Oh my goodness this so pretty. My baby girl left us a month ago. She had a massive heart attack. Only 39. But she s safe with JESUS and my precious momma n daddy. Oh how I miss her for sure. Rest easy my precious April. Momma loves you very much.
We played this song at my mom's funeral. She was a big ORB fan and thought it was fitting to honor her favorite group. They are still a guilty pleasure of mine as well.

About 5 years ago, my daughter surprised me on my birthday with tickets to an Oak Ridge Boys concert. On the way in to the show she was apologizing for the seating because they were the best she was able to get, I should have been suspicious of her apologies. The seats were center stage, front row. It was at this concert that this song made its concert debut.
I believe there is no suffering in heaven. Love you, Rusty! You stay with me forever, in my heart. I really do love Rusty. He was so kind to me. Like he knew me and I was just a fan. He really was a true Christian. And always makes me wanna do better. I am so sad he died.
This song has helped to heal. Thank you.

What a beautiful song. My baby sister passed away May 30, 2022, 1 day before our momma's birthday, and 2 days before her 40th birthday. It's been really hard on our family. We've had so much loss in our family this year. We lost my daughter's boyfriend in July '21, my cousin in Oct '21, my grandmother in Jan '22, my sister in May, and my aunt in June '22. I pray that they're up there celebrating and their 🌟 are shining bright for us.❤

I lost my Mom two years ago tomorrow, (4/26). Saw the Oaks sing this one last night. Mama loved them, and she passed her love of their amazing harmonies on to me. It was a nice little moment when I heard this one for the first time last night. I bought the record early this morning, and have listened to this one on loop. "I'm gonna miss you every day, but I know that you're alright".

You were always my sister's and my favorite group. (even my granddaughter went to concerts with us starting at the age of 2) We started taking her when you sang over in "Little Nashville, Indiana" We played your gospel album, The Oak Ridge Boys Quartet & Bluegrass Favorites, at her viewing when she passed away on February 11th......and then you put this song on your new album 17th Avenue Revival right about this time!!! It is beautiful and just makes my heart happy. I listen to it almost every day!!! I am coming to your Renfro Valley Concert, June 2nd (and bringing that same granddaughter with me, now age 20). I really, really hope you sing this song during this concert. Thank you all for the joy and love you brought to me, my sister and my granddaughter. We enjoyed the quality time we got to spend together going to these concerts and this will be our first concert without my sister, Tina. Just thought you would like to know all the joy you have brought into our lives singing!!!! Thank you soooooo much!!!

Took my mom to their concert as a suprise a few days after my Grandma passed away. Boy did the tears start flowing during this one!!! Greatly appreciate this beautiful music! My Grandma would have loved this music too.....my mom ended up working up the courage to read the lyrics of this song just before we laid my grandma to rest 💕
Saw them perform this live on Veterans Day and it was the best song of the night.Like Joe told us , this is the happiest song about death I ever heard. After my wife died this is how I felt.

A year ago I renamed this "Dylan's Song" as I knew it wouldn't be much longer until his star would be shining brightly in Heaven. This is a beautiful song and the lyrics speak clearly as to how much Dylan is missed and to how brightly his star shone on earth and now in Heaven. Fly high handsome "red bird" . . . words can not express how much you are missed and loved beyond measure! Thank you to the Oak Ridge Boys for this beautiful song and that it brings Dylan and his family to my mind every time that I hear it.

They sang this song yesterday ... concert in Lancaster, PA.. Beautiful song. Just love this group. We have been listing to the Oaks for many decades. They just keeping getting better. May God bless them and keep them singing for many more years.
