I did this on my TUB doors with help. Doors came off easily (although heavy). Frame rails were over-glued and super hard to come off. Like almost impossible.... But one we got them off, white vinegar was fabulous to soften and remove the side and bottom frame adhesive nightmare.
To remove the plastic anchors, it is easier to screw in a screw a few turns and then pull it out with pliers. That works even if the top of the anchor has broken off.
What if you want to reuse the frame and glass? I’m ripping out and replacing the own due to mold, but having a really hard time dismantling the frame in a way that I can use again. The door is off but the two side panels won’t budge
I occasionally see a situation where someone removes a framed enclosure and puts up a shower curtain, but 95% of the time we do these removals it is so frameless glass can be installed. Frameless glass is stronger, prettier, and makes the shower feel bigger while you are inside.
Just found ur channel and watched them all tonight!!! Wish u would make many more videos!!!
Thanks for making this video - my dad and I're gonna take down 2 shower screens so this helps alot 🙂
So helpful and well explained. Thanks!
I'm glad you made this video.
It's so informative and useful.

What and how did you replace it with? Thanks for the removal video very helpful
My frame on the bottom of my shower door is loose on one side and dragging, any videos on how to fix that?

Just what I needed. Thank you.

None of these videos demonstrate how to replace the extruded aluminum channel. Why not show how to replace parts rather than a complete tear-out?
Can you use the shower without doors
What replaced it? Shower curtain?

I hate shower frames. A 1000 curses whoever came up with shower frames
