Like mtbfitz mentioned, Decibels use a logarithmic scale so the difference would become more and more substantial the faster u go. You can safely stay at a noise level of 80 dB for 8 hours a day. Every 3 decibels more half this time. Still on the quieter side as far as helmets go. I actually wouldn't mind trying one out. I've never owned a Schuberth but I hear nothing but good things about them.

Spurge, I really like your reviews better than Antony's reviews, more professional and not hyper, thank you.

Remember the decimal scale is logarithmic so small changes numerically are not so small in reality. The difference between a jet engine and an electric saw is only 20 dB.

    Schuberth C3 lite & Schuberth C3 .. Same helmet?

Do you know how to remove the top air intake piece? I need to clean it up because it’s full of bugs…

What are you talking about with the pin lock

What’s up with he C4? You had it on close out. I’ve bought two from you and love them. Curious what’s up.

Schuberth has upgraded to C4 Pro, my guess is they are not making anymore legacy C4s. It's possible they could updating them too?

What’s up with the C4? Well, for one thing if you bought the helmet like I did to have the intergraded SC1 Sena com system its complete garbage! I bought it thinking the firmware would get an update- it never did. Good luck reaching out to Sena or Schuberth. But nevertheless its my best helmet but not the complete package.:.

Ivan B I did get it with the comms system. It’s not very good. Hard to hear.

As another mentioned, the C4 is just being replaced by the C4 Pro and C4 Pro Carbon. -DrewZilla

@@RevZilla Okay, but the C3 Pro was discontinued for the C4. Why did they bring it back at a price point which is near to the C4 Pro?
I can understand the concept of an 'entry-level' Schuberth, and the C3 Lite will do nicely there, however, something tells me Schuberth shot themselves in the foot with the C4, which was supposed to be better than the C3 Pro. Now, the C4 is gone and the C3 Pro is back. Huh?

I was wondering if you would go with a C3 lite or and Rpha 90?

    • @RevZilla
      @RevZilla  5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

It really comes down to fit and noise. The RPHA 90 has a slightly narrower fit, and the C3 Lite has a slightly rounder fit. The C3 Lite is also a bit quieter. -DrewZilla

Will you be doing a review on the new Ruroc Atlas?

Probably not unless they can reach full production and wider distribution. Pretty sure they sell direct at the moment. -DrewZilla

Nope, the C3 Lite also has the spoiler. I just checked a few to be sure. -DrewZilla

If so, why do photos of C3 Lite on revzilla website show the helmet without any spoiler?

BTW, is 'C3 Lite' the same helmet as 'C3 Basic' that we have here in Europe?

@@kiryllis5823 The photos on-site should be updated soon. Those were the photos that Schuberth provided before we received the production version. It's not exactly the same as the C3 Basic, as the C3 Lite is DOT-rated for the US market. Otherwise it seems pretty similar. -DrewZilla

This is Labeled as "Held by Schuberth" in Europe. In the US, no one knows Held so they call it Schuberth Light. Kind a Marketing gimmick! You want a Schuberth get the real one.

@@RevZilla the comment stated this is labeled as a Held helmet in Europe, per the comment "Held by Schuberth." Kind of like Mission Archery is owned by Mathews and get some of Mathews tech but are a cheaper offshoot.
