Your video production and editing skills are exceptional. Know it ties a lot of work and talent to produce the high quality videos you give us so thanks.
Wow ~ Congratulations on arriving in a new country and embarking on an extraordinary journey! The wind there is so strong, I can imagine that you didn't get a good sleep there! Although the desert there is so beautiful, it is also a bit scary because I am afraid of getting lost or lack of water, or monsters may appear! Well, I've probably been influenced by a lot of movies! Some trees look like open palms from a distance. Perhaps they were transformed by the gods in Greek mythology who came here thousands of years ago! You are lucky, you arrived late but saved the food, maybe God really helped you! I have to say that you had the same lunch again this episode, which is rare. Congratulations! The sunset and starry sky there are particularly beautiful, thank you for sharing! 👍😍🙌
People don't realize how hard it is to walk in Sand Dunes. It's like walking in thick deep snow and makes hiking in the high mountains seem easy. I've done it and was surprised at how difficult it was and how much energy it takes. You two are very fit.
Never realized how beautiful the Namibian desert looked, Carols new toy (lens) looks like she’ll be able to take breath taking photos…enjoy your visit and Thanks for keeping us entertained with your beautiful videos.👍👍
I'm a desert-dweller from Arizona in the USA. You don't see a drastic drop in night temps in the desert in the summer. That would go for the summer in the desert of Namibia as well. Make sure to drink water even when you are not thirsty.
Very nice video of the Namib desert. Excellent drone work! I was there on the motorcycle in January 2011. They had just outlawed motorcycle entry into the Park area and we had to hire a driver and Landrover. A flash flood caused the gullies to fill (no bridges) and the Landrover tried to cross one and drowned the Diesel engine. Later on the road to Windhoek I tipped over the motorcycle in a flooded gully and drowned my Blackberry phone and Nikon camera. 😞
Have always admired your versatility, sense of adventure, trying new things and not minding going back to basics! This is amazing. Carole that was such a good choice of scarf colour 😁👍🥰
So nice to see you guys getting out of your comfort zone; thank you for taking us with; I really commend you for keeping fit, or none of these trips would be possible; beautiful dunes, landscape, and temp; awesome vlog guys; happy travels :)
Very interesting desert scenes. The area with the old dead trees reminds me of some Salvador Dali paintings! I've learned to appreciate the beauty and life in desert environments, but they are harsh places to visit and you have to be prepared!
There is definitely a unique feeling being in these kind of deserts, but as you mentioned you also feel a sense of danger for sure with the extreme temps
Bom dia! Your videos are next level. Obrigado! You rough it in places I will likely never visit. Carol is obviously a Brasileira…. Doesn’t matter if you are in the most remote sandy dusty place on Earth…Carol will be dressed like she just walked out of a fashion boutique.
Thanks for this. I live in South Africa next to Namibia so I have quite a few friends who have traveled there. Your footage is definitely the best I have ever seen of the country. Really outstanding. I look forward to seeing more.🎉
Hey guys!! Big fans from South Africa 🇿🇦 and welcome to Southern Africa ! Your car is actually called a ‘bakkie’ 😅😂 Any chance that you gonna visit South Africa 🇿🇦?
Wow, that's an amazing episode Chris & Carol. Namibia looks great. Always liked your videos. You keep it clutter free & no nonsense. Keep showing us the world. Thanks.
Great video with beautiful photography 😀 I did a similar trip in August 2005, nice to see it hasn't changed at all. Temperatures in the winter are around 26c during the day but drop to freezing at night which is better for sleeping and it's dry so easier to spot the animals. Happy memories 😊
I am hoping that you guys will eventually end up in Cape Town & Johannesburg, South Africa after visiting Namibia in March of 2024❤❤❤I really LOVE your new amazing video today’s in great joy & peace 2024❤❤❤
Congratulations to you guys for heading Windhoek, Namibia to rent this new remarkable Pickup truck in the Southern part of Africa to tours these amazing deserts in March of 2024❤❤❤
