Very well done. You are doing incredibly well Caroline. And you definitely look better in yourself. It’s wonderful news that your knee is feeling better and less swollen. Looking forward to following your journey and sending you lots of positive vibes and love Xx
I have been taking Mounjaro and I have lost weight but the best results have been in my cholesterol levels and I’m no longer pre diabetic! This has been the biggest joy for me. The weight loss is great too .
You look absolutely fabulous- one thing i have noticed over the weeks is you don't sound as breathless as you used to when you were talking- it was quite worrying - yaaaaay you x
Thank you for just a positive and informative vlog. I have been considering Mounjaro for while now and this was just what I needed - a down to earth informative vlog. Looking forward to your next month update x
May I also suggest to you @LadyMawa on TH-cam- the lady Marcea is nearly at the end of her weight loss journey on Mounjaro after 6 months and she is amazing as well. So much help if you are undecided.
Hi Caroline, my GP told they don’t prescribe for weight loss at the moment it’s only private. He did say it’s likely to be next year before GPs are allowed to prescribe. Well done I’m still working on my weight loss. After 3 weeks I loss 7 lbs.
Hi Michelle - yes, I believe that currently GPs have to refer you to Weight Management clinic which can take years to get an appointment (3 years where I live, at the moment). Hopefully if the NHS allow GPs to prescribe it, rather than having to refer people onwards, it will be available quicker. Well done on your weight loss. :)
Well done Caroline. Love the way you have explained this injection and hope that it helps lots of people. Thank you for sharing your story and looking forward to the next update x
I'm so delighted that this is working for you so well. Well done on the fantastic loss. You're looking great. I can't imagine how you must be feeling, it truly seems like this could be life changing for you 💕 I've followed you for many years now and always appreciate your honesty and the way you conduct yourself in everything you do. Wishing you so much continued success ✨ xxxxx
Well done, Caroline! Weight loss is never easy because of the lifestyle changes and commitment, but the two month marker is something to celebrate! 🎉 Just as an observer, I can see the changes. You look extra glowy! Xx Patty
So happy for you - the fact that your knee is feeling better too is a bonus. Well done - hope you are able to keep it up (although not pressure!). Your health is the most important thing..
I'm so pleased for you, Caroline! The medication is obviously working as it should, and the fact that it is not only doing it's intended job but also making you FEEL better, says everything. I'm looking forward to following your health journey, and I wish you continued success!
I'm so happy for you, Caroline! Your weight loss journey sounds very successful, just like mine has been. I stayed on 2.5 mg of MJ for 3 months, then transistioned to 5 mg. in May. I've stayed on that dose ever since, because I continued to lose weight and still had some appetite suppression. I would encourage you not to go up in dosage unless you find your weight loss has stalled. While my weight has stabilized at 123 pounds and a healthy BMI, I don't have the appetite suppression other than the fact that my stomach has gotten smaller and I just naturally don't eat like I used to. I think you will find - whatever dose you decide to consider maintenance - that you won't be in the habit of snacking, and you won't be able to fit as much food in your body as you used to! You're going to be looking for all new clothes in a much smaller size, but I'd also urge you not to bother replacing too many things until you are at your final weight. I have size 16's, size 12's, and now size 8's, so I have tote boxes in the basement with all the bigger sizes that no longer fit. Its a joy to have this problem, though, and aren't we so fortunate to live in a time that we can actually benefit from this medicine?! Happy journey to you, Caroline!
Congratulations on your weight loss. I had read its also very good for inflammation so thats an added bonus. I look forward to more videos on your weight loss journey.
Hey Caroline 3rd week tomorrow for me and loving it- isn’t it great to finally be able feel my goal weight is attainable! Also I have really upped my protein and able to easily stick to my 1400 calorie deficit amount ps you look fab and it really helps mental well being for me too as I was feeling so down about way I looked (piled on weight since being unwell - have ME/Cfs plus menopause). Love following your journey whilst I’m also on mine xx
So pleased for you Caroline. It must take some courage to share your weight loss journey. I don't know you from a bar of soap lol but feel so proud of you.
Thank you Caroline for giving such an honest review. I have followed you for yonks and your various weight loss journeys and tried them myself and most don’t work so I’m glad you are on this one - we can see the difference- bloody well done!!👏
Hi Caroline. Well done on your weight loss. I have been on Mounjaro for 10months and lost 23 kilos. I still have a way to go. I had a heart problem last year, the reason hospital put me on Mounjaro. I’m nearly 77 with Arthritis in most joints. I will be very happy to hear when it goes on prescription. I have no problems apart feeling a little nauseous the first day of injection but that soon wears off.
