Mike saying that he will be going in and fixing up stuff was ridiculous. He just doesn’t learn. He‘s the king of over-promise and under-deliver and besides that, if you expect anything from this man, in my opinion you’re going to be disappointed at least and probably ripped off.

Completely agree. I originally thought Hello Kitty might have been a good fit with Metazoo but Sanrio being the massive corporation they are just teams up with anyone and gets the licensing fee. Look at the McDonalds Hello Kitty x YuGiOh Happy Meal colab - everyone is eligible, Metazoo wasn't as special as we thought although Craig Takeguchi was involved with Metazoo in the beginning

He has been talking a lot lately in Bailey's discord but some of the information contradicts what Shaw told Turmentic in their interview so it's quite the he said she said situation right now 🤔 I'll give another update once more of the truth comes out

So much info has been provided by Mike and Shaw this past 24 hours it's crazy - 1000% there were internal disputes and everything imploded
If they rebrand to a more serious focus on the cryptid part of the IP and stop trying to evoke old pokemon nostalgia (even though no one has childhood memories of the game) I don't see how any part of the original game, including the name, has any staying power anymore. But if they do something with it i will watch your content on it.

He's a LGS owner/partner that is real chummy with Metazoo management and gets lots of favoritism thrown his way in the form of unreleased promos and other free product if I'm remembering correctly throughout my time in Metazoo. Just one of those extreme favoritism cases per usual in Metazoo 😢

Was never a game. Clearly collecting cards and people actually bought that hype. I paid retail and sold out and made a mint. Told my friends to sell sell. All but one listened. The one is now stuck with worthless art. It was all new exclusive promo or pins or mugs or post cards. lol. Meanwhile no LGS carried or had actual playing this on their schedules. Mike would block u quick if you called out this pump and dump. Rudy I don’t doubt was paid a mint / given a stupid Rudy card walking with a bag of money like a lol 😆 look at what I did for even trying to act like this game was a real thing.

Yeah we were foolish to expect anything different. I'll make an update video at some point but it's just so discouraging talking about disappointment after disappointment with Metazoo 😞

Agreed, since making this video and have confronted Mike on Bailey's discord about how I feel about the whole messed up shut down situation I've gotten my closure. I'm just a passive observer now just to see how everything ends up because this is all pretty dramatic and interesting after all lol
