These *stealth* missions are my faves. These and your A-10 missions. Is there any chance for you to fly the Tornado?.....perform any Land Attack missions with the GR1, and their dedicated anti-runway ordinance?
funny thing is F-35 could have done exactly same but better in this specific scenario due to its more advanced sensors including passive IRST - where F-22 flies totally blind F-35 would still have at least some situational awareness. Flight perfrormance didnt matter as he flew subsonic whole time and fired only 4 missiles which is standard payload for F-35A and newer ones should be getting the upgrade to 6

BRO! This one was so gangster. You're already in a ghillie suit (metaphorically speaking) in the Raptor belly crawling through the mountains and then forming up with a transport like David Blain or Penn and Teller and then vanishing after the magic trick. lol Brilliant. Well done. I totally geeked out on this vid.
This is legit NEXT LEVEL piloting competency. The fact that you thought to (avoiding spoilers here) create yourself a radar "disguise", let alone the way you did it AND the choice you made to do (or not to do, rather) at the end, was all just on a whole different level of air combat skill. It's one thing to "git gud" at a sim like DCS, getting more kills in a single sortie than most real life pilots get in a career, but there's quite a lot of DCS players who can pull that off easily enough. But again, the opportunity that was presented to you would have most likely been overlooked by almost all of the best DCS players. It really brings to light just how much you're thinking of everything at once - your situational awareness, your enemy's situational awareness, what your enemy is going to soon be able to see when you finally announce your presence, and on top of all that, forward-thinking of ways to give yourself the best advantage, your enemy's the most disadvantage, and even confuse the absolute hell out of them. Brilliant. We really need some input from @MaxAfterburnerusa on this one!
Reminds me of that old submarine movie with Kelsey Grammer. (Down Periscope). They are trying to infiltrate a harbor and sneak in under an oil tanker," I'm going to wear them like a hat" lol.... well done ;)
You could do a mission like this with the F-35 to see how it would do with this level of threats, since many air forces will also use them in missions with this profile.
this specific scenario F-35 would do even better due to its better sensors and flight performance not being a factor in flying subsonic at the deck sneaking around
A brilliant episode in the saga of the F-22 highlighting tactics and adaption of the pilot to complete the mission! Looks like there will be a promotion for the pilot for the success of this mission being done without being detected at all, all 4 targets shot down and the way you used that transport was really an excellent job!
Couple of things: 1 - Got real Star Trek: The Undiscovered Country vibes from using a transport to mask the attack 2 - Kudos for not dropping a John Cena/Drax reference when talking about stealth ("You can't see me...") 3 - When making your exfil you mentioned "your valley" and that made me think of "How green is my valley"
That was awesome. It was like watching something made in Hollywood. Except it was exciting. And well acted. And well directed. And suspenseful. And enjoyable.
Saw this one late and decided to watch before bed. I clicked "Like" first, as usual for GS's videos. I was about nine minutes into the mission before I realized I had been grinning the whole time. Still haven't stopped. I'll probably wake up with cramps in my cheeks from grinning in my sleep. Pure brilliance. 😁
I know this is just DCS, but it's so cool to see the F-22 do stuff they want the NGAD to be able to do. The idea that a mission like this is even a thing by any aircraft is astounding.
What a sneaky one 😂 Shooting missiles from a BTA belly😂😂 I would have loved to see their reaction seeing missiles they're not equipped with coming from nowhere 😂
Dude this video was so cool! Hiding under the transport was genius lol you should have done a de brief on that one I think that could have been neat to see. 🤙
"Dude, I'm serious, I don't know where those missiles came from." "Yeah, I know they showed up on radar exactly where I was but you saw the plane! I was in a transport!"
Man you were damnear flying formation with those 29's! And hiding beneath that transport was pure genius. I can only imagine the debrief over there once they all landed😱🤣😹
Lol 3 felons and 1 berkut flying behind like "I'm different" The part under the transport reminds me of Lift. Imagine they go "who shot that?" "IL-76?" "But that's a friendly" "Dave, mate, that ain't the problem, it shouldn't even have missiles"

Still really wanting 2v2 Eagle and Viper vs Tomcat and Hornet plz!
Whew, no GrowlingSidewinder "getting hit in the face" funeral today.
Still, butt clenchingly good mission.
These *stealth* missions are my faves. These and your A-10 missions.
Is there any chance for you to fly the Tornado?.....perform any Land Attack missions with the GR1, and their dedicated anti-runway ordinance?
Do you plan on getting the F-4F module from heatblur when it comes out?
NGAD vs F-15 ACTIVE, dogfight, guns and missles plzkthx
SU-57 vs F-15 ACTIVE, dogfight, guns only plzkthx
Trasport pilot watching 4 missiles shoot out from under him: "Ivan, what did you put in my Vodka this morning?"
When I saw him doing that I just thought, "Oh you've seen Down Periscope too."
"Vodka. I put vodka in your vodka."
Неужели... Мы только что сбили собственные бомбардировщики?
Next time you do one of these I just want the Pink Panther theme playing the entire time.
Absolutely 😂😂😂
lol 😅
This 😂
LOL
Or the Peter Gunn theme
That transport crew are going to have alotta splaining to do 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
if they have lucky, some patrols saw the diving contrail :)
This is the most F-22-est shit I've ever seen. F'n cold. Nasty work, GS.
Agreed!
This was awesome.
I love it. He's fishing for trout on supercruise. He looks up and sees RedAir and thinks, "Hello, Patsy. You're about to have to worlds worst AAR..."

