I always love the way the killers always try and be extra friendly and over co-operative to start with then get more and more irritated the more Columbo investigates....

The bull must have really torn up Hector really really bad....Columbo takes less than a 2 second glance at the body and is immediately disturbed by what he sees.

I love that they don’t treat the officer like a bumbling idiot, they show that he is good in his own right, but Columbo is beyond meticulous which is why he has cause to be suspicious in the first place.

Me too. All the Mexican principals are treated with respect, including all the ranch staff. Pretty progressive for the time when the Frito Bandito was regularly on TV. Columbo is, well, Columbo, and also an outsider who isn't awed by Montoya's reputation and station, which allows him to entertain the idea of Montoya as the killer from the outset. He's also run into arrogant, important killers many times and has a nose for them, just like his dog.

One of the things I really liked about this episode is the general respect it shows towards Mexican culture. Yeah, there's the car accident and corruption played for laughs, but otherwise it feels authentic. Having the rich daughter off at an American college is a great touch

This was a great episode. The Mexican police commander wants Columbo to catch the bullfighter if he is guilty, because he is afraid of losing his job if he launches an investigation into him that leads nowhere.

They don't make these good any more as they don't appeal to a broader audience, more audience more fans means more money, maybe even merchandise, tak the recent super hero movies, there's tons of them right? They sell tickets, blu rays, toys, merch, it's something for adults and kids so they don't limit themselves to only adults or only kids, that would mean lower ticket sales.
It's all about money and all they do today is quick mindless fun movies for as many people as possible so that they have where to bring in more money.

Columbo asks a ranch hand to show him where the murder took place before Columbo has even established there was a murder. Columbus in the 50’s was never more than 10 minutes partly because of programming. There’s hardware and software. The 50’s TVs were mostly hardware and too small so they couldn’t hold longer shows inside them.
Nowadays the software programming and larger memory with teamwork allows you to watch all sizes due to the chips and LEDs and Motorola involvement.
The circuitry and transistors with programming makes the difference to make an overall racism free product.
The primary transistor is the BJT and FET is the modern version of transistor.
The types of BJT are NPN and PNP transistors. Dynamism vs placidity.
The FET is a unipolar device, which means that it is made using either p-type or n-type material as main substrate. It’s a racist free product. The jury convicted on all 3 counts. That should tell you something.
