I've seen it. Over on oahu - there was a military exercise area near one of my jobsites, about a mile or so? They'd come in low dodging the hills, and do equipment drops (including vehicles) pretty cool.
4:54 Usually these guys don't have escorts.... They can kind of defend themselves.... As an F22 pilot casually writes down all the serial numbers of their equipment...........
🤣 "F-22 can't hurt you, if you unalive yourself first" like your sense of humour man. That was funny shit. That was pretty cool man. I enjoyed that whole video brother.
Hearing the bros in the HMMWV howl as the 22 flew overhead gave me the warmest feeling in the black void where my heart used to be... Seriously, almost shed a tear.
Look the F22 is cool and all but can we talk about the swagger of that C17 pilot to put that sled in a 90° bank that close to the deck?? Surprised he kept enough lift hauling those sorts of balls around
@@stevemc6010 Or Brisbane, Australia. C-17s flying down the Brisbane River below building rooflines is amazing. And the pilots are chucking the aircraft around a whole lot too.
Fun fact - unlike other airlift and transport aircraft - the C17 is flown with a center stick like a fighter and not a yoke. What you see here is Precisely why, It was designed to have very high mobility for something so large.
You would be surprised how agile the Moose is when unloaded and light. The thrust and lift are incredible. Flies like a giant fighter except you can’t pull the g’s
I thought the Globemaster was going to skim the water with its wing 😆And you gave a whole new definition for "clearing a checkpoint" with the Raptor. 🤣
"And here we have a rare sight: a pair of Su-34s in their natural habitat. They don't seem to have noticed us; let's see if we can't get a closer look..."
Fun fact - a few years ago I was working on a mountaintop in South East Alaska on a radio repeater sight swapping out the power station batteries. I heard it first, then looked down towards the water and saw a C-17 flying blow me, just above the water weaving North through the inside passage. Couldn't grab my camera in time but very cool.
Imagine the moral boost for the grunts on the ground deep behind enemy lines to see a F-22 paving way for them. Another great episode of F-22, thanks GS please keep them coming.
It was so cool to see the very accurate portrayal of 911th Airlift Wing C-17 Globemaster III out of Pittsburgh on DCS. I see them practicing several times a week here in Pittsburgh.
That C-17 is a total maniac! Reminded of the C-17 pilot who was in Alaska preparing for an airshow, and he crashed in spectacular fashion. You don't put the entire mission in peril- because you wanna fly like Tom Cruise. Damn near dragging a wingtip, and yanking & banking a transport aircraft in a 90 bank angle at low level is asking for trouble. I was highly puckered 😮
Years ago I read about a modification to the Aim-9X that allowed it to recognize/categorize boat (as in go fast boats) and vehicle (as in car) engines that was successful in testing. IDK if it was ever implemented, or maybe it was and it is a hush hush capability.
Bro, i just love how GS has turned such simple missions into cinematic masterpieces. As of recent, the ending F/A-18 form up w/ F-15s, and now this 22 zoomin past the troops...😎 just amazing... bravo mr aim-9x 🎉
Air superiority, ground superiority, whatever. Let's just call it what it is. The F-22 = Supremacy! Though massive props to that Globemaster pilot for that kind of flying.
Im sure "Notso" the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Razbam in the F-15E module would be more than happy to do some A/G stuff with you if you shot him an ask. He is a really nice dude with TONS of knowledge about the Strike Eagle. I know he did a long video with Casmo, and you did a few videos with him a while back so im sure he could also probably set you up if you ever feel interested. All i know is that the Strike Eagle has a lot of potential for some more advanced missions in DCS.
..that low level pass right at the end would have us Brits muttering, "flash git!" and tutting into our cuppa tea! Great video, some great low level flying, especially the Globemaster!
GS just hops into an F22 anytime he tires of getting killed in underdog scenarios! Gotta love leisurely inspecting enemy load outs prior to dispatching them.
"merging with the shadow" new phrase for crashing into the ground. Also the Special Forces Team in enemy territory standing in the middle of the road causing a traffic jam...talk about covert operations 😂
The Su-34 is equipped with radar warning receivers (RWR) and other electronic warfare (EW) systems that can detect and identify radar signals emitted by hostile aircraft or ground-based radar systems approaching from the rear. I forgot if you were cold, but that's important to remember when approaching that close to the rear of those 34s.
Hey, those are my hometown boys! 911th Airlift Wing of the Air Force Reserve, based out of Pittsburgh International Airport! They keep on of their old C-130s flight op ready, and they also have a C-17 painted in WWII invasion stripes. And yes, they pull maneuvers like that all the time. Like a little airshow whenever they're out playing around. Awesome to see them in DCS
I can remember the first time I seen a C-17 fly over. Clear back in 1993 at Ft. Gordon, Georgia. I was coming out of one of the places I had to check out of before returning home to Idaho after Commo training for the National Guard.

C-123's did that all the time.
Try riding in the back while they do it. I've never seen so many people puke at one time.
I live near a base that has them. I see very similar stuff probably once a month. Maybe not quite as aggressive but it’s still awesome

You can't fly a transport category aircraft like a fighter--
You are knocking on death's door.
It is a question of knowledge and intelligence.
Good thing that dude changing his tire was already in the squat position... you know he crapped his pants on the fly by
3:35 True stealth. Guy didn’t even notice.
