    Hi, I’m from Mozambique. The main reason why you’re not allowed to use drones in Bazaruto is because of the privacy that the usually high-profile, famous and rich guests from all around the world demand while visiting that very exclusive island-resort. In the Quirimbas islands at the far north of Mozambique happens exactly the same.
    Be careful with the bull-sharks, they are very unpredictable, aggressive and they usually cruise around very shallow water. Great videos 👍 Enjoy

  • @giannishen
    @giannishen หลายเดือนก่อน +32

    The sea there is as beautiful as watercolor! Those islands are as dreamy as fairyland!
    Those kids are cute and love talking to people, which is great!
    The varied terrain on those islands is impressive and I love the scene of you running up the dunes, so lovely!
    It’s a pity that you can’t take aerial shots there, otherwise your video of swimming with sharks and dolphins would be beautiful!
    Fortunately, you took the photo of the moray eel, which made up for my regret!
    This series is great, introducing a lot of local history, food, culture, economy, and the lives of local people!
    You are the most elegant and smartest TH-camrs I have ever watched.
    Thanks a lot for sharing such beautiful video, really super great job! 👍😍🙌🎉

    What a stunning place. Definitely a hidden gem! Hope you go back to Africa. Your coverage was eye opening. It is beautiful. They only show us the bad parts on the news. This was fabulous!

  • @max22able

    As you mentioned, Bazaruto is unique.
    For this reason, I'm happy to accept the no-drone policy there. Turtles nest on those beaches, and the endangered Dugongs swim in that water, so it seems reasonable to leave them to their peace. Helicopters are on a fixed flight path, but drones are erratic and unpredictable to the wildlife. The Bazaruto archipeligo is a well managed marine protection area, all marine craft have to vacate the channel after dark and human activity is strictly controlled. I wish there were more places like that in the world.

    That country looks absolutely amazing, as did the rest of Africa. I think it's great of you both to raise awareness for tourism in Africa. There is so much undocumented history there, as well as beautiful people that deserve better economic growth, which tourism will help.

    • @JumpingPlaces

    • @user-ns7dj1lo3r
      @user-ns7dj1lo3r หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      African content creators can raise awareness about tourism in Africa. They don't need help. They can do a better job themselves.
      Why do you think "white people" are better at promoting African tourism ?

    • @SwivelHippie
      @SwivelHippie หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      @@user-ns7dj1lo3r African content providers DO raise awareness about Africa. I watch some of them too. What is the point of bringing race into the discussion?

    • @user-ns7dj1lo3r
      @user-ns7dj1lo3r หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@SwivelHippie The fact you attributed bringing awareness of African tourism to the world on white people, you yourself brought race into the discussion. I didn't. This is a common typical default setting of white people. Accuse black people of playing the race card everytime you are exposed of being racist.

    🌍. Just a very beautiful and pristine destination. Great wide clean beaches, and not crowded.!!
    Those beach houses you have stayed over were fabulous too.
    Mosambique could surely benefit of tourism more in future. But that depends on many factors, also how life in Mosambique in general evolves.
    Wish good luck to them, and You as well.!

I'm heading next month to the island countries and territories off the east coast of Africa on a 3-week tour, which should be good. Of places I've already been, i can recommend Sao Tome, which seemed really cool (thought hot!) on my one-day visit. Also found Ghana very vibrant and interesting. Dakar and St. Louis in Senegal are terrific. I did not enjoy what I saw of Angola and prices were very high there as well. Safe and enjoyable travels. I look forward to coming along with you!

We strongly recommend, Mauritius, Seychelles, Cape Verde, Egypt, Equatorial Guinea, Angola, Gabon, the Republic of the Congo (not to be confused with the Democratic Republic of the Congo), Côte d'Ivoire, Tanzania, Kenya, Ethiopia, Botswana, Zambia, and Tunisia. However, we encourage you to check with Brazilian and British authorities about the profiles of these countries and precautions you need to take, before going to some of these countries. You have to eat game meat at Carnivores in Nairobi and definitely you can’t miss the Dar es Salaam main market and the Zanzibar island in Tanzania. But please return to South Africa you won’t believe the diverse beauty in the following - Garden Route, Durban and the Drakensburg mountain range. Ohh and one week in Cape Town was way too short. Sadly I had a bad drone experience in the Gili Islands of Indonesia. I was taking a shower in my outdoor shower attached to my room when I heard the buzz of a drone overhead. I was not happy. So possibly these invasions of privacy have led to the bans on drones. I love the beautiful shots they capture of the land and sea. I guess I can see both sides of the coin.

    I knew you would love this place😊!
    Other places that are worth going to are Gorongosa and i hear Zinave has also been rehabilitated- although neither of these compare to Kruger to be honest. I really wish that the north of the country was safe, as i am told that the Pemba area is spectacular, also with Ilha de Mozambique that i would love to see😊

    When I was in Costa da Caparica (lovely beach/surf destination across Tagus from Lisbon - very underrated because of Almada which you have to pass through ( Fonte da Telha at very end is one of most beautiful beaches you'll see) Huge surf destination....all of Costa Caparica. Anyway, when I was there a hotel was hosting a dance workshop and the music sounded Brazilian but they said it was Cap Verde music. I think Cap Verde residents also have option for Portuguese citizenship or automatically have it. Not positive, but would love to see you visit there.

    Dam, adding that hotel to the list that is a true hidden gem!
    Africa as a whole is such a stunning continent that more travelers need to visit. We went to Egypt and visited Hurghada like you guys, how do you think this beach area compares to there?

    Glad to see that you enjoyed Vilanculos and more so that you did some snorkeling off Bazaruto Island. Bazaruot has alwasy been a great snorkeling haven, and the coral looks like its surviving.
    Africa will always be Africa (sub-Sahara) as it doesn't vary too much and especially with regards to the infrastructure. The colonials built most of what you see today, and very little has changed or been developed over the years. New development of infrastructure coming to Africa these days is from the Chinese, who are developing the continent via roads and bridges, so that they can get the resources out that they need.
    Anyway you guys should make a turn in Mombasa Kenya, as while the town has also degrading since the poms built it, the beaches are five star. There it is mainly english (british colony) with Swahili. They are friendly people.
    Enjoy your trip to Japan and stay safe
