love the review! best part of WLmouse is that they are extremely open to criticism. batch 1 had edge sharpness issues and they sent all batch 1 with the issue a completely free new mouse case to fix the issue. that being said, the issues of some flexing, or sidebutton wobble, they have heard these issues and newer batches have been fixed. in my opinion this is the best possible mouse you can get for $140. The software is the only bad part of the mouse, but that is of course fixable and in the works.
also, i am used to and dont mind the side panels at all, however the stock skates didnt feel good to be. Currently use it with obsidian dots and skypad 3.0
Love the long term review, we definitely need more. Also really digging the use of the tools it really provides a clear baseline which will help with comparisons. Great video Techne, look forward to more.
Thank a bunch man. Trying to implement some solid no BS testing, to show talking point rather than just talk about them. Glad your enjoying them, and thanks a bunch for watching 👍
Love this mouse. I light fingertip grip, and I thought I would hate the holes on the sides. I actually really enjoy them; they feel fine and I can actually lock my thumb into them a bit. Definitely beats my 8 defective RVUs I've been dealing with over the last 2 years lol
Shape is King! 👑 I like my mice right around 125mm in length and no less than 60mm wide. We have nearly identical size hands which I deem as medium size and anything smaller in my hand than a GPX Superlight and doesn't fit in the back of my palm is going to have less control therefore I don't like them. Even the Razer Viper V2 Pro is too small for a stable palm grip. There's a little sweet spot that's about a 1/4" to 1/3" from the end of my palm where you were measuring that if a mouse can't be secure in that area, there's less stability. Listen. I'm almost 60 years old but for my age probably one of the top Call of Duty players in the world. I had Interstellar camo before season 1 and Shipment came. I am picky as f**k. I ordered the ULX large hoping that it will fit in my hand because the prior Finalmouse versions were too small.
I absolutely love this mouse, it honestly feels like pretty much a copy of the Finalmouse Starlight-12 but just a bit better in everything. The dongle is amazing, 4k wireless poling, amazing build quality, amazing look, multiple skates and mouse grips included, currently my favorite mouse.
I love the new look of the studio. In the other hand was very hard to appreciate the product couse they were as black as the background. The white table was the propper choice for this products i think
Good review 👍. Just got my copy and the flex is only on the bottom left no flex anywhere else. I think it’s a great mouse but I got to say I’m not a big fan of the skates
The shape I can say it is most similar to, and definitly based off of is the Starlight 12 medium or the ulx lion. It is almost the exact same shape other than being a little wider and taller.
My sensor gave out today unfortunately 😞 I had a batch 1 model. I just reached out to them and sent them a video. While playing it'll spin all the way up or down while I'm aiming left and right
@@TheTechne odd I went on a very long game session new years day and had to plug it in during the last bit of the night, started at 100. Believe it was 7 and half hours-ish. Love the content btw!

Hello sir thanks for review I'm using razer deathadder V3 Pro but it feels big from the top so I want to get buy a new mouse. Is it worth to change it to buy this one? My hand 185x105mm and using palm or relaxed claw grip. Thanks for advance.
Do the switches get more spammable or lighter over time? I returned mine because i mainly play fortnite and need to spam buttons really fast in order to build structures but the buttons felt really heavy. The skates and shape was awesome but without grips it‘s not usable imo
Supposedly the second batches had some minor improvements based on the various feedback from the community, with click tensioning being one of them I think, but don't quote me.
with all my use they were the same. The thing that takes getting use to is how short the travel is, and how quick they bottom out. Makes them feel firm, but they really aren't, there is just very very minimal travel.
yeah I have been trying to tweak the settings to make it a little more visible. But fingertip are always colder than palm, so hard to get that heat transfer. But I still think its better than the usually just talking about it
This mouse is an obvious clear competitor to the UltralightX from finalmouse. And this was my exact question. The weight is practically the same, and they're both using a unique material (one being a carbon fiber filled plastic, this one being a magnesium alloy) I personally think because of the weight difference with this, and the likes of the viper mini and X2 they're not in the same league. I just ordered myself one to see how different it feels compared to my Superlite X2
@@TheTechne if you have the time, you could test yours again more accurately this time by hour. I've seen other reviews but you are the only one who says more than a day.
I have had both the GPX and GPX2 and I like the feel of this mouse more. It isn't that much of a drastic difference honestly, but the hump design and overall shape are great on the Beast X. I think you will like it if you already enjoy the GPX size. The scroll wheel also feels so much better on this mouse compared to the Pulsar and GPX1/2, which is big for me and my key bindings in most games. It's also crazy how much lighter if feels compared to the GPX. I didn't think it would be that different until I had both in front of me.
Mice with less than 6 buttons are useless imo. Idk why everyone only uses these 2 side button mice. If its weight, you can get an 89 gram 12 button mouse from steelseries. Idc if a mouse is 40grams if it only has 2 buttons. Honestly explain to me why you would get a 2 side button mouse. I want to understand why you get a 40gram 2 butolton mouse over an 89 gram 12 button mouse. Even if you only use 6 buttons thats 4 more than 2.

Got my Beast X Mini in Stellar Black color. And it seems they really fix that issues with flex of the shell.

Will you do review od the mini version?
I got a updated batch and my clicks don't touch or bottom out when I click and I have no side flex
We have the exact same hand size, is it really medium-large?
How's the battery life?
the shape isn't really a "mix" of other mice considering its a 1:1 clone of finalmouse shape
do the grips come in the box?