Thankyou for your honesty Caroline, paying for Mounjaro is no different to paying for a slimming club IMO, if it could be done by willpower alone we would all be a healthy weight. I have been on Forxiga 10mg since July for heart and kidney failure, I have lost 14lbs, I can now see my ankle and shin bones and feel so much better at 12st 4, still heavy I know, but so much better.
Well done Caroline! You are looking great! So often when people lose weight it shows on their face, but you are glowing! Onwards and upwards ( or maybe inwards!) 🌹
Hi Caroline . That video was very good x it's so helpful and informative showing no bias or judgement, I guess professional would be the word! Love your honesty and i will follow your amazing journey. You look really good x ♥️ well done, it shows, you are putting yourself first , 👏 it's great x
Thank you for this video and your honesty. I was almost going to go for it but when you added in the news about your knee and how it has helped inflammation I signed up. I tore a ligament in my knee and as a result both knees are really painful. Carrying less weight will no doubt help.
Very interesting. I love the way you describe your experience. Intelligent, reasoned , sensible. So pleased for you. I understand how good it must be to feel in control and calm around food. I wish you continued success.❤
So happy for you, Caroline. You look wonderful and the decrease in pain and swelling in your knee is terrific! Wishing you all the best! XXX Maryfrances
Thank you for sharing your journey with us Caroline. You are looking really well at the moment and the weight loss shows in your face. Have a wonderful time on your holiday!
I’m so happy for you Caroline .. Being healthy and Happy is the best gift we can give ourselves .. AGI works for me also …I’m 71 and in a good place health wise I do Pilates plus Gym xx My Mantra ( Get up Get Dressed and never give up ) Thanks for sharing x
Thank Caroline for sharing all the information and your weight loss You are doing it in a very sustainable way and the news about your knee is wonderful I’m intending starting it in the new year
Caroline, excellent Vlog & great news ….Ignore the negative comments ( really do not understand why people have to be unpleasant) …you are doing exactly what is best for you ….and that is fabulous ….Have a Wonderful week ahead xxxx
Many thanks for the update. Very informative. So pleased that you are seeing such positive results from taking. Have a fantastic time in NY/on your cruise.
What a fabulous amount of weight to loose ..and the help with your knee is just wonderful..well done you for being so pro active.. you’ve done so well ❤
We are at very similar points and weight loss in our journey and like you I have experienced so many benefits including reduction in arthritis inflammation. I’m glad you touched on the deaths from the other ‘shall not be named’ as it is very true and I also noted the wording around contributory factor NOT the cause of death. You might be surprised after your cruise that you have remained the same or even lost. Wishing you continued success ❤
Well done Caroline. We're all different and I think we all have to find our own journey and do it in the best and healthiest way we can. My weight loss journey has been lifelong and at the same age as you, my weight has yo-yo'd all my life. I think if you've found something that is helping you feel better physically and emotionally then you're absolutely doing the right thing for you 😊
Hi carloline, I agree heartily with all you said, Mounjaro really does work on the brain and inflammation, I’m really hoping once the licence is expired there’ll be generic forms that all can afford. My GP is thrilled with my weight loss and blood pressure etc, he doesn’t agree that some people try to make me feel bad for buying it,as he said it’s not a lack of the injections it’s that it’d cost the NHS too much to prescribe it to all the patients that need it and could benefit from it, told me to carry on😊 I also take psyllium husk capsules, work a treat. I’m 1lb off my 4st weight loss now, started in June. Well done on your weight loss Caroline 😊😊😊😊🥰🥰
@@pam14321 I started the same time as you and have the same weight loss it’s amazing isn’t it. Everyday I just can’t believe it after so many years of failing . Problem is I just want to keep buying new clothes it’s costing me a fortune but thank goodness for vinted lol.
