    I just bought my first Mazda in January. It is a Mazda 3 Grand Touring Sport Hatchback and I have to say that I absolutely love it!! If you are thinking of buying one you will not be disappointed at all. It is not only good looking, but so much fun to drive. I test drove a Civic and a Corolla and there is no comparison. I've owned Toyotas, Hondas, and Nissans and I regret not getting into a Mazda sooner. I currently also own an Acura MDX 2012 and it has been sitting in my garage since I bought the Mazda 3 because this car is so much fun to drive and I just love it!!!

    I just got my 3s Touring and it rocks hard. This car handles better than any car I've ever owned in the snow. If you want a car that handles as well if not better than a 4 wheel drive car. This car is the one. Completely balanced throughout the entire frame of the car.

    I bought a 2015 mazda 3 get so far it seems great in space for a hatchback, it drives very nice I did test drive various dealership before buying the mazda 3 gt, it's worth it very go in price roughly 380 I got add ons so came to 400 a month, the GPS and navigation system is amazing it does not lag very fast and efficient plus it comes with base surround sound, seats are lot improved compared to other generation mazda, trust me I have both new mazda before, this is my 3rd new mazda, I did do reviews and compared to my old 2012 mazda 3, torque is amazing on mazda 3, u have to try it to believe it.

    I totaled my 2012 ford focus titanium last month (the other driver's false). It reaches a point where I would either buy the 2015 or this mazda 3. It turns out that I will pick the mazda now because I want to have experience from different thing. the 2015 is same chassis and engine. It is a good car and I love driving it. some design cue even far exceed the mazda such as the bold design of the interior, all one touch windows, touch handles (touch pad to lock and grab handle to unlock), dct that almost maintenance free (no fluid change) , tivct gdi engine that make 5 hp more than the 3 in 2.0L. clusters are analog instead of mostly digital in the 3, larger screen, ambient lighting, more small storages, fold flat rear seats, torque vectoring, z shape hand brake,18in summer wheels that grip like an 4wd.... the reason why I pick the 3 just because that 2015 is a refresh not an major improvement on its MFT system. also no new engines like the 2.5L in the mazda. That car is just at the sweet spot once the A3 is out of hatchback business and the VW no longer have the golf 2.5. I know that the 3 will be faster in straight but will not as nimble as the focus on braking and turning. I m still very looking forward to drive it so I can compare both cars. ofcourse, 3 also has its good points but it seems too long to write it all in the comment section,...

    I have a 2015 SP25 on order. I hear many complaints re the "Stop Start" engine cut off is a nuisance, but the worst part was, is they don't a have a choice, drivers can't disable that function. Now I'm having second thoughts.

    • @Driver6M
      @Driver6M 9 ปีที่แล้ว +8

      It's not a problem. What most reviews don't mention is the 'stop start' will not function if the brake pedal is pressed lightly when stopped or if the car is stopped in a turn. It's pretty smart. It's arguably one of the best stop start systems anyhow because the ECU stops one of the cylinders within the engine in the exact position for an easy restart unlike most other systems. It's very quick. I'm sure you can find more info on Mazda's unique 'stop start' system on TH-cam somewhere.

      ***** Hi mate i have SP25GT 2015. I also thought STOP START will be a bit of glitch. The car starts in nano seconds even before you fully realise the brake and also this function doesn't come into play till the brake is engaged 100% and steering wheel is in straight position. you can also dis-engage the function without realising the brake, by just slightly turning the steering wheel. Its good car to drive.

    • @justinyau3560
      @justinyau3560 9 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Less busy interior??? I think u have it reverse..lol. The new 2014 & 2015 Mazda 3s are less cluttered & very clean/basic look. Looks are like luxury styling. Like the BMW, Audi, etc..
      Very European feel & hardly cheap or Japanese about it..lol

    • @bryane2514
      @bryane2514 9 ปีที่แล้ว

      Justin Yau I see what you mean.

    • @justinyau3560
      @justinyau3560 9 ปีที่แล้ว

      Bo Dangers No worries:) Just didnt understand your point. And there was another person I talked to that bought the 2013 older model. He said he likes the red/blue light theme like what U said? I believe its lighted up blue when U open the side door lights. and also lighted up blue under the compartment glove box on the passenger side & also the driver side. So that indeed is a cool look I have to admit which the new 2014/2015 models do not have.
      But I must tell U that they do have the speedometer lighted up in red like a heart beat & its pulsating and asking U to press the Push start button which is so cool...lol.
      I believe it is on every model & U only notice it obviously at night. But its more noticeable if U turn off the Door lights.
      Honestly I LOVE everything about my 2014 Mazda 3. From the interior to the Exterior. I would not buy any 2013 model Mazda 3 or lower just because of the stupid smiley face that it had..lol. Just for that reason alone..lol. People called it the Joker car..lol.
      That other guy that loved his 2013 Mazda 3. Said he loved the Dashboard interior better than the new one. Because I guess he liked it cluttered. Personally for me I would take the European Luxury look & its far more easier to use. In this case simple is more better. Love how its the only non luxury car to have the I-pad touch screen on the dash just like BMW or Audi. And they also are the only non luxury brand to have the control know just like the Audi & BMW. In anycase the new models look more expensive both inside & out.
      If U like cluttered & alot of buttons to make it harder to get use to. Thats fine by me. I do not mind it being a little cluttered & having alot of functions. As long as its practical. And the worse part I hated about the interiors of the old models were the hard plastics that were used which made it so cheap..lol.
      But the older models had those huge sporty speedometers & RPM circular gauges that made it look good. Bigger is better.
      The newer one is only a singular one & isnt as big. But the digital numbers are well lighted & the numbers are big so its just fine. Also the RPM is digital. Thats my model. If U get top of the line the RPM isnt digital. But the actual Speedometer is with the Km/h or M/h. Also the top of the line has some plastic screen that pops out on the dast & theres a digital readout on it. Honestly it looks cool but I wouldnt want that cause I know it would probably break over time&the plastic might crack or break with the colder & warmer weather over time. Especially with the sun shining on it..lol.

