  • Just past his 32nd birthday and the great Ed Moses wins his last major title....just! A mere 0,02 seconds covered all the medals;the unlucky hurdlers on the day were Danny Harris and Harald Schmid ,who were both given the same time of 47.48,as opposed to Moses's 47.46.One of the greatest hurdle races ever.

Edwin Moses has always intrigued me. A lot of African Americans don't know him. It's weird.
My vote for athlete of the decade was plainly Edwin Moses. While not only, a great athlete, but also a human being who will never be forgotten by not only being physically gifted but giving back to humanity in ways only those of us who look for other positive attributes he possesses can appreciate.
What a human being. Thank you Mr. moses..the GOAT

This race and Rudisha's 2012 Olympic 800 are still at the top of my list. Moses ran "catch me if you can" race, while Rudisha said in the pre-race press conference that there was no viable path to victory for anyone else (and then proved it emphatically the next day). Different approaches to equally spectacular ends!

I too, in my small way, I was accused of doping by my rival racers.
I ran to 3'15 at km, those who accused me he did not like making sacrifices, knew only say "go stronger than me because it makes use of doping."
With the experience I realized that this was a phrase from losers to justify their failures.
