What if I told you,I was refused entry into a Hindu temple compound of 100square meters, out of the touristic path,in Bali,if I am not wearing a loin cloth around my waist.
Refuse entry to Beijing's 600 years-old-Forbidden city equals stifled freedom of expression.etc
This is demagoguery,an extreme oversimplication of my human rights choice. And scapegoating.
Righteousness for Dummies.
They try to disrespect the local
and will cry like a wolf
Aye Man! I’m American. I got rights. I got freedom of expression. I got freedom running in my vein, you know what I mean, man ?
Grotesque.
How about Disneyland barring visitors dressed up as or just dressed in ways reminiscent of a character?!
Would they enter a church or a mosque dressed like that? It's called the Forbidden City for a reason.
I would like to refer to one comment I saw yesterday, "China respects your freedom of dressing in public, have you done the same to the centuries old solemnly Forbidden City."
That is indeed one hell of a good rebuttal.
Go take your "freedom of expression" somewhere else. Their country, their rules.
This lot of so call artists ask respect from others, but show absolutely no respect for other people's culture and tradition what bunch of hypocrites!
If they enter Iran, Saudi Arabia, or any Muslim country, what will the reaction of the authorities or the general public will be? If they walk down the UK high street, they will be mocked and teased.
Maybe they should go to the middle east dressed like that to express their rights of expression
