Good luck. I started a few days after you but with less to lose. I’ve lost 12 pounds in the 4 weeks but am now stopping for a while to see if the food noise comes back. My journey so far though had mirrored yours. I want to see what lessons I’ve learnt and whether I can continue with the change in eating habits. Looking forward to your next update.
Well done, nice to hear a weight loss result from a man. Most stories I have seen are women. I have been on a weight loss plan for about a year and can’t shift the weight. I have ordered a starter dose to hopefully give me a boost in the right direction and cut out the food noise that’s constantly wanting me to snack, even when I don’t need to. Looking forward to week 4. Are you going to keep going with it?
Well done mate just keeping plodding on with it ,I definitely get dry mouth even with good water intake . I’m week nine on 5 mg weight down 3 stone 2.5 pound … keep at it mate you will smash it
@ it really works I was so unsure about it at start ,the suppression effect is unreal so the “food noise” just disappears and lets you do other things.good luck pal
Hi Freddy I was on Monjaro for 3 months and lost 21lbs I started on 2.5 and went up to 5s ….i found it ok and the food noise went away , food didn’t interest me at all , now I’m off it I have maintained my weight loss but it is hard because your appetite comes back with a vengeance …anyway mate keep going your doing well 👍
Amazing results with all that travel as not easy whilst living on the road and in hotels. Great to see your energy levels appear to be good. keep up the good work and look forward to see how a week at home affects things this week💪
It's going really, really well for you. I'm around 5'7" and 110kg so I'm definitely not in a good place weight-wise, although I'm pretty active and run 2-3 times per week etc... but I got a bit of a wake up call with an alert for possible sleep apnea (got an official test in 2 weeks) so am watching your progress and experience with the injections with interest, as I know my weight is probably the biggest contributing factor, and any possible side effect of the jabs would outweigh (pun intended) the risks of severe sleep apnea etc... That's by-the-by though, your progress is ace - well done and thanks for sharing!
Your doing good Freddy great news on the weight loss IV been there about 3 years ago I was 18 st it's not been easy up and downs . Keep up the good work
Another great, honest video. “Dropping the kids off” got me! 😂 Glad it’s working for you though mate, it’s a great insight for people who want to know what to expect too if they’re thinking about it 💪
Starting Mounjaro was the best thing I’ve done for myself. I’m a stone down in the first month. Ready for 5mg now as my suppression is going & some food noise😊 is creeping back in.
@ they do say try to remain on the lowest possible dose if you are seeing what loss and managing to keep to a better diet but I intend to stick on 5mg for at least 2 months as I’m already eating much bigger portions than I was even just 2 or 3 days after injecting on 2.5 mg so the loading dose has clearly served its purpose.
To maximise my losses I watched dr Stirrets you tube vids grocery store walkthrough & grocery store walkthrough 2. They are brilliant and am losing very nicely. The biggest thing is to remove all diary, any carbs should be complex brown rice & sweet potatoes..etc… No nightshade veg potatoes, tomato’s, peppers, chillis of any kind……etc . Im using lots of cauliflower, broccoli & spinach…and lots of protein a chicken breast, 2 x pork loins, 6 beef meatballs, tin of tuna in spring water one of these proteins with veg for my evening meal, tin of tuna/ brown rice for lunch & protein shake( Huel) for breakfast. But like you dropping the kids off🤣 is hit or miss! Keep at it your doing great!
@ I’ve had 3 weeks on 2.5 and had an email from my supplier today with the 5.0 and it’s more expensive but I think I had an introductory offer. I think it’s supposed to be £225 a month no matter the dosage. But had an offer for first month £160 and email this morning said some discount on 2nd for £190 and then I think it’s full price of £225. I’m probably going to ask them to continue with discount.
Tas far as dropping kids off….. they say use osmotic laxatives “ Lactulose” is great it drop fluids into the bowels to keep things moving& a stimulant like Dulcolax helps alongside lactulose.
Hey Freddy...dry mouth is probably the Mounjaro I have heard others have the same side effect.......so dont worry --- but be aware of your teeth then my friend because you might easyli get holes easiyer with this dry mouth when you sleep........its a side effect of the side effect. Inga Dk and very much congrates with the lower weight for now and i the future.
I have similar at two weeks, going to bump it up to the 5mg and see if that extends the 5 days. I take omeprazole which stops indigestion. My doctor daughter told me its better to treat indigestion as it does long term damage but then she also wants me to take statins 😆
what you did by not eating until dinner was not a mistake to learn from. It was something that is fantastic for you. Going 16-24 hours or more between meals is actually extremely healthy. We have a bunch of amazing biochemistry that kicks in when we're fasted that was developed over millions of years by our ancestors. Your body makes human growth hormone and brain derived neurotrophic factor. Also, your body begins the process of autophagy, cleaning out waste products from your cells. This cardiologist gives a brilliant lecture on it. I highly recommend you give it a listen. th-cam.com/video/RuOvn4UqznU/w-d-xo.htmlsi=6Oic9TKttvrQJ_l7

Been an absolute game changer so far! 😊
Yes, alarm clocks for meal times is a great idea and bringing prepared meals with you!
Starting Mounjaro was the best thing I’ve done for myself. I’m a stone down in the first month. Ready for 5mg now as my suppression is going & some food noise😊 is creeping back in.
Seeing the same this week

Thanks! Will take a look at them 😊
Do you intend on moving to 5mg after your 4th week?
Good question. Plus Freddy if you see this, does the price of it go up as the mg strength increases?

My 2nd dose of 2.5mg was the same price (£135). I decided to maintain the 2.5mg dosage as I was happy losing just 1-2lbs per week.
@@danieloliver9930yes the price does go up, but usually after 5mg.
Cheer's @1CS

Hi mate, same problem with my dry mouth to the point were I wake up 2 or 3 times during the night to have some water.
Great update, did you notice any aches I woke up this morning with lower back ache unless I slept funny, I always see people saying body aches
I’m week 3 and wondering whether to order just .25 again or up the dose to 0.5 ?
Jealous of your -2° run! My morning run in Sydney was 23° at 5.30am 🥵
Happily swap you! 😊
Dry mouth is definitely a side effect, I would often wake with a sore throat despite drinking at least two litres the day before!

Week 2 3.2kg lost total
Still have heart burn
Craving coming back after day 5

👏👏👏
It slows down peristalsis,so food sits on bowels/ intestine, hence dropping kids off.
Set an alarm to remind you to eat.? How ridiculous!
Why do you think that?

I totally agree. Through intermittent fasting and cutting out snack food I've lost 32llbs since July.
