Thanks for this video. It helped me Mae up my mind to pick up a TourBox (from link on your site) to add to my new Speed Editor. I.m starting Davinci from scratch after 15 years with FCP (just too many crashes.) I figure since I remaking my workflow, I might as well make it even more difficult. Even with. screen shot, I'm having trouble seeing how you mapped TourBox. When you get a chance, can you send me a clear screenshot or something to help me out? Cheers.
I'm also left handed, and like the RV Addict, I've been frustrated finding peripherals that make my work flow easier. While I've found a Razor Naga MMO that is designed for left handers, the one I have, has side buttons that are too small to hit without looking closely at what I doing. This TourBox might be a better solution. Thanks for sharing your workflow using these two tools. I'm in love with the Speed Editor, perhaps the TourBox will be my second love.
Yeah I really thought it was going to be a one or the other type situation between the tour box and speed editor but using both has been a dream. Especially as a lefty
I think that the Davinci speed editor need the tourbox wheel characteristics to be perfect. And as the LogitechMX master you could just press a buttom to having the high speed wheel rotation!
Great video to explain how to utilize these tools to ease the long hours of editing. I agree with you on your previous video that, every time there is a blank in mind whenever I started a blank sheet of timeline for new video production. Thank you for introducing tour box, as my workload right now is only 5% of yours, but is a good info that further down the road we do not spend too much time struggling by using only keyboard. :)
As a left handed person i have been looking for a tool to better serve during editing, the Tourbox is the tool , i will buy one now! Thanks for the tips on making editing more efficient. Great Video
I'm having a hard time understanding how the speed editor makes editing faster. Like something like ripple delete I have that mapped to q and w on my keyboard and the speed editor it feels like a longer process because you have to lift your right hand off the wheel to press split.
Great video! To me the tourbox it's so useless. I bought it thinking it was going to improve my speed, already knowing all my keyboard shortcuts, and it just fell short. The only thing that could've been great on the tourbox was the knob and wheel and they are just meh. On the other hand, the Speed Editor is magic when used on the cut page!!!
Its not like there are trim in and trim out buttons on the speed editor :D so you dont have to cut, cut and ripple delete

I've literally been thinking abt buying Da Vinci Studio (because it comes with the speed editor) so this is great, thank you!
Thanks for watching! Crazy good deal to buy the speed editor and get resolve Studio for free!
Hi! do you use the tour box to the color page too? can you customize for both in davinci? thanks!

Watching it multiple time > multi cam shot is good > multi device > authentic
If u have to pick only one between tourbox vs quick editor which will you get
Speed Editor for sure. The scroll wheel is the best thing about it. I’d pay $300 just for the wheel haha
да ладно... а я думал удалить со сдвигом можно и на Blackmagic Speed Editor, я очень разочарован что у него нет такой кнопки...
Man, I wish I had one of those...
