Maplestory 49k Night Lord Reboot Black Mage solo

I started this solo progression character during the Savior hyperburn on a very old account with the sheer intention of soloing normal Lucid, but a decade of powercreep allowed me to push through all the way to Black Mage. I didn't even know there were bosses beyond Lucid. Honestly, the process of learning and executing low damage solos on all the arcane river bosses was a blast.
I started practicing this boss for fun fairly early into my progression, but I started seriously practicing once I had around 170 bps. After making some minor upgrades, popping black heart, fatal strike, and getting 1.1x AF from event, I had around 217 bps, which unfortunately meant I was a bit overgeared. I do think I DPSed very well in phase 2 and phase 3 though, and minor DPS losses could have easily added an extra burst cycle (~3 minutes) to the clear. However, I could have improved phase 3 DPS more by trying to be in black curse more, and I could have also improved phase 4 bursts by swapping to white aura (to get black curse).
I think Night Lords for the most part have a balanced Black Mage matchup. The only disappointing part is phase 4, which due to its constant shields, I cannot really break through outside burst. This creates a very weird scenario where DPSing is not rewarded in a low damage run. Nevertheless, they still have a good matchup in phase 4 because of the condensed burst... it's just that the phase itself is quite boring and without much skill expression beyond playing black curse during burst (which is super hard for me especially because I was very laggy -- my Krrr ring would take up to 2 seconds or so to register).