    • @bryane2514
      @bryane2514 9 ปีที่แล้ว

      Haha I fell in love with the happy alien looking thing once I laid my eyes on it!
      I agree about the speedometers. I was surprised that the 2014 had only one. I gotta check out the pulsating red light sometime.
      Interior wise, as long as it is mostly in the color black, i'll be happyl Oh and another thing I liked about the older model is that there's no push to start. That ruins an experience of a car for me.

    • @justinyau3560
      @justinyau3560 9 ปีที่แล้ว

      Bo Dangers U dont like Push to start..lol? Most new cars & especially luxury cars have this..lol. Makes it so cool & U dont need a damn sharp keys poking me in my pockets..lol.
      Everything about the new redesign of all the Mazda lineups are premium looking&looks so expensive than it actual is. They dont use cheap plastics like the old one.The old one looked so cheap. If U actual been inside a BMW or Audi or Benz or Lexus. U would notice the looks of the interior especially the Mazda 3 look pretty much the same. Its the only car in its class that is like that. And I have A Deep Crystal Blue Mazda 3.Interior is all dark with some chrome or depending on the model that Black shiny Piano plastic thats smooth&shiny to the touch:) They have some rubbery materials that R soft to the touch & dont look cheap & some carbon fibers that look cool. Actual top of the line model & I think u have to buy their 2 tone red color which looks amazing. The interior of that cars leather is Half white/black which makes it look amazing. But I'm like U I'm sure U can have the option in having the seats all black leather. They do have them all black&all the leather including the steering wheel (if leather) has red stitching which makes it look amazing.
      I have that on my steering wheel.But even the non-leather seats are comfortable.They are tight & hold me in place but soft. But I heard if U are really overweight U might feel like the seats are uncomfortable.But if that's the case the older Mazdas were smaller in size both interior&exterior&also trunk space. So I would assume the old Mazda seats were smaller. Especially the back seats.
      This Mazda looks Aggressive especially the front grill&the interior is amazing.
      Also I like that the RPM is in digital form. Even if its small it is lighted up really bright so U can see everything. Same as the I-pad touch screen.
      Also the single Speedometer is actual copied from the luxury sports car for the McClaren brand.
      So thats impressive:)

    There are millions of people that buy a car for it's reputation, just like people that vote democrat no matter who is running. The Focus has been slipping in quality and the Corolla is simply a bland driving experience. The Mazda actually has the best build quality but still falls behind in sales. Makes no real sense. I would buy a Camry in the 2015-17 years over any Mazda 6 though.

Get the word out to Mazda if you want the functionality of at least being able to tether your phone to get local searching, weather, traffic, gas prices (the now grey'd out options) back. If you don't complain, you'll be stuck with a GPS that less functional than a $90 portable Garmin. Unacceptable. Mazda Customer Care is 1 (800) 222-5500

      Dude if ur complaining about legroom in the backseat's. That means U R too tall & U need a bigger car. Buy the Mazda 6 or CX5.
      What they need to really fix is how bad the insulation is. Even driving just under 100km on the highway. U can hear the wind noise. I did not test drive the car on the highway so it wasnt noticeable. If U drive in snow U can hear all the slush U ride over if theres a bit of it or if u run over an empty water bottle. U will hear it.
      But saying all that it doesnt bother me that much & I listen to the music loud:)
      Also packaging/options they give U is shit for Mazda Canada. Mazda USA is way better cause more packaging/options cause the states is a bigger market.

    • @justinyau3560
      @justinyau3560 9 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      And dude Mazda would sell more not because of legroom with the backseats. Cause people could buy the 6 or CX5. Its been noted its cause of the road noise & also trunk space. And another thing was that it only came Manuel transmission for the lower models with the smaller engine. Consumers couldnt get fully loaded & a big engine with the Manuel Trans. But I believe 2015 all models have it now:)
      Also the price for top of the line model for this class is just too much. Which is why they aren't selling. U can get more for less money with another brand.
      Also the fact Mazda is a small Jap company. Its hard to compete with the other Big names who have loyal fanboys like Toyota&Honda who are still brainwashed in thinking the competition isnt catching up..lol. Toyota is still reliable. Honda is just ok & uses cheap plastics even with their new models..lol

    The reason why the Mazda 3 lags behind the Hyundai Elantra and Toyota Corolla is because Mazda cars generally have low quality interiors and numb handling.
    The 2015 Hyundai Elantra is the best quality vehicle in this category. Go read the 2015 JD Vehicle Quality Study. The 2015 Hyundai Elantra came 1st in terms of vehicle reliability.
