4 beastmen games on this channel and everytime the beastmen get spanked. Can there be some more beastmen games please? Maybe some where half the army doesn't disappear because of bad leadership roles...
Very entertaining. Best report you guys have put out in a long time. Great to see some variety! Everyone does great over there but it gets old seeing the same lists every time steve plays.
Ambush doesn't work out in the majority of games. Personally I would have deployed the second unit of Gors on the table at the beginning. I love you guys for keeping fantasy alive. More beastmen if possible though.
Some bad luck for the Beastmen in key spots, but still fun. Kazrak whipping the shit out of a whole rank of Black Orcs is just fantastically cinematic.
Why ? 9th age is the continuity of the V8 and fantasy. Did you already played to 9th age ? Its the same mecanism that V8, but with better interne and externe balance. All unit are playable and interresting to play.
Because Swedish comp wasn't fun, and because 9th age fans get triggered when people say anything negative about 9th age. I'm happy you guys are playing the fantasy battle game you always wanted, but it's not for me. Maybe it's just my way of mourning the game.

I think you're thinking of 7th ed. In 8th (and 6th, and all previous relevant editions) animosity is only failed on a roll of 1- then you roll again, and a 6 forces a charge.
Late answer, but no, the enemy only runs away if their roll is higher, otherwise it's assumed their combatants chase them in a massive group, with some slowing down and others keeping up.
its been a while since Ive played 8th, but how was it that your shaman could take 2 arcane items- ( the dispel scroll and the earthing rod)? I'm sure its 1 per model.
So i know this was 11 months ago but i think you guys do stone throwers wrong. They can fire indirectly but always scatter, i don't think that first shot on the chariot could see the whole template and that doom diver shot def couldn't, they might work differently though. I would check out the rules for stone throwers if i were you guys.
Artillery units vs. Beastmen, you should be ashamed. ;) Also, shifty pivot into 2nd Gor unit with your Orks. It is supposed to be center to center and not pivot till you max your front.
If Miniwargaming is willing, The 9th Age (www.the-ninth-age.com) has picked up where 8th was left and made a great game from it. Beastmen get to finally be a balanced army, Ambush working on a 3+, up to 60% of your army can ambush, and just all around succeeding 8th in the rank and file style that AoS does not bring.
Still have to roll for Quell Animosity, if you re read the rule, the BO inflicts hits if they fail then they act normal.
The Black Orcs actually needed a 3 to stick around not a 4. You forgot the wound the champion did to the Shaman. Which was kind of a massive deal.
Could have changed the whole game right there with that failed break test.

beastmen in the last2 turn should have been steadfast, even if you lose rank bonus they still get steadfast if they have more physical ranks

Order of operations question. At 53:45 you rolled your trolls pursuit first for all of 2". Should they not then have blocked the other pursing unit?

57.09 did you do enough hits on your orks when you hit your fanatic 2d6 s5 hits then killing him so his death throws another 2d6 s5 hits?
Fanatics do 1D6 hits normally, +1D6 for death throws- so 2D6 all up was correct. Yes this is a very late reply :p

Doom divers do work differently, they can steer the shot after it's fired to an extent.
I'd buy a jabberslyth if it wasent resin, they are amazing
