oops.
I'm not sure if I say anything too useful, but here's some audio for you to have in the background.

I think there were many things that I wanted to mention that I failed to, and if I have the energy, I may add to the description (or someone brings it up).

babe new lambdaxx infodump dropped
Great to see you, Lambda. Congratulations on [SPOILER] winning the tournament!
I would have probably tried to get fully annexed for the "own the least no. of provinces" against Clio. Not sure if that would have counted though.
I actually thought about this too, and I asked the organizers towards the end. Unfortunately, I did not get a response, so I chose to be safe.
The money one should really be "have x ducats with no loans" and a smaller amount.
Finally a face on my favorite EU4 player
finally i've seen lambda
Great explanation on the tournament
I liked the reflection & your input, very interesting only had heard of it’s existence
lamba u are the goat and have taught me so much about eu4 thanks!!
Great vid!
good to see you making eu4 content again, loved your old break downs of eu4
will we see the fastest wc no exploits run with mamluks in this patch from the goat himself?
Very interesting video! It was really insightful hearing all your thoughts about the different challenges and nations. I was a bit confused how you were planning to get 100% loyalty but not the 60& crownland as a pirate nation but thankfully you elaborated more on that later on. Can you even get the clergy gov reform as a pirate nation in 1 hour? If yes the 60& crownland challenge would be free since you get 80% after getting the reform. Tho getting the clergy to 100% loyalty is probably impossible anyways without the noble privilege.
re: clergy reform, idk, but keep in mind given that I have do not tech up as a challenge, I'm incentivized to play slowly to milk as much gameplay as possible as early as possible before I start getting severely out-teched.
Makes sense. Thanks for your answer!@@lambdaxx1
I agree with your comment around the pick and bans not feeling so impactful, banning nations feels pointless without knowing what you are banning them for. I wonder if the format for picks and bans would be improved by making players pick missions first, whilst being given the "theme" of the countries they will pick from after. For example in the second game of the final you would be given the theme "Indian Majors", then select missions, before strategically banning and picking nations based on the missions you have picked, and around the missions the other player has picked. This would lead to far more strategic banning, as well as really having to think about which of the nations they have left available to them will enable them to complete the missions they have selected. Alongside this, it would dissuade players perhaps from selecting missions that all theme around one nation they have in mind - as it can be easily banned.
More lambda content is always nice!
never clicked faster
Lambert lambert what a prick....
Love the content bro, keep it up! 👍
re: first line hmm, fyi I'm on good terms with lambert. I'm not sure if you've had a bad experience with him, but let's not talk poorly about people when it's not so relevant :)
re: second line thank you!
@@lambdaxx1 its a funny quote from witcher 3 :d didnt mean anything bad
@@tariq9755 oops, I was a bit hasty. Thank you for the clarification!
Amazing summary. Do you have any more EU4 videos planned or have you already reached the pinnacle?
I'm not sure if I have any EU4 videos in the shortterm, but I still stream very occasionally! So far, nothing adjacent to EU4 has striked me as something I want to devote time making a video about.
HRE minor can also 100% an Orthodox nation and then force the loser to demand force religion, but that was still an odd choice by opponent when you were Livonian order.
Overall, nice summary and nicely done.
Agreed, it's not as bad now that I think about it. For some reason when I was talking about it, I thought the only way to convert was via conquering, which isn't even how I ended up doing it so...
Do you think it would be better if there were more challenges compared to amount picked ie 12 challenges, pick 10.
I think so -- in general, I think more challenge diversity would have been great!
20:20 decent at eu4 he says
Love the humility and the recap
Thought you could screw Denmark especially if you were a north Germanic nation
Hmm, idk. I think against Denmark, the most important thing is having the navy. So I think any nation with a lot of initial coasts (so they can spam galleys) are the best, or Norway (who happens to be fairly strong navally anyway) since they get a free independence war.
In terms of making the competition more interesting to watch. Would having prepared saves help? So games could start later and the slow 1444 start would be avoided.
Honestly, prepared saves would be a very interesting idea. I don't think I expanded on this, but I did feel that there is only so much one can do realistically in 1 hour from 1444, and so challenges necessarily get stale/boring.
Starting from particular save states would be one way to help add more diversity to the challenges. It is pretty interesting to consider how the save states are communicated though -- are they given on the fly, or are we allowed to "study" it?
Quick question if it's okay to ask. How many hours do you have in eu4?
according to steam, 4579 hours
... there is always asian who doing things much better than you. Nice to see you at last 😊
I feel like it would have made more sense to have the players stream single players games, so that game speed could be part of the competition.
I personally agree with this sentiment. The argument against this, is that it gives casters fewer information to work with -- if this was MP, the casters could hop in and check whatever they want in the country I am playing in.
I had a compromise though, which is to have some script/program that periodically sends the latest save files which the casters can open locally.
comment for the algorithm
You're Asian? That's explain a lot 😅 greeting's from Poland, lets talk about Chopin then
Hello, xD what the hell was this MP. MP should just be about bullying the other players.
(at least Stackwipe the English would be something I can agree on)
how about make France not exist ;)
Couldn't you just lose the game(get full annexed) for the least amount of provinces? You'd own 0 provinces and since you don't restart the rest of your points remain.
I actually thought about this too, and I asked the organizers towards the end. Unfortunately, I did not get a response, so I chose to be safe.
Setting a real world time limit while game speed isn't reliable is pretty bad imo. They should rather give in-game time limits.
1444-1470 or something.
Just wear sunglasses if you want anonymity 😎
Always found fake glasses pretty cringe as a glasses wearer. Maybe sunglasses inside are also a bit cringe, but if you own it then it can go full circle and be cool again
I considered it, but I feel uncomfortable wearing sunglasses in general, especially indoors. Honestly, glasses don't really provide any anonymity, it just gives me one layer of comfort.
I always thought you are a bearded caucasian for some reason. Almost nordic...
