Coming in late to the game, just received my C3 in the mail today. I'm going from a big wind shield Honda ST1100 to a tiny wind shield BMW R1100RS. First impressions from a 20 minute test ride, I think I'll need a little extra padding on my dome to keep it off my brow. Tried folding a wash cloth double and double again but that is a little too much. Might have bought a slightly too large size. I got a 58-59 large and I'm probably a medium.
Good review overall but the comparison is "apples-to-oranges" since one is a full-face while the other is a modular. The rigidity of the modular unit will always be compromised when riding "flipped up" as it's not designed nor engineered that way.
Pinlocks are brilliant, in my humble opinion, worth every penny no issue with foggy up and I've found no issues at night. Not having to be concerned about the visibility through your helmet is great.

Flip up helmet is not to be used open, so the flexing won't be an issue. Keep closed and locked in its' place all the time.
