@speedrobo99 Yeah many of the CN artwork was very rough around the edges (or lack thereof edges lol) but they did improve throughout the sets, it couldn't save the sinking ship though at that point 🚢

@@Peeweez0 Totally valid. A lot of the later stuff I liked way more than what I saw at launch. But I only saw the later sets after the game shut down, sadly. It was too little too late, even for me it would seem.

Just my two cents on it 😊 I didn't think it was such an extreme take and this is the first time I've seen someone that liked the back of the card that much tbh 🫨

I hate to admit it but the Cryptid Camp cards are looking a lot like the successor of Metazoo art but in full art form which Mike refused to pursue previously. Hoping the new Metazoo keep the feel of the original Metazoo but with some necessary tweeks 🔧

Yeah I much prefer this than the previous BANDAI having obtained Metazoo rumor. Also being GameQBator Labs initial project they will for sure put a lot of effort into this so they can get a good rep 💪

Thanks for the comment FrostByte! Yeah sounds like Legacy is already printed so just keep that as is would make the most financial sense for them. Metazoo in general was designed for more a teen audience anyways with Matlox/Boohag/Old Green Eyes etc from CN. I feel the old Metazoo pushed a bit too into the occult and gore imagery in Seance though that pushed many to the uncomfortable side of the ring (myself included) 🔮

Thanks Jody - I'll be around as long as Metazoo is around 🪄 I'd say just enjoy Metazoo passively for now, you did SOOOO much for Metazoo in the beginning with MetazooHQ and I have to say it's still the cleaning information site for Metazoo. We will all definitely be more cautious in our approach for sure

Hey man! Glad you're still keeping up with Metazoo over in Belgium (or whoever you may be now!) Yeah I get what you mean, it'll feel like a different TCG if things change too much - I do think that the people at GameQBator Labs are somewhat fans of the old Metazoo though so I have faith in them 💪

Yeah I completely agree - if they do go in another art direction it would be cool if they did like a "throwback promo set" and print Metazoo v.1 cards but with the Legacy and WAR art on them

@LEGEND-vu7qf It's true quite a few previous artists went over to Cryptid Camp like Afton and Pepper Deluca but it's a bit too early to say how that will pan out. Their Kickstarter campaign hasn't begun yet and they are just in their sample pack phase still. I think there's a window for Cryptid Camp to capitalize on before MetaTwo decides to start up production again (if at all)

@@ninjanick84 Eh the game was just MTG mixed with YuGiOh but had 4th wall effects (ie: if you are wearing a mask then gain +10, etc) which was a pretty fun mechanic. I wouldn't same the game was revolutionary but it made it a TCG at least. Art wise is subjective - I like the somewhat goofy watercolor art 😎!

@@MoonS4S From the latest news on that end - creditors (including preorder peeps) are still able to submit their claims until mid-October I believe. Then the bankruptcy court will make a decision on how the funds will be allocated to pay out whom and to what
