South Africa is definitely the most famous country for wildlife viewing, and your itinerary was well organized!
That cute musical instrument is great for little kids, and those statues have an exotic feel!
For some reason, the elephants and giraffes in your video look so friendly and so cute!
The deer can indeed be called Bambi, it comes from a 1942 American movie!
The hotels there are so special, you can see endless beautiful scenery, and it feels very exciting to stay there!
You guys made that lion angry because it wanted to sleep but was disturbed by you, haha!
Great travel sharing, thank you very much! 👍😍🙌
Lol, yeah someone stood up in the vehicle to take a picture and the lion got annoyed!
@@JumpingPlaces Yes, that lion’s expression told me, haha! Thank you very much for your reply, you are the best! 👍👍👍
I can only imagine how exciting it must have been to see the big male lion lunge and roar. Great filming and music.
Nothing beats a good safari. Footage from that new lens is looking awesome!
Couldn't agree more!
Congratulations to you guys for your 2nd new remarkable video this week from Cape Town, South Africa in March of 2024 to shows these amazing places & safari in Southern Africa 2024❤❤❤
What beautiful intro. Awesome animals in the wild park. Thanks for sharing your journey through South Africa.
What a wonderful experience and the tent accommodation was beautiful! ❤
How beautiful is our country!!!!!So proud!😊
I went to Kruger last December. Seeing the big animals in Africa is a must for anyone who likes to travel or just loves animals. It doesn't have to be super-expensive either. Thanks for the video!
Welcome to South Affica, enjoy your stay in my wonderfull country❤
Thank you! 😃
As a Pakistani I fully support love respect and support South Africa Namibia and its beautiful people from Pakistan 🙂. Best regards from Pakistan 🙂.
Wow! Wow! Wow! I can't believe how tame the animals are and how close you got to them. What an amazing experience! Thank you for sharing.
Thanks for watching!
Your video is so crystal clear..you both are the best TH-camrs out there..I’m am always amazed how beautiful your videos are…love your content..enjoy Africa ..I’m glad you both are doing better…stay safe …thank you taking us along your journey…❤
Thanks for the kind words :D
That was amazing. That new lens is worth every dollar.
Definitely! The images would have been so much worse without that purchase
Loved watching that after a mad shift in work. 👍
Glad to hear it!
Very nice tour and nice wildlife scenery,Chris and Carol!
Pretty awesome video. I live just outside a national park in the Matobo Hills in Zimbabwe and find it surreal how manicured some safari experiences have become. I strongly encourage you to try a wilderness experience with elephants, lions, hyenas, etc roaming freely around camp.
Hey there, we did do a wild one recently in Namibia. We need to visit Zimbabwe at some point :D
Matobo Hills looks like it has some amazing rock formations also
@@JumpingPlaces Will check out your Namibia vids. Incredibly beautiful landscapes. And yes, I strongly recommend exploring the Matobo Hills on foot. High chance of bumping in rhinos and leopards. Highest concentration of ancient rock art on the continent too and so plenty of caves to dive into. It really is a privilege to live within a UNESCO World Heritage site.
The animals are so majestic.
I got to compliment that young Brazilian lady, she is absolutely beautiful.
Excellent video. A waited with baited breath to see the lion. He was majestic but irate. Loved that you saw so many other animals. ❤
Hi guy, am from South Africa I really enjoy your vlogs
Cheers!
Fantastic safari and great filming, thanks 👍✌️
Great stuff. Glad you made it to Southern Africa - my favourite place on Earth (ok, I love animals).
Animal lovers paradise!

Hope you are having a great time
Sabrina 🇫🇷🇬🇧
What a beautiful and exotic tour. The views scenery are incredible. I also thought the house you all were staying was cool! 😊
Amazing! Thank you for sharing. ❤
Glad you enjoyed it!
The antelope at the camp is called 'Nyala' the one with horns is the male very similar looking as the kudu and the others without the horns was all females
So stunning! Thank goodness for that sniper lens!
Great video!
Beautiful
Very beautiful 👍🏖
Thanks for sharing this video
I hv seen safaris(on videos) in Zambia, Kenya(massai mara), Tanzania, and kruger south africa. Really amazing to watch wild animal roaming around
Top, reminds me on Turunc
Wow! Amazing place!
Beautiful ❤
Total rocking it around the world congratulations
Simply outstanding ❤
I have always wanted to do a safari! Thank you 🙏🏻
What a great experience for you both, it looks amazing. 🐆🐘🇨🇦💕
We have amazing game reserves all over the country. Further north (northern borders of South Africa) is just a lot more bushy and wild. Can be very hot and dry too. We have some very well known 5 star lodges/reserves in Kwazulu-Natal too.