I would be interested in knowing more about how you got from Morocco to Namibia. Must have been a trip and a half. I, for one, love travel day videos. It's all about the journey, not just the destinations.
We went to Lisbon but we stayed 4 days there and had a break, just did laptop work and met Chris’ parents. From Lisbon we got a connection flight in Angola to namibia
I loved these videos about Namibia. Bought back great memories of visiting these locations. You would love the Okavango in Botswana. Your videos are awesome! Thank you!
Well done, excellent photography and a true reflection of Sossusvlei. I love this place and have visited it several times...your video brought back good memories, thank you.
Absolutely breathtaking! Thank you so much for sharing your experiences so far. It takes me back to travels with my husband in Tanzania in the 80’s. I hope you move on to that country. After seeing your video of travels in the 4x4 so far, makes us want to visit Namibia. It looks so beautiful and unspoiled. If you do move on to Tanzania, I would be happy to give some recommendations as to where to visit. Thank you so much for taking us back to Africa thru your travels. ❤
What a gorgeous place. You are brave souls..driving alone in the middle of nowhere. Chris your shoulders are crispy looking. What a lovely adventure! Omg the sky at night..just like in the arabian desert! Loved the drone shots when u were driving..just amazing!
Namibia was part of South Africa back in the day, and we had a army base there, we used to have to run up and down dune7(big daddy} also leopard crawl up an down as part of our training
Welcome to the Southern Part of Africa in Windhoek, Namibia to tours this amazing African country in March of 2024❤❤❤I really LOVE your new video today’s in great joy 2024❤❤❤
Guys, I don’t know if you’re still in Nam but, drones are a big no no in the national parks ( you even filmed the sign saying so ). The fines are high and equipment is confiscated. This applies across most of Southern Africa ( I’m not sure about Moz ). Best to declare it when you enter and have it sealed which they check when you leave.
Thanks you guys so much for this new remarkable video today’s from the amazing deserts in Windhoek, Namibia to shows this remarkable places in Southern Africa 2024❤❤❤
Fantastic! We have not seen much of Namibia so looking forward to more videos from you. Great camping/car set up too. Stunning scenery! 👍✌️oh yes, walking up sand dunes.... hard to walk a normal step so we found in the Sahara, its best to shuffle short paces which digs your toes in the front. Running down the dune looked great.
I've been following you folks for ages. Great to see you in the wondeful country of Namibia. I have been and LOVE it, Must see Etosha. (PS., We were told Namibia gravel roads eat tyres. Sure enough, we got a puncture, but we just put the spare on!).
Nice to see you guys in Namibia. I've done 2 self drives there. 10 days is definitely not long enough! You really should spend a minimum of 14 days there to really get to see the country especially Damaraland. People don't realize how large a country it is and as you are learning, the distances are quite far between places and take longer than google maps suggests, especially if you want to stop and take photos.
Nice to see you guys cooking. Carol is super excited. Just wondering Chris…30:25 has Carol ever thought of freelancing for National Geography?🤔 She is a real pro.👌🏾 Wise investment on the camera. Can’t wait to see your expressions at Safari. PS: Carol, please don’t try to go out and feed the animals.😂😱🫶🏻Not your regular nap cats and dogs.🐈🐕😂🥰🫶🏻🇬🇧 Dirty water #SMELLYVISION 😂

You guys have the best travel channel ever.
Wow that's quite the complement, thanks!
They really are..consistently great content!
Yeah. Their Peru videos gave me the courage to book a trip there in May 😊

It's a killer, super exhausting!
Yes i think walking in snow is easier frankly!

Carole that was such a good choice of scarf colour 😁👍🥰
Cheers, we didn't think about the fact that it would match this place when she bought the scarf in Marrakesh, a nice coincidence lol
@@JumpingPlaces so much better than the green one! 😂
The colours of the namib - wow
Congratulations on arriving in a new country and remarkable journey, Chris and Carol!
Thank you! 😃
Awesome video. My three highlights were Chis running down the dune, Carol filming the animals close up , and that amazing star studded night sky.😍

You must camp at Sesriem Campsite, can then drive to Sossusvlei a lot earlier. We watch the sunrise from the top of Dune 45 on our honeymoon
