I think night goblins get hatred against dwarfs. You keep calling weird numbers to roll to wound, particularly in the troll combat, either assuming the thane is t4 rather than 5 and assuming the opposite at one point for the trolls. When troll are stupid and stumble forward they will not enter combat but stay an inch away. Also stomps are distributed as shooting attacks so you can't target out the characters unless in a challenge. Right picky stuff out of the way. Great to watch batrep still, which is more important in the end. Keep up the WHFB!
Goblins vs dwarves... ok. Goblins can't rely too much on magic nor arty to win against those stunties. Next time, what could beat them? Throw a giant in the lot? A lot of spider riders? An orc unit?

You guys GOT to start remembering that units which are flanked, are considered DISRUPTED. Therefore, they don't get a rank bonus! This can make a HUGE difference! You have missed that every time in several games now. :( Also, you cannot direct Stomp attacks the way you did at the 27 minute mark. In the BRB p. 76, the rule says "on one...unit", not "on one...model". Therefore, you would not have killed the Runesmith in this manner.

In all of the 5 battle Reports i saw, you guys made serious rule mistakes. In this case, the hatred would have changed a lot for the goblins. Nice battreps anyway.
Pretty luka played the deployment of the fanatics incorrectly. You can only fire them from the forward arc (pretty sure) and then you can't deliberately use them in such a way that it will damage your own units.
refuse to watch Luka.. he has no clue of his own armies rules.. 16min mark the dwarfs do not end their charge on top of the fanatics so that is just a single d6 per fanatic - then he misses hatred in hand to hand..
Because we get a lot of views and Vault signups with this series. We might one day experiment with 9th Age, but as of right now it is unproven whilst this is proven.
I think I have to unsubscribe. Its a bit ridiculous how much old warhammer gets played vs AoS. Its a dead game and some people refuse to move on that's fine im glad they get bat reps. However way more people play AoS now and with the new generals handbook dropping and barely any content compared to a dead system is too much for me.
R.J. MacReady: I have to disagree with you, mate. Where I leave nobody plays AoS but we still play our humoungus armies of Fantasy. Plus the point ia not about which version is the one currently supported by GW, but more about giving their "dose" to all the Fantasy players that have been playing it for years (decades sometimes). Believe after playing 17 years with my skavens, I won't play AoS and I am far from being the only one. MWG understood this and that is why they have this serie, to make old grumpy players like me keep coming back. In top of that, AoS was quitd a disaster when they launched it, losing lots of old players, I am no expert but the player base for AoS and Fantasy might still be equal or not too far from each others. If you were a company like MWG would you rather stop doing Fantasy content and lose all the player base or continue with a bit of both and both player bases watch? In addition, AoS has way more content produced here than Fantasy, AoS has now: - painting tutorial - narrative campaign - more batreps - etc. Fantasy players have 2 shows (one is in the vault) per week only. If you cannot stand the idea that they still have this (and only this), I feel sorry for you. Cheers! Ymlhael

Ymlhael and Simon, I appreciate both your responses. And I take your well laid out points Ymlhael. To clarify it's not that I don't think they should be doing Old World Wars, I'm glad they are for people still playing it. It's just a frequency thing for me. I don't play 8th edition anymore and I don't play 40k so I feel like the AoS bat reps are too infrequent. On top of that one of the things I think AoS has going for it is the narrative battle plans and MWG always seems to play basic pitched battle so it's just something I want to communicate to MWG possibly influencing their future bat reps. Thanks for being considerate in your responses. Edit: now that I've gone back Simon you weren't terribly considerate. I think it's unfair to characterize that it's not all for me. That's not what I was saying.

I used to play 40k but all the formations shenanigans and the "buy a CA$50 every month to have a chance to win" policy threw me off. Hard reality is that whether it is Fantasy or AoS, it is a just a ridiculous fractions of players/sells compared to 40k. As for Infinity, Warmahorde, Bolt Action batreps on MWG, those games are amazing but still small players compared to 40k. Why would MWG try to cover those games instead of 40k? They will lose lots of hardcore 40k subscribers to win lone fans of alternative systems. If you like Bolt Action or X wing, go on tabletop gaming or Yahoo Warriors channel. They will make you happy (and they have explicit content conversation).

8th edition changed that rule: you have to be flanked AND have at least two ranks doing the flanking in order to disrupt the enemy.

I always prefer Hammerers instead of Ironbreakers. More attacks and better banner. Maybe I can teach that guy to play Dwarves someday.