Would like to see an f22 just going mad and fighting till the end.😂
@@Asghaad True for the F-35 but if you get caught, I rather have the F-22 and therefore better suited for solo sorties.
"Yuri, did you fire missiles?"
"We don't have missiles, Ivan."
"Well not anymore we don't."
Owen Wilson was not harmed during the making of this motion picture.
😹🤣😆😅😂

"We have fired on the Chancellor's ship!"
"Torpedo room, please confirm! Have we fired!?"
Didn’t think I’d see Star Trek VI played out with an F-22 today.
Captain Kirgsky: Vlady, did we fire?:D
Glad to see I'm not the only one who immediately thought about Chang's Bird of Prey.
Thank you because I was just thinking that same thought.
I understood that reference!
“If we could not have fired those missiles … then someone else did. Someone very near us. Possibly even beneath us.”
They could make a movie out of that mission. It had all of the elements of a great Maverick III movie...Great job!

*US Air Force watches this video*
US Air Force: “Write that down! Write that down!”
Haha😂
I'm like halfway through the video and so far this has been both nail-biting and hilarious
It got even funnier 😂
Lots of sighing, heavy breathing and breath holding from our illustrious pilot today. PuckerTime. haha
God.. my heart was racing while watching GS look around almost crashing into the trees TWICE
one of those treetop passes 1000% FOD the engines
This is literally the plot of Star Trek Undiscovered Country but with F-22 instead of Klingon Bird of Prey.
Shooting the missiles from below the transport was absolutely devious.
Love that yoy included a Su-47!!
I wish we saw the POV of the transport of you firings those AIM-120D's
6:28 - You said "eyeballs" & I immediately thought of your "eyeball glitch", & had to pause the video to laugh my ass off!!!
EXACTLY LOL

This is one of the most entertaining videos I've seen in a while. Hope to see more of those stealth infiltration missions in the future.
I have probably watched 100+ of your missions and I have to say this mission is by far my favorite! Thanks for the adrenaline rush!
Thank you watching (and all the other ones too) subs like you keep this channel alive, much love.
@@GrowlingSidewinder much as I enjoy the A-10 and SEAD content, hard agree on this one.

"Где?"
"ВЕЗДЕ!"
Хахахаха 😂
So tense sitting here waiting for the Berkut and his mates to discover you, but you flew textbook. Gripping stuff !

I bet that is where he got the idea. 😂
Gold star. 👏👏👏
"What could have fired those torpedoes?"
"A Bird of Prey."
Raptor: "Someone call for a Bird of Prey?"
I was waiting for this!
yeah, the 22 getting stealth drop tanks would make it such a menace
No, stealthy external missile pods would make it even more of a menace
This whole scene should be in a movie
And this is why GS will be teaching future rc controlled f-22 missions
I was half expecting a "?" balloon on the transport as the missiles flew away. Metal-Gear-Solid-like 😅
The most DASTARDLY, DEVIOUS Destruction in DCS I have ever seen!!!!! Love it!!!!!!!!!!
Little pucker factor on this mission.
I like it. Great mission.
Keep the Secret Squirrel missions coming.
I like how the US made the f15 and wiped the floor of air superiority just to do it again in like 20 years to beat their own jet. US is unmatched

Your contrail as you peeled away is the only thing keeping the crew of that transport from being the subject of an extremely weird military trial.
"You're charged with downing our entire nuclear air wing by yourself, how do you plead?"
"Thank you, sir."
I wasn't expecting the Berkut to make an appearance, it's such a beauty
"Da... We shoot down own aircraft... Again."
😂
That was so clinical and cool. Like Clint Eastwood in Firefox. That’s how cool!
That "use steal to hide under another ship and then open fire" bit was a plot point in Star Trek VI. Nicely done.
The Su-47 in formation with the Su-57s was a nice touch.
Should call you General Chang the way you framed that bird.

That was a super sneaky, super smooth and suspenseful Raptor mission. Que the mission impossible theme song. Just awesome 👏 😎
That -76 crew gotta be having some Survivor's Guilt.😅
In my opinion, one of the best vids you've put out...Satisfying to the end...
Loved the BF theme at the end. Great mission and amazing self control! 😎
Out of all the F-22 vids you put out this is the best one so far 👌
This is exactly how an F22 mission should play out. Thx
Best video ever!!! They're still trying to understand what the hell was going on!!
This might be one of my favorite videos. Creepin on your targets under one their transports. Amazing.
Love the F-22 content, can't get enough of it and want more!
"Soldier, how did you get that close to me? - Sniper approached the instructor by being a sneaky bastard, Sergeant Major!" Gotta love this scene.

yeesh, that first one, GS is like "Say my Name!" lol
"Gutsiest move I ever saw, man."
Had the “Goldeneye N64 pause screen” music gently playing in my head while watching.
F-22 easily my fav jet
That was so sneaky ninja! Stealth mode used the proper way. Awesome!
If you used the F-23, carry more missiles and more radar/thermal stealth. :). More range. This was fun video! 1000% enjoyment.
He already has and the NGAD as well.
It was clever you left the transport plane intact; the confusion was palpable, lol.
Loved this one. Sneaky sneaky haha. Cleaver girl 👀
Very enjoyable as always. That firing under the transport was epic!
The stealth an sneaking through the valleys was AMAZING!! Faster next time. The best part by far.....hiding under the transport. LMFAO. great content