Kurt Caz would be proud. Enjoy!❤😊
Very nice video , thanks for sharing.
Thank you too
Thank you for sharing your adventure. Beautiful pictures!
Our pleasure!
Thanks!
Thanks for the big support!
Very nice vlog watching from 🇨🇦
Thank you 😊
You've done it again, a brilliant video 👍🐒
Thank you! Cheers!
Nice accomodations. Seems like a pretty good deal for the price you quoted.
Looks like an amazing time! You guys definitely had some good sightings on your safari tour. I was lucky enough to go on a 9-day safari in Botswana about 20 years ago and it was definitely one of the most amazing experiences of my life. After the safari we spent a few days in Zimbabwe (Victoria Falls) and then Cape Town, which is a wonderful cosmopolitan city. I was going to suggest that you guys take a tour of the wine region near Cape Town. Stunningly beautiful and the wines are outstanding. Thank you for sharing this experience with us!
Thanks you guys so much to shows these amazing safaris from Cape Town, South Africa in March of 2024❤❤❤I am hoping more new videos are coming up soon this week from Cape Town, South Africa 2024❤❤❤
It's so good to see my favorite traveling couple finally exploring what my country, & more specifically my city has to offer.
Welcome to Cape Town, South Africa, hope you enjoy your experiences here!!🎉❤
Hi Chris & Calor
Thanks you guys so much for your new 2nd remarkable video this week from Cape Town, South Africa in March of 2024❤❤❤I wish you guys safe journeys & good luck always in peace 2024❤❤❤
Wow great experience, I'm very happy for you guy's, my country is beautiful but you haven't seen nothing compare to what you can explore out there, breathtaking places.
Thanks again for another beautiful video amazing landscapes and animals 😅
Our pleasure!
Amazing safari trip! I wanna go back! Thanks for sharing. What camera and lens are you using? Amazing!
I don't enjoy camping but I was able to go glamping in Baja California several years ago and it was a wonderful experience. I would definitely go glamping when I eventually do a safari tour.
Chris had a hard time camping in Namibia, found it hard to get to sleep as it wasn't so comfortable and not much space. This place he definitely had no problem :)
Very cool 👍🙂
Thank you 👍
You should visit the Kruger Park . Best place to see wildlife and have the bush experience
Nice. Oudtshoorn is my hometown where i grew up. Let me know when you back in cpt and want a free wine tour.
The glamping tent is fantastic. Loving it. 👍😊
Super comfortable, the nice warm bath was great also :D
@@JumpingPlaces Cool 👍😀
I believe the antelope deer that is seen in this video is an female Kudu and the male will have curled horns. The male Nyala will have nearly straight horns.
Great video again, thank you for the scenes. I learned something with this video that "Glamping" is camping using tents. Who knew obviously
not me. Thanks
They were Njala, first was the female and the male was sniffing the GoPro. They look like they have a long coat when compared to the Kudu male. The kudu female looks similar but has a hump with a tuft of hair on the shoulders and a white line across the face and the males have the distinctive curls in their horns.
Not a Kudu, an Nyala. Nyala are distinctive by there golden colour “socks”.
you can sense that those animals were happy to see new faces too 😀
The lion was a bit grumpy lol. i was surprised by the ones near our tent but i suppose they are around the guests there all the time
❤❤❤❤❤❤ the lion had a little attitude….. lol …… the Glamping accommodations was better than what I’m living in now… Lol 😊
Yeah! Someone stood up to take a picture and the guide told us not to, the lion wasn't impressed
I am out of order with your videos so will need to catch up but this was beautiful! My husband wants to do this but I have to work on my anxiety about going to Africa - probably South Africa is doable
Szép helyeken jártatok, vigyázzatok Magatokra!
That was a Nyala. It's close to a Kudu in looks.
The wine Route is called Route 62. Hope you will be visiting Stellenbosch and Franchoek. Simons Town , Kalk Bay .....
Thanks for the info, we didn't have time for many things in south africa but we did pass by simons town which will be in our next video
Now that you seen a small bit of the Garden Route you need to come back and see the whole of its beauty( Coastal Area). The route you were on is called Route 62 the wine route is in Franshoek and Stellenbosch area which is about 40 min from Cape Town. If you want to see the big five you need to go to Kruger National park ( you need to fly there) or Aquilla resort about 250 km from Cape Town. Great video and enjoy all the highlights of Cape Town
We definitely need to go back to explore more
The Garden Route is dry arid on one side called the Karoo on the other side lush green with mountains lakes and the sea. Its the best of both worlds. Enjoy
I can’t believe how big the elephants are!😮
yeah unreal!
