Thank you for doing this video. You were very clear and to the point. I opted for trying to clean up my shower frame and glass but taking everything apart and starting over from scratch was key. We did replace the glazing and 2 screws that striped being removed but could have never gotten that far had your video not prepped me so well. Thank again. I’ll post a picture of my final product as soon as its all cleaned up!
Thank you for this video!! I'm doing lots of remodeling and wasn't sure if I could handle this job - now, I not only feel like I can, but I'm excited to do it!! Thanks again!!
Thank you so much! My current shower tracks are brass and I have wanted to change them but thought I had to buy all new glass etc so I have been putting off doing it because I figured I would have to actually hire someone to come and do it. This is going to be so much easier and cheaper and I can do it myself.
Looks great! Love having to improvise bits and pieces. If one thing can be added it is important that the drill bits used are appropriate for stone and ceramic tiles. Good job.
Your video was so great! Easy to follow and perfect on the filming. The only thing I wish was included is the 'how to' on the cutting of the angles of the rails, but I can Google that. Thank you so much!!

Very informative! I have a bronzed color frame and I'm changing everything out to brushed nickel. I've done everything except the shower door. Thank you for sharing this video!
On my new door it had a small channel at the bottom of the door to pack water away that ran down the door. You need to install the channel on a slight angle so that the water drains easily.
My brother in law re-caulked my mom's shower, and she is going to keep it new-looking and mildew-free by vowing to never take a shower again. She's switched to baths.

Hi Stephen. The only problem I ran into was a few of the screws in the old frame I removed were rusted in and wouldn't come out with a screwdriver. I ended up using vise grips to get them out. I had no problems on the new frame installation.

Hi! Can you describe in a little more detail the "plunger" in the old door pivot shown at ~0:40? The video doesn't show the actual removal of the old door, so I can't tell what goes on there. The top of my shower door looks just like that, and mine seems quite attached to the top of the frame. I do seem to be able to lift the door upwards, but I'm not getting the feeling that it detaches after that. ...And if I do get door detached, can I get it back in without disassembling the frame? The reason I'm messing with it is because the bottom of the door has a tendency to slip out of the pivot. It seems that the hole at the bottom that maintains the pivot has worn away, and I'm trying to figure out if it's possible to replace that bottom section. If you have any advice or suggestions, please let me know! Thanks!
I just pushed down on the plunger in the top of the door until it came out of the hole in the frame then I was able to remove the door. I'm not sure if worn plungers can be replaced, you'd have to ask a shower door expert.

All of the tile and the floor are still good.
Question about the vinyl T-sweep that attaches to the bottom of some shower doors...when the shower door is closed, should that piece of vinyl end up on the inside of the door frame or the outside?

I replaced the clear push-in vinyl and no matter how hard I try, I can't get the stuff in! The fatter side is nearly impossible and the thinner stuff practically falls out.
