The reformulation of Musc Ravageur is excellent. It's much more friendly. The musk in the original was too strong. I like how they toned down the musk and gave it more gourmand qualities.
Hard to believe but sometimes, just occasionally, a reformulation can lead to a better fragrance.
So where do I buy the original at?

It took long journey for me to finally find my second niche perfume Musc Ravageur. I tried many perfumes for various brands, some are good but nothing gave me this instant fall in love . I am hyping myself while waiting it to be shipped :D and I can see the same excitment in you . I like it, good energy & review :)
Musc Ravageur is the goat of fragrances imo. It’s so addictive…on my skin it’s a soft spice…loooooove it!

This is a perfect sunny fall day fragrance, its warm and a little bit of mysterious. It reminds me of the feeling Herod gives me but not similar AT ALL.
Oh yes! Herod is another favorite of mine! So delicious!

I literally just got a 10 ml decant of this 3 days ago and you described it to a tee.It has an off putting, ointment like smell.I was really shocked because it is spoken so highly of.I figured maybe it’s a fragrance that you have to spend time with and it grows on you?...Anyway, you rock and sweet bug picture.
It starts off a little weird, but did you end up liking the dry down? It’s so yummy once it settles down 😊
@@kristenrocksfrags8584 I fell asleep shortly after spraying it on myself and haven’t revisited it yet cause I have a few new ones to try out but there was something appealing about it as well as off putting.I just started with my fragrance infatuation this year so I probably just don’t have a mature smeller/nose yet.

I think it has a pretty natural smell to it. You would probably like the older formulation more. That’s way more animalic and musky.

If anyone has ever walked past a Cinnabon and thought to themselves, “damn that smells yum” ... then Musc Ravageur is a must try. All of the guilty pleasure and non of the calories. In fact, if your other half appreciates it too ... you might even loose a few. Nice to hear mutual appreciation for this frag.

That's lovely that you have a good scent memory associated with the fragrance which always adds value. I personally used to wear fragrances for others and have quit that game. I now really enjoy indulging in enjoying the scent bubble around me and catching it now and again. There's honestly nothing quite this particular scent on the market and I do hope you have wonderful life experiences that you can associate with it going forward. They should of left it alone, now all I smell is just cinnamon, meh. I’d rather wear Dior Leather Oud or Boadicea the Victorious Mayfair or Oud Ispahan, it’s not the same and not animalic at all to my nose anymore, especially for the price there are better fragrances out there if your looking for a sweet animalic although maybe if you layered it with more musk it could work.
Sex and cinnabons are both very enjoyable. I will have to check this out.
