Agree with you. All the arguing back and forth takes away some of the enjoyment of the music; if nothing else, argue but keep it private. Fat chance of this happening though with the rise of social media; an industry, so to speak, that thrives in highlighting the worst side of human beings.
Also, 100% agree with you regarding talking about someone who has died. It should be a time of forgiveness and grace as the person lost the battle that, in the end, we will also lose. Just lay down your weapon, and move on as there is no need to pile on someone who is no longer here.
