It is unanimous! We ALL want the Weekender back! Pay close attention Lowe's! Great job and your instructions are so easy to understand. Monica love the new hair color too!
At 10:52 you mention (again) that the sliding door track was screwed into the plastic shower threshold...that is risky since water is likely to get in there over time. IF you do drill it in place, please add a blob of clear mildew resistant silicone into the hole you just drilled and under the track to (hopefully) prevent water going into the hole over time - do all this before screwing it in place. Other glass door manufacturers and installers advise to use double sided tape to fasten that sliding door track (guide) in place, then silicone around it.
Monica, please work on a shower stall that can be enclosed to provide a “steam-like” experience without an actual steam unit. I have concerns about dealing with builder grade shower walls. How do you deal with the steam if only part of the wall is tiled? How does one deal with the ceiling light above the shower stall? What kind of steam escape can be installed when all the shower doors don’t reach the ceiling? What kind of fan must be installed to deal with so much steam once the shower door is opened? So glad you can work magic to a builder grade bathroom. Love your work!!! 👍😉💕🤩
Thank you. You bothe made it look so straightforward. I am not sure if I can find the frameless doors you put in here in Australia. Will go and do some searching.
Monica was missing you!!!! When are you coming back with a Weekender new season? xxx PS Love your bathroom (remembering the initial video, your kids must be really grown up ;-) ) and the new shower door it's gorgeous
To install a bypass double door on those plastic showers kits with bathtub is it the same steps as far as drilling on the side for the rails? If I knock on the side of my shower walls it feels hollow inside. How would I install the side rails here, do I get longer screws?
What about that space by the fixed door where the frame is taller than the fiberglass shower? It’s okay to leave that open? I ask because I’m installing a shower door and I have space on each side where the frame is taller than the fiberglass
I have a tub shower with tile at top and fiberglass wall tub and want to install bypass tub shower doors, but at a height higher than the fiberglass wall unit. Will thus kit wirk fir me? What name brand kit did you use and will the kit work for a bathtub?
I desire to change my shower door..especially after it mysteriously shattered one night. This seems so easy but I am nervous about the measuring, so I don't know what size door to order. I will have my sons to help. I'm gonna give it a go...😃
We are planning exactly what you did here Inc,using maiming it taller. What did you do about the gap from the top of the shower line where the tile starts to the top of the vertical bar? It’s at least an inch. The door looks great but I’m concerned about that gap and water coming out both sides above where the shower liner ends.
I actually bought the dated shower from someone who has upgraded their shower...can I use the existing glass for a new frame? Thank you for this video?
Can the sliding door be put on the outside of rail. The shower head is on the right side of shower but so is the toilet. No room to enter on that side.
Monica! Your bathroom still looks fantastic. The new shower door is great. I miss The Weekender! This has gone on long enough...come on Lowes. This is torture!
What do you do if your toilet happens to be on the same wall as your shower head/control lever? I would have to have the stationary glass panel next to the tub and shower head/lever and the sliding side on the opposite end, or I would not have easy walk in/walk out access to the shower - because the toilet would be in the way..... Yet, if I had the sliding panel on the opposite end of the shower head, wouldn't that expose the sliding door to water leakage between the glass panels when the shower is running?
Please bring back the weekender. Monica is great. More Monica.
PLEASE bring back The Weekender! I need some Monica Magic in my life!!!
We miss Monica. Bring the Weekender back please ❤️

Uh they said to add silicone to the hole
That door looks so much better! Great job :)
Thank you! Taking on this project now and you have built up my confidence.
Great video guys, this is definitely going to help me
What a great video. The best one by far on this topic!
Wow ..!! that was cool. It definitely looks beautiful with the new glass door.
Taking off the top part of the old frame looked kinda fun.
Very elegant and useful work, thank you very much
Great job 👍
I've been wondering for some time now how this is actually done, then I came across your video.
Great job once again
I have always wanted a shower door like this- lets in max light for us visually impaired folks!

Great tips actually. I would be installing some a week from today. Thanks so much for the tips 👍💙👌

This looked really easy. Easier than I thought

Thank you guys, this video was incredibly helpful!
Very helpful video about what I'm confused about is when I go to look up shower doors or kits everything has a set size how do I get a custom size?
Monica was missing you!!!! When are you coming back with a Weekender new season? xxx

Monica this is great!! I would love to try this for my shower.
Do you drill through the glass when attaching fixed panel to the wall track?
I wonder if this could be done with just one person for the thick floating shower doors..?
Very nice video!!! Thank you!!!
Great tutorial!
Thanks - hope it was helpful!
Excellence job I love it.
Great job!
Love it, thank you
We see all your beautiful works from the State of Kuwait in the Middle East
This is very helpful.

What if the tile above our shower is about 3/4 inch thinner than the shower wall? Just go up to the shower walls?
Oh great, now I want a shower door. :D The installation doesn't look so scary anymore.
Could you do a video installing and building g a barn door?
Love Monica
Beautiful!
Great job
Looks great
what can you do if your shower is an odd width and they dont make shower doors that fit your space?
When will the weekender come back????
Did you use the same glass from the old shower??
Nice job.thanks
That’s a nice door. I’d like to replace mine but I may let Lowes do it.

Can you do a video installing the other shower types?

Quarter or dime will work for the corners
Thanks for the video =)

Love it!
Do your local Stores offer Classes?
Should the rain glass design be on the inside or outside?
inside
thank you very helpful...
Lovely...thank you
Always make it look so darned easy, but stuff always happens in my house!!

It's been a year but....did you figure this out? I'm thinking the fixed panel needs to always be on the same side as the shower head....
I noticed that’s actually her house! I miss the Weekenderrrrr 😢
What cleans it the best?
Is the weekender series coming back????? I hope so
Keep your fingers crossed!
Added to my list cause I haven’t found a shower curtain I liked
Will The Weekender come back with new videos? If your out of ideas, you can come to my house and help my rental. 😂

Mine too!!! Or you can also come to my home!!!
