A Toyota BDM told me yesterday that Toyota Genuine water pumps don't leak if you run Toyota Genuine SLLC . I told him to stick to sales and leave the fixing to the experts!! I said that's like saying GUN126's don't have DPF issues :D
MJHMech I work for a company that has nearly 400 regos across the whole group. That includes everything. One of the mechanics told me that he had never changed a water pump on a hilux for the whole time he’s worked there and some of the hiluxs he said had nearly 500k on them.
Wurthit 123, I’m in the U.K. and have owned my Hilux from 11k miles my water pump started to leak and leave deposits on the cambelt cover before 40k miles (just out of 3year warranty period), To say I’m unimpressed is an understatement!

Hey buddy any chance you have the part number for the genuine Toyota 2 piece pump? When I rang my local dealer they didn’t know there was 2 different types and could only find one part number for both the prado and Hilux
got to change my water pump next week on my 2014 hilux, what other stuff would you recommend I change while I'm down in there? vehicle has on 91000 KMs

Aisin also seems to make the 2-piece model, it's WPT-113 for the pump itself and WPT-109 for the pump and mounting piece.
