my main problem with Benyar is they claimed steel case, but as soon as I got it I realised it was chromed zinc. Then I found it uses some weird size movement so I couldn't even replace the case with a stainless one.

In the ads of this type of watches the presenter usually dips the watch in a glass of water. Surely a more realistic scenario than several tens of metres of water. Divers are picky about their equipment so none will be drowning because of false advertising. ; )

I absolutely love my Cadisen C8179 "Royal Oak". I have 8.25" wrists so this thing looks dope on my wrist. Perfect size. Plus the finishing is great, the Tapisserie dial also has sunburst. Stellar watch. Also your opinions are insane. 2/10? More like 9/10.

i have the pagani version, 42 mm, which is barely the same brand. i also really love it, it's a wonderful watch who works like a charm. the only thing i dont like is the butterfly bracelet which open alone all the time because it is stuck between my leather jacket and my hand. so eash side open together.; all the time. and because the construction, you cant change the bracelet to another. it's too bad because i love it but dont wear it often.

I have the Benyar (Rolex Explorer homage) with a white dial and really like it. My only real complaint is that there's little contrast between the white dial and the hands and indices which makes it difficult to read at glance. If I had it tondo over I'd have selected the black dial version as shown in your video. Oh, and the lume is useless but for for the price I'm not complaining.

2/10 for the cadisen. Just because you have a small wrist!!!! Everything about this watch is very good. The bracelet. ( not strap) is brushed to a very high standard. With screws not push pins. Fit and finish is very good. And with a seiko movement it gets a 8/10. Sorry but your video gets a 4/10
For judging watches because they don’t fit you 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻 . You think the miyota 8215 movement is great really 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 I would say it is just ok. It’s old and out dated . Very loud and only Wine when the rotor turns one way. And don’t forget non hacking. The seiko is much better. And that’s not just my opinion it’s a fact.

  • @jperryhal
    @jperryhal 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

the new version of the Cadison Royal Oak comes in a 42mm size. Also, I think it is absolutely incorrect to rate Cadisen watches below Benyar. I mean the Benyar case is not even stainless steel. The Cadisen finish is much better than any of the other brands listed here. I think your rating of the Cadisen is based solely on the fact that it does not fit you. Consider also that it is a very close look to the original Royal Oak. If you don't like this Cadisen, it's likely that a Royal Oak is not for you. That does not mean that the $40000 watch is bad either, obviously.

Also Cadisen makes a smaller version of that watch. Also I think you ranked these by how you liked them on YOUR wrist, not value for money as Corgeut had a signifigant build flaw in the crown that bottomed out and can't be turned in all the way.

I thought you were going to put the Lige in second place. Honestly I can't afford a submariner without selling a bunch of investments lol so I am happy to buy a Homage watch for now and the Lige I have keeps time perfectly fine and the timer works etc, so it is a fully functioning watch and the only downside is it is not a real Rolex. But if you buy for the looks then I can't fault Lige.
I have bought other cheap watches most notably in Bali in 2009 where the Montblanc couldn't keep the time from word go and the Rolex stopped working after a few days.
It is nice to see these cheaper Homage watches are still decent watches and it is only the copying of more expensive watches that seems to be the sticking point for most.

Lige looks like a solid brand. For $40, that's impressive that it lasted 3 years of physical labor. Invicta has some great high quality budget watches as well.

You're aware that those metal things that keep the watch from falling off your wrist aren't called straps right?

I’m enjoying your watch review. But I had to pause it. Just a little fyi. When the watch has a steel or any type of precious metal holding it in to your wrist that is a bracelet. Cloth, rubber or any type of synthetic material would be a strap. Ok back to your awesome video. Carry on lol

Just some constructive criticism. I appreciate the video but what’s with all the flowers? I understand your trying to make a nice visual presentation but for a watches that are predominantly Mens watches this was a little odd. Just saying. And hey commenters don’t be hating I know there’s a lot of women rocking 40& watches lol. That’s what I love about watches they are unisex anyone can wear any shape and/or style that appeals to them 😊

@@MensFashionFiles I think that your evaluation of the Cadisen is a bit unfair becaues you clearly have small wrists and so, yeah, the watch will look terrible on you. However, for someone like me with flat and braod platform-shaped wrists whose daily diver is a Tissot Seastar 2000 Professional (46mm, even bigger than that Cadisen), that watch would look normal on me and the others would look like toys. Trust me, it's true and it sucks because all the nicest watches are like 35-42mm.

I don't get it. If you can make an automatic watch for 55-100 dollars, why make a knock-off? Why not make somethin unique or interesting and market it to people that don't want the same looking watch as all other brands make?

Lol, only watch guys don't like big watches. Everyone else loves them. I always find that funny. I hvave an Orient that never got any compliments but my Invicta always gets compliments from non-watch people. I have a mix of big and smaller watches. 40mm looks absolutely tiny to me and aren't my favorite though I do have some. I like 42-46 and I don't have large wrists.

If you really want like a Rolex or a nice luxury watch here's what I did to get my watches okay so first I go to a trusted dealer whether it's a website or a jeweler and I bought a Rolex day date with a lot of problems like broken movement broken Crystal scratches etc for around $650 after I got the watch service for 500 in total it costed me around 1,150 for watch that would have costed me much much more

The Corguet Seamaster Aqua Terra homage is of terrible quality. Mine broke after 5 months and the Corguet official store would not honor the one year guarantee. DONT buy this watch and DONT buy from this store unless you want to waste your money. There are other homages to choose from such as the Pagani or Phylida and others. Stay away from the Corguet .

Cadisen has come a long way since this video. But the other watches you have on here are the worst to pick. Steeldive, Addiesdive, and Pagani are the best one to have picked. The Lige is trash and still is.

I agree these are junk, and normally, I would never buy one, except I saw the green Lige, on Temu, with solid steel back. It said regularly $79, often on sale for $47. I would still have ignored it, except the price was LESS THAN $11, including delivery!!! I couldn't resist, and bought it. It looks great and seems to work fine. Even if it fails after a few months, at that price, I wont care.
