Thank you for noticing. I thought I showed the DJ41 on the wrist from third person’s perspective enough times but you’re right, I never did in the green dial (something I didn’t think of until now).
Next up is DJ36 vs DJ41 comparison video and I’ll make sure to include third person view shots.

Beautiful mint green. I was offered this exact model in 41mm from my AD two weeks ago. I refused it and have opted to wait for the jubilee bracelet and fluted bezel. Can't wait to get it.

I would have done the same, currently waiting for the fluted on jubilee too, the best and most iconic look to me. If I wanted a smooth bezel, I'd pick the green Omega AT.

What a stunning watch. I've got mine yesterday however size 36 with fluted bezel and jubilee. The mint green is just beautiful and the overall watch one of the most beautiful I've ever seen (and own). Great content as always

I have the smooth bezel 41 mint green with jubilee bracelet…. Absolutely stunning combination. I felt the fluted bezel plus jubilee was a bit much. Otherwise fluted bezel on oyster is a great combo as well!
cannot agree with you more bro. I usually prefer fluted on jubilee, but it seems too much for this dial, so I got the fluted with oyster. just about it. Actually the one that hafiz got might be the best for dial dial ( or for blue dial in general).

You're absolutely right. Smooth bezel on jubilee highlights the bracelet, where as a fluted bezel gives a bit too much detail to the whole appearance.

Hafiz does not fit the stereotypical watch reviewer profile here on TH-cam, which says a lot about our collector contingent unfortunately.
I'm a big Rolex fanboy tbh, I do like that dial a lot. But I do think it's about time they improved the finishing on their markers, the hands in your close ups look pretty good but the hour markers are poor for me, they are pretty rough for a watch of this value IMO. Other brands at the a similar price point do a better a job with the finishing IMO. It should be better than that.

I’m not sure if these are specs of dust or minute scratches… either way you can’t see them with the naked eye. Don’t forget these watches are mass produced and the DJs are the most made model line by Rolex, so these “imperfections” are not unexpected. Not fair to compare mass produced watches in the thousands to handmade watches made in the hundreds regardless of price range. Regardless, the quality of this DJ is better than the Overseas and Royal Oak that Hafiz reviewed on his channel.. and these are are supposed to be “high horology” watches that are worth 3 to 4 times the DJ.
@@omarion07 I’d be interested to compare. When I looked at the hour markers of my Hulk through a loupe they were much rougher than the markers of an Omega SMP 300 which was cheaper and just as mass market.
I think that’s a huge excuse. Rolex finishing on the hour markers is not as good as it is on their hands. It should be better than it is IMO.
I sold the Seamaster, I kept the Hulk. I love Rolex watches. But they can and should do better none the less. The markers always look rough in my experience.

Great sizing comparisons. Though the DJ41 squeezes the dial for the wider bezel, at 32mm it is still a respectable size! I think I have rationalized that I can't go below 30mm on the crystal/dial size for a watch to look appropriate on my nearly 8 inch wrist. Still, I think I would have preferred the domed bezel like on the OP41.

I am very disappointed by this shade of green. It looked so much nicer on their website. In real life you can barely notice its green. Its more of a greenish blue
Hello Hafiz, first of all, thanks for the review. Did they use this release to provide anti-reflective coating on the underside of the crystal ? In the video it does not look like they did. Cheers.
Rolex absolutely forgoes anti-reflective coating on all their watches. This is well-known amongst the more expert collectors such as us.

Dressy mint green looks classy. Not very strap friendly tho.
The DJ in general isn't strap-friendly due to it being primarily a dress watch.

Not bad, but I need to see it IRL to check out the reflections on that green dial under various lighting conditions. This config is ok, like the Omega AT green dial, but I find the fluted bezel on jubilee vastly more special and iconic.

Hi Hafiz, love your videos! They are beautifully shot and very instructive, with fantastic commentary. The only note I would make is to add definite articles in your voiceover. Watch model names (Submariner, Datejust 41, Overseas, etc.) are all proper nouns. This means you cannot say them on their own, and need to include "the" in front of them every time: "THE Rolex Submariner," "THE Datejust 41," "THE Overseas," etc. The only exception is when the noun is preceded by an adjective or by a possessive pronoun that acts as an adjective: "A beautiful Submariner," "My Datejust 41." Other than this small detail your English is basically perfect, and I very much look forward to your future vids :)

@@HafizJMehmood No worries at all- like I said, this a minor quibble and it's all out of love and respect. Keep doing what you're doing :) The only reason I brought it up is because I would have wanted to hear this advice myself. It's a very small change that you can immediately incorporate dozens of times per video. On a personal note, my parents immigrated to the US 30 years ago and they still have trouble with articles lol, so I know it can be confusing!
I think saying the names his way gives the channel even greater reputation, as being completely unorthodox and therefore of real true value. Otherwise it would be just the same old 2 cents, which is not, presumably, why you are here?
This is absolutely gorgeous! Fantastic presentation as always. I’m currently awaiting a call from my AD for the sub 126619lb. I thought after that I’d finally be done with Rolex. That I could move on to Royal Oak. I may have to add me name to the list for this beauty though.
I have never been a fan of the datejust but this size, and that dial make this a perfect time to pick up one.
I used to think the slate (dark rhodium) dial was the best DJ41 dial. Now, after seeing this green, I'm not so sure.
I have this exact same watch, I must be in the minority as i find this configuration perfect. I personally find that the DJ with fluted bezel and Jubilee bracelet reminds me of a watch that your Grandad would have worn whereas on the Oyster with the smooth bezel, the DJ is more versatile and under the radar.

Had a lot of expectations for a green Datejust. Was actually waitinfg for this in 36mm. But also disappointed by this Mint Green.
True , this green is not my type of green either , for me blue dial is still the best datejust

I am rather a 36 mm guy ^^ I met my AD last week and I plan to buy this one next year in 36 mm fluted bezel and jubilee for my 50 birthday (already have a 2019 OP 36 mm 369, sunburst blue).

Saw it in Geneva 2 weeks ago. But... nowadays Rolex is a definite no no to me. Not buying from a brand that treats owners of Rolex watches like shit. And not buying from gangsters at 2 x the price.

My “perfect “ rolex simply doesn’t exist. It would be an oyster perpetual 36 with a date , or a datejust 36 with smooth bezel with satin finish not polished. Too bad
Get a Datejust and brush the case. Can be done in 5 minutes.
