A friend of mine bought a factory’54-‘55 Corvette dual exhaust manifold and installed it on his ‘54 Chevy BelAir 2dr Sedan. It was a beautiful car, turquoise and white. He added an Isky 3/4 cam, it surprised many stock V8’s! Of course this in the year 1960. Sure would be nice if Chevy had sold the foundry tooling to someone to make these available!
Looks great I bet that engine came out really nice and sounding nice when you finished what was needed for that application. That 235 engine the old stovebolt 6 that's a real good engine. If you don't mind I know this video was posted 3 years ago but I have a question on 6 volt to 12 volt conversion I have a 53 Chevy that I want to convert from 6 volts to 12 volts reason that ask I noticed you have an alternator on that engine in place of the generator if you don't mind explaining it a please... Jose
On my new chrome valve cover I used four ARP bolts that were a small amount longer than the stock slot headed bolts. I pulled the one on the front on the carb side to place a washer under it. Much to my surprise radiator fluid came out, slowly. Could I have punched a hole in a water jacket with the slightly longer bolt?

Hi Travis. Great video, very good informations. Would you consider to sell your old exaust manifold? Mine is cracked. Just let me know. Cheers, Matt
I ordered mine today. Thanks for posting, have no idea how this is going to turn out, as my engine is in the car...

How did you configure the throttle linkage? The Fenton headers on my 235 block the original path
