This might be unpopular opinion, but I like this game more than Arkham Horror TLCG…
That is my opinion too!!
You can attach 2 Valor boon cards in two player, that's why they included an if able clause. Also, its effect is a response and responses are always optional so you could have attached it to Gimli and just not used it if you didn't want the heal (although having it on Aragorn is good too).

I have one note for the Klingon subtitles: at 43:08, you mention that no characters are committed to the quest because the quest phase is over. But the quest phase isn't actually over yet, because there's a step of the quest phase that comes after placing progress on the quest so you're still in it, and questing characters are considered to be questing until the end of the quest phase even after placing progress on the quest. Not that it would have mattered because you could have put the damage on Beravor and been fine.
Also a minor note: at around 40:34, you played Mendor's Support before staging, but there is an action window after staging so you could have saved your Mendor's Support to see if you needed it. It didn't matter this time but it could matter in other situations!

I hear you! I need to play more earthborne rangers to figure that out. I think it's a nice compliment to this game though as it is more about exploring vs. Fighting!

you can't play the forest snare on the Hill Troll as an interrupt.. you can only play the Forrest Snare during the planning phase of the game... which means you would of had to taken that attack from the Hill Troll every turn... its a rule most people get wrong...

FYI, you were still in the quest phase when you drew those 4 cards when you advanced to stage 3 as you advance immediately to the next stage during the quest phase. Characters are also considered committed to the quest for the entirety of the quest phase (after committing), so you would have to deal 2 damage to one of the characters committed. That would kill Eowyn or Mendor but I think Beravor could have survived or you could have killed Gleowine.
I disagree with this one. The questing has already been completed so no one takes the 2 damage
@@MeetMeAtTheTable Rules Reference page 23 last paragraph in section 3.4:
"Characters committed to a quest are considered
committed to that quest through the end of the quest
phase, unless a card ability removes them from the
quest. Those characters do not ready at the end of
this step."
Interesting played with the designer Caleb and that is not how he delt with this so I still disagree with it! Haha I'll go with Caleb on this one
Indeed. The "quest phase" is active even after willpower is totalled and allocated and, if a new quest card is started, isn't formally over until the travel phase begins. So technically 2 damage should've been dealt.
You had lucky draws at first (come on, core set cards, but you got Citadel Plate, Steward of Gondor, Galadrim's Greeting, Celebrian's Stone, Banks of the Anduin, AND a Forest Snare, all before the end of round 3? Why can't I draw like that?), so the second Hill Troll was karma - no complaining!

Im still watching the video and I've had no idea that I could pay steward of gonder without paying it with resources by exausting the steward of gondor card. Another doubt: Is it possible to win this scenario only using one deck? I've tried many times and I've failed all time.
Not exactly sure what you mean? you have to pay the 2 resources for the card, it just will then generate 2 resources each round! It is the strongest card in the game! Thanks for watching!
