Always liked Metazoo, the art, the creature back stories, and the gameplay. Sad to see it driven into the ground by people who refuse to acknowledge any mistakes , and then act accordingly.
Yeah even large companies like Pokemon and Wizards of the Coast (although not genuine sometimes) gives an apology to the customer and fanbase when something needs to be addressed. For example in Pokemon with the Van Goh Promos, it sold out instantly online and The Pokemon Company International sent out an apology letter and said they would rectify people not getting it by releasing more promos at a later date with a much longer window - many people including myself was able to get a copy
I heard that you and fizzgig are going to do a documentary on metazoo I think that's an awesome idea! :)

I mean, it’s been very quiet and as far as I know the tower people still have not been paid. I’m still waiting on product and the manga is a week late what is going on? It’s so annoying.
Brave the storm, we got to brave the storm... I doubt Metazoo literally just disappeared - there MUST be something happening behind closed doors that needs to remain hush hush
Great point about product quality...it's the 1 thing the zoo doesn't get enough credit for. You can really tell it's been a high priority on the list as year by year the quality has gotten better & better👍
Happy to see you agree with that point! There's a reason why we love collecting the cards, there's just so much operations related issues that unfortunately overshadow the good

LOL if it's worth $0 I might actually buy it and hire community members that have the right skills to be in place for equity in the company. Then when it gets more profitable then hire experienced people in the field to be team leaders of their respective groups
Let's say Mike is thinking of selling Zoo. What do you think his bottom dollar price is for him to let it go?
Ooo that's a good question. Having 0 financial background (unless you consider an economics degree something lol) I'd say him and the other shareholders would be willing to sell at $3 million. It's far from the $50M 2022 valuation we were told but Metazoo doesn't appear to own any real estate assets (which usually takes up a large chunk of a sale) nor do they have that many employees to offer. Most of the purchase price would be allocated to trademarks, copyrights and trade secrets like patents for making the cards, oh and whatever overstock of inventory they may have.

I completely feel the same way! When I first heard of Metazoo and the concept I got Facebook vibes when they first came out - unfortunately I was too young to purchase stocks at the time and too fiscally inexperienced to buy into FB at the time

They actually have a theme song for each set! Minus Kuromi's Cryptic Carnival though. You can find the theme songs on Metazoo's TH-cam page 🎶
Who ever buys MetaZoo will be very happy they did, the negativity will disappear over night with new management. Thank you for the shout out, there is a lot of positivity in the MetaZoo world that hasn’t been discovered yet, lol I know Umu doesn’t like me and that makes me smile lol.
I have the same feeling - glad we are on the same page! And lol there's definitely some enjoyment to be had when someone like Umu doesn't like you - means you made it to the big leagues!

Any companies with analyst that are interested in purchasing Metazoo games would likely wait until the company was going to go bankrupt. All this talk about someone buying metazoo is very unfounded and personally I would like to not hear about it any more. If content creators were spending more time discussing the sets that are out or other non speculative ideas it would be more entertaining. Metazoo is a card game and i have not seen 1 video from anyone about the playability of the cards just released from Disclosure pages or black friday packs.
I completely agree that the discussions of Metazoo being bought out is just rumors and speculation but that's all we have right now and the narrative really fits the radio silence we have right now. Playability wise I am surprised not more people are making Cryptid Clash content.