Thank you for the update. I’m glad it’s working for you and you are looking really well. It’s not something I want to try but I’m interested in hearing about other people’s experiences with it. Xx
I’ve been on it a while now and on 15mg. Don’t be disheartened if you go through phases of losing the minimum or your weight maintains for a couple of weeks. I find this happens, then I’ll randomly have. 6lb loss. I think it’s just the body adjusting to no longer dealing with food the way it use to. I was very much being good a few days, eating bad for a day. Pushing sugar salt and fat in. Then my body had to deal with that. Where as now, I eat little and often, I don’t really restrict what I eat. If I fancy it I have it. I get satisfied and full very quickly. I’m naturally wanting cleaner food. I totally trust myself now. I loosely track calories. Mainly to make sure I’m eating enough. Took a few weeks for my brain to catch up to no longer being in a binge eating pattern. The food noise for me stopped instantly. But this injection has really highlighted how much food, comfort, feelings and food ruled my life. I no longer use food as a reward and I no longer feel I’m missing out
Yaay well done Caroline! It’s really good watching this because I’m on it too. I’ve stayed on 2.5mg and on my 3rd month - because I was loosing 2llbs a week still in month 2. However I’m finding the food suppression to not be working quite as well so I’m definitely going to go up to 5mg. Keep up the good work 👍🏽xx
Hi Caroline, I feel really pleased for you. Being overweight it miserable isn't it? I have had a lot of health issues in the last six years resulting in, for the first time in my life, weight gain I don't seem able to shift. Like you I have an incredibly painful knee and due to health reasons can't have an anaesthetic so this would be wonderful. I am going to visit my GP for a discussion to see if this is okay for me. During 'the pandrmic' I was an at risk person so told to stay home. Saying this because I was able to save a little money not being able to go out to spend any cash. I will happily spend it on this medication if, apart from the physical effects, it makes my psychological well being as good as it appears to have made you. Caroline, you look great, seem very relaxed and happy. I love your channel, why you haven't got thousands and thousands of supporters is beyond me. I know it wasn't your intention but if viewers come to the site because of your weight loss journey I am positive they will stay because it's brilliant. That would make it winner, winner wouldn't it? Congratulations and wish you well on your journey.❤
I understand the ‘head’ thing completely. My weight is dropping very slowly but at least it’s in the right direction. My head is telling me that a little bit of something “illegal” wouldn’t do any harm, even though I haven’t the least bodily interest in eating it. Have to tell myself not to be an idiot! You’re looking radiant Caroline, stick with it. The knee relief is worth it all. ❤️
I'm very happy for you Caroline. I made an appt at my docs to see the diabetic nurse when you made your last video and they got me in to see her at the end of Dec! You look good 😊
Well done Caroline, you look great. I understand about knee that's my next op. I'm 6 weeks post op with hip replacement. Arthritis can be such a debilitating thing. For every 1 lb of weight you lose that's 6lb less pressure on your knee. So my consultant tells me. So go you.😊
Very interesting so glad that it’s working well for you and amazing that it’s made a big difference to your knee I have osteoarthritis in both my knees so know that anything that helps is greatly appreciated, many thanks for sharing, well done you👍🏻❤️
So pleased this is working for you. I lost 42 kg once. It was such a long and arduous period of really limiting, denying and obsessing over food. Just couldn’t sustain it. Minimising desire would be such a bonus.
Losing weight isnt easy but it can lift your mood and make you feel loads better. I've lost about the same as you (a cutting down + smaller portion diet ) and dropped a dress size. I was having my blood sugar monitered as I have a health condition with can cause typ2 diabetes and I was nearly thete by my weight loss has pulled me back from the brink. You are looking brilliant. Your face is slimmer and your skin is glowing. And good news about your knee and less pain. Also losing it at 2 pound a week is best in the long run.
Well done Carolyn You can see in your face that you have lost weight and you have such a healthy glow. I’m very interested on your weight loss journey, side effects ect. My doctor has been talking to me about Monjaro,.and I was a bit unsure, but listening to you has helped me make up my mind. I’m going to try it in the New Year. I live in Australia and you have to pay for it as it’s not on the subsidies medication, which I don’t mind. A lot of people are trying it and having great success. I love all your videos, always interesting.🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺
Well done -keep up the good work! Nice that you’re sharing the journey. Great that you’re getting the side benefit for your knee. I’ve been using AG1 for quite a while now. Unfortunately I’m not consistent with it but trying to be better. I didn’t care for the taste so I put a few drops of Ribena in it and much improved (looks a bit more scary but I like it). Always enjoy your videos. Thank you.
I'm lucky that I quite like the taste, I shake it up way longer than they suggest though, which gets rid of that 'powdery' aftertaste quite well for me.
