I guess I don’t mind Humble Pie doing covers bc they are mostly not well know by the mainstream at the time and Humble Pie makes these songs their own where Frampton’s cover of a Stone’s classic is overshadowed by the original and is quite lackluster. In addition it occurred to me that Ray Charles’ rendition of I Don’t Need No Doctor is also a cover.

Definitely Humble Pie. Steve Marriot was a great artist.

Cool video but I'd go with Frampton's album. Checked the credits for the Humble Pie record, and almost all the songs are covers.

True they are covers except ‘I’m ready’ I think; sometimes I forget they are mostly or all covers bc they are so ingrained in me as part of me like Heep’s Abominog are mostly covers. I Don’t Need No Doctor by Ray Charles is actually a cover too. I forget who did that song first. I just remember hearing his version as a child way before Humble Pie’s version. I guess I like Rockin the Fillmore more bc it’s a bit more hard and heavy. Thanks again for watching and commenting!😀

@djacobmadrigal It's all good. Music is very subjective and we all have our favorites for diametrically different reasons. A bit of a funny story, my older sister "gifted" me Frampton Comes Alive but it was just an excuse for her to borrow the album and fawn over Frampton's cherubic face.
