period when switching to a weighted action regardless and that's acceptable)?
I'd say about a year. It's always best to learn with a digital piano or a real piano of course, but if that's not possible, an entry keyboard should give you enough to last for a year or a bit more
Depends on the player and music style. If you are serious about playing piano then a soft touch keyboard is not a good start at all. The feel is different and all functions and sounds can be distracting from actual playing. But the new PSR-EW310 with 76 keys is still better feel in stiffness then previous models and the piano sound is great so it can work as a serious piano for a long time.
Is a good video but how can you show us each sound without telling us which you've selected??? PLEASE mention in script on the video or create chapters and label them accordingly?

My kiddo is 15 and wanting a keyboard to practice late in the evening. We have a piano but can’t play late night. He’s been playing for about 5 years and is play at level 5. What would be a good keyboard for this situation? Thanks
To everyone who are planning to buy EW 425 or E 473....I had purchased the keyboard a week back. I was using E 453 before. My advice to everyone....don't buy this keyboard. Really disappointed with the quality of the same. Reasons 1) The first tone...Live Concert grand piano which is the primary piano tone is horrible...it is very thin as a sample and you can't edit it as the problem lies with the sample itself.....the second tone which is Live Grand Piano is way better..it is pretty fuller and acceptable. 2) The speakers are very poor and less louder ...you need to keep the volume at 85 to 90 percent ....the voice coming out is pretty average. Now they have given a button call MEGABOOST which can increase the volume which increase all the frequencies...it has level 1 and level 2....once you go to level 2...the voice distort.....this is so stupid...why will you do that....instead the speakers auto should automatically be powerful and stable enough to do that specifically for EW 425 which is said to have stronger speakers. 3) The build quality of the keys and off on button is the worst...cannot believe it.....yamaha is degrading the quality of the keyboard...it looks like 4) Lot of voices present in the keyboard are too thin and these cannot be edited or usable....specifically the Live Concert Grand piano This is the most genuine feedback you will find on any website.....these youtube reviewers won't tell all these flaws since they are paid by Yamaha...it looks like......my E453 was way better overall
I bought this to use as a practice piano on my travels. It is poor quality, poor key action, poor sound and despite the product description the keys are not full size. Returned it.

And DSP!
It’s half a thousand dollars in Yamahas website
Just saw this at BJ’s grocery club for $199 with the stand
Hi!! What is super articulacion??
It's a good enough keyboard, imo.

I just ordered this from Amazon. I had seen another video rating it the best in its class, even having features more expensive ones don't have.
The Information was very helpful. Thank you, Pastor Judy

If they had made this semi-weighted, it would have been even better. I believe the old YPG-235 was like that.
Very helpful review, thank you for taking the time to make this video.
Por fin un video donde prueban bien el piano y no se pierden en la teoria y conversacion.
I have a PSR-ew310 and it’s a good piano for me
A lo que viniste 9:16

Which one sounds better ?Psr ew 310 or 410 ?
Great Video thanks, would you happen to know how to turn off the loud Bell in the metronome?
Thank you
Thank you. Blessings
Why at the middle c range the notes go without no sound then from the d sound there is sound?

@Pablo Inostroza thank you for the insight, that's very helpful
having the same question

Hi! Nice to subscribe. Do u ship to Liberia?
Great vid!
Can this control a Yamaha Reface CP?
I just got one, I wish I knew how to change the pitch or melody of the keys
While there is no pitch bend, you can use the articulation button to slide between notes on some of the sounds
@@sumedhhhh Niceee, nowadays I figured it out
@@windykingdom6153 oh cool😎👌
Great keyboard!!!!😃

Does this share the same sound set as the EW410?
Some sounds , but it has a better concert grand sample, not sure if it comes from the CFX concert grand
@@RaY_77Wwhich one??
Hands down in my opinion that concert grand piano in my opinion sounds like a Motif keyboard with speakers
how can i turn off the touch function?? pls

This video is so much easier to watch and understand than that Jeremy see video. Couldn't stand his voice
Can you alter tempo easily. Mine has to be tapped.
Just got it. It has tap tempo, which is the quickest way to set tempo, but I'm sure you can manually set the tempo.

Yamaha psr ew410 or P125 if he can play like pros you need 88 key piano
are the keys weighted or are they very light?
I have one and it is light
Light but touch sensitive
After100 years of taking can someone make it sound for a second?
👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻
Is it $200 keyboard? 😳
Yes, because its black friday you can find it in Walmart below 200 dollars
Stop gabbing and play the freaking sounds