I am a month behind you Caroline, taking week four today. My appetite is extremely surpressed, I am getting by most days on around 800 calories so the weight is dropping off. The main benefit for me was staying off wine, previously I was about 3 glasses a day and now it is none, and I dont crave it at all. Brilliant!! Interesting to hear your experience and will definitely tune in for your next update.
Thank you Caroline, that’s a really interesting update. I am weighing it up 😂. I would dearly love to lose some weight, I too have arthritic knees and also insulin resistance which makes weight loss harder. I am about 8 years older than you and feel you are wise to be doing this at your life stage, before other conditions kick in. I am one of the people who was seriously effected by the medication which the NHS is still pushing at us, and lost nearly two years of my life with surgery and a painful heart condition, now hopefully resolved. That has made me a little wary, otherwise I would have no hesitation in trying Mounjaro.
I kept my dose the same until my weight loss leveled out then I would do the recomended next increase,,, I am still on 1mg for the last 6 months,,, but I feel I am needing a increase especially with the holidays coming,,,,, so glad u are having a good experience with your journey,,, watch the muscle loss because it sneaks up on you,,, I am trying to play catch up because I all of a sudden realized it was happening,,,,

You look good 😊
Well done, you are looking really well, keep up the good work.
Cruising is the best place to diet..loads of healthy options….and a gym and pool and walking ….enjoy
I am so excited for you.can't wait for the new clothes you'll have to buy next yesr❤
Well done, that is a great result. 🎉
Just so happy it is working out for you , you are losing at sensible amount so it is obviously suitable for you . ❤
Well done Caroline, you look great. I understand about knee that's my next op. I'm 6 weeks post op with hip replacement. Arthritis can be such a debilitating thing. For every 1 lb of weight you lose that's 6lb less pressure on your knee. So my consultant tells me. So go you.😊
BRILLIANT 🎉. Well done, keep up the good work 💯❤xxx
Well done, Caroline. I’ve hit the 38lbs mark with Mounjaro and the required hard work. Onwards and downwards.
Oh well done, Andrea, that's brilliant!
Fantastic news about your knee and you look so much slimmer in your face.
That’s amazing re your knee , what a fab side effect , keep going xxxxx
Very interesting so glad that it’s working well for you and amazing that it’s made a big difference to your knee I have osteoarthritis in both my knees so know that anything that helps is greatly appreciated, many thanks for sharing, well done you👍🏻❤️
So pleased this is working for you. I lost 42 kg once. It was such a long and arduous period of really limiting, denying and obsessing over food. Just couldn’t sustain it. Minimising desire would be such a bonus.
Honestly, it's life changing to me.
💕
Losing weight isnt easy but it can lift your mood and make you feel loads better. I've lost about the same as you (a cutting down + smaller portion diet ) and dropped a dress size. I was having my blood sugar monitered as I have a health condition with can cause typ2 diabetes and I was nearly thete by my weight loss has pulled me back from the brink.
You are looking brilliant. Your face is slimmer and your skin is glowing. And good news about your knee and less pain. Also losing it at 2 pound a week is best in the long run.
Caroline, you are looking great, your weight loss is showing in your face and your glowy skin, keep it up! 🎉
Congratulations ❤
You are looking good caroline keep going xx
Excellent results well done. ❤
Well done Carolyn
You can see in your face that you have lost weight and you have such a healthy glow.
I'm happy for you Caroline. You look lovely today.😊
I agree it does need a good shake especially as I also add my collagen powder to it.
Inspirational. You look beautiful and so happy xx
Thank you so much!!
Congrats, sounds like you're doing brilliantly!
Hi Caroline, you look radiant and absolutely amazing. Going to try it after Christmas just hope l have a positive outcome like you.🎉🎉
Thank you Caroline, that’s a really interesting update.
Completely understand your feelings after going through that, I'd be wary too. Sorry that happened to you.
Good for you ,you are looking great ❤
Your looking vibrant in this video, Caroline, well done you…
Oh thank you!
Caroline you look fab keep up the good work well done💕👍🏻
Well done caroline
I kept my dose the same until my weight loss leveled out then I would do the recomended next increase,,, I am still on 1mg for the last 6 months,,, but I feel I am needing a increase especially with the holidays coming,,,,, so glad u are having a good experience with your journey,,, watch the muscle loss because it sneaks up on you,,, I am trying to play catch up because I all of a sudden realized it was happening,,,,
I'm exercising as well - walking on treadmill and also using the rebounder, so hopefully that'll help :)