Wow very amazing 🎉🦓🐂🦬
Good👍👍👍
Thanks
@JumpingPlaces you are welcome👍
Beautiful!!! Amazing. Well worth the price. Just curious how bad the bugs were? Looked pretty ok. Cheers!
We passed repellent so had no issues when eating outside, inside our tent was fine
Since you guys are in 'area', I highly recommend Vic Falls and the Okavango Delta as well... you'll have to hop on a flight, but both really amazing :)...
Didn't have time to go there on this Africa trip but hopefully in the future :D
ah that's too bad, okay next time@@JumpingPlaces
A very nice safari.
Although if the elephant wants to go on a rampage the guy with the little stick isn't going to stop him.
Welcome to Cape Town, South Africa this week to tours these amazing Safari with lots of remarkable wildlife or animals in Southern Africa March of 2024❤❤❤
Cheers!
It looks like a Water Buck or Bush buck.
The antelope that you saw net ghe tents were Njala. The ewes are the lighter colour and the bull darker. This species is also the change over from small antelope and larger ones like Eland and Kudu. With Kudu you have bulls and cows. Smaller antelope you get rams and ewes. The Njala male is called a bull and the female an ewe.
Yeah the guide told us that it wasn't a kudu later on, i was supposed to write that down but forgot lol
Hi Carol what camera do you use ?
@3:17 That "some kind of instrument" is called an Mbira or kalimba, on the UNESCO list as a cultural artifact.
Thanks for the info, cool instrument!
The trio of rhinos posed beautifully in a slowly overcast landscape.!I wish you more pleasant experiences in Africa,I enjoyed with you through your video. Many thanks!👍
Thanks for the support :D
Nyala is the name of the African striped deer.
yeah the guide told us later that it wasn't a kudu, i was supposed to write that down in the video but i forgot
Fantastic video. Grear footage. The glamping looked amazing. Do you just find these online via google? You stay in nice but affordable places wherever you go..how do you book them?
Yes carol is always looking around on booking sites like airbnb and booking.com.
So what was the location of this safari?
And while in SA try their Castle lager 🍺 their no 1 lager.
Great episode! I wonder why the cheetah was wearing a collar -and what kind of collar it was. Does anybody here know?
I think it might just be to track it, although not sure why that animal needs the tracker and not the others that we saw. They did mention that when they initially got the cheetah at the lodge it was heavily injured and not even expected to live normally, so maybe they wanted to track it's progress closely?
Leopards are the golden prize to spot on safaris. They are nocturnal and tend to avoid people.
I regret not going on one while i was working I. South Africa.... Question I am thinking of taking my my family to Rio. Brazil.would you recommend it for a family holiday
Yeah go for it 👍
Is the little bird that robbed the bacon name Carol?
lol could be
You are elegantly correct,it is very huge for a "Private Reserve"... Now I wonder how they managed to buy that amount of land🤔 #Stolen land!
You guys are great. I am trying to keep up with the beautiful places you go. I’m in Antalya now. Thanks for the great content
I would like to know how you you buy flights
Do you use ND filters on your drone?
Never have
@@JumpingPlaces your drone shots look great and natural. I use ND filters but only a small amount in very bright and reflective scenarios. Keep up the great work. You two are amazing together. Still waiting for y’all to go to Cebu Safari. I’ll be in the Philippines for the whole month of April.
Nyala females with the stripes and the darker Nyala male.
Glad you got to go on a safari , we've done them in a wild setting and the version you went on isn't the same. I saw many fences in your video as well as the rangers walking with the elephants with sticks is very zoo like and dies not happen in the wild. You really should experience a different version
We did a wild one recently in Namibia at Etosha. This place is more for rescued or protected animals
White rhinos have a big wide mouth (white = wide) Black rhinos have a mouth with a somewhat pointy lip future. 👍
$420 per person for a Safari?!!!😮 That's groceries nowadays 😒
Luckiest couple alive
I'm sorry but I've been on wildlife photo safaris in the 1980 and 90s in Kenya and Tanzania and this seems to be a highly scripted excursion with mostly captive animals... not a safari as I know it.
Yes these are lodges with rescued animals, we did a more wild one in Namibia recently
It's a small private reserve. The Kruger is the huge National Park in Northern South Africa.
Like #780, Good night fromYipma Baruya TH-cam channel Papua New Guinea, I enjoyed watching your contents, thanks for sharing. May God bless you
