We know better what is wrong and what is not. We're advising to give just 1-2 cloves not the whole garlic. And even dogs don't like garlic. You don't know if you give 1-2 cloves, your dog will eat it or not. And infact we've share other bunch of solutions as well. The pet person can try those as well. I hope you do so you can take care of my puppy he won't eat and is vomiting
if your dog is picky eater here's what to do:
1. give him plain dog food.
2. if your dog did not eat it, remove his plate then give it again after 4 hrs. This is to let your dog know that if he didnt eat, his food will disappear. do this every 4 hrs until your dog eat the food.
3. unless during training, dont give your dog anything, even when they are acting cute,
4. with or without left overs, remove his plate
5. give command before giving the food.,
6. make sure to follow strict schedule for meal time
This is not applicable to teacup puppies. Either they starved to death or give them their favorite food. Or else $ gone

Thanks for the bone broth! I have been trying everything! I had some left over bone broth from a pot roast and it seriously did the trick.
I just throw a few pieces of bone or chicken to make the broth… add vegetables but no onion or garlic.

I'm having an issue at the moment. Sometimes I let my parents look after her for a few days as they are attached to her, she eats normally there but not at home. I think maybe it's because my parents give tue dogs dinner at 5pm but I work from afternoon till 9pm. I really have to encourage her to eat

My dog got ill last year and required an operation to survive essentially the vets opened him up and cleaned him out in their words he was full of gunk. Its been a year since then and he was going ok, he has been on a special diet of meats veggies and supplements and he was recovering very well but all of a sudden he stopped eating its been a hard week of prompting and varying his diet but he just wont eat... we fear he may pass of starvation or exhaustion if so imma say that he was the best pet a man could ask for, my poodle Obi

What type of food was your dog eating? The news won’t talk about it, but dogs everywhere are developing pancreatitis bc of changes in how the dog food companies get their ingredients. My dog almost died from Purina pro plan that my vet demanded I give him. Even after he got sick, my vet recommended to only let him eat the same food that got him sick. The vet tried to convince me it was a medicine he was taking. Something really sketchy is happening with vets and dog food companies
@@memm2417 ok well first off theres a great book called forever dog by rodney habib and dr karen shaw becker, and youll have to do your reseach but i feed mine typically either minced chicken, turkey or pork aswell as some steamed veggies, like brocoli or sweet potatoes or pumpkin and if i can get my hands on it either raw or cooked chicken heart and maybe liver from time to time. So that all goes into his bowl with a raw egg if i have eggs and of course i give him his supplements for joint support kidneys, ect. But i really insist you do your own research its amazing the thing people feed their dogs, like rabbit ears, heads the raw eggs or egg shells, hearts livers and all that

They didn’t say to feed your dog garlic directly. They said to cook the liver or food with garlic so it can absorb the smell/flavor! I do really hope your baby had a full recovery 😞

Every couple of weeks or so my dog won't eat in the morning and I can hear it stomach making noises. Sometimes she throws up but not very often. Later on in the afternoon she's fine again. Sometimes I think maybe I feed her too much of my food like maybe she's eating too much or something. She is starting to get older
I don't think it's best to give your dog human food I have a beagle and while I was away at work my roommate gave him 4 pizza crusts and a whole banana and nowy beagle is having stomach problems and runny poops and didn't even want his breakfast this morning so I don't recommend giving your dog human food no matter if the dog looks fine after feeding them human food for years or not, have a nice day/night I hope your doggie is okay😁

Isn't garlic toxic to dogs? So sautéing chicken in garlic would be bad for dogs, and bone broth if it contains garlic or onions could also be bad. Just curious.
Little garlic can be given to dogs and when we cook garlic its properties changes from raw garlic to cooked garlic. Thanks

Hey same here. He only want to eat boiled chicken breast now. He got diarrhea and vomit 4 days ago. We went to vet and he been only eating chicken and rice till now.

What I found really easy, quick and not so costly for my puppy was to use boiled chicken neck (with a little seasoning) and the broth water left back, in his dry dog food. He liked it alot. I was getting worried because he was really picky with what he wanted to eat and wasn't eating for a whole 3 days.
He's a shitzu and what my mother did for her previous sick dog toi was to give him rice and chicken neck as food.

Even before She’s eating too small and until now she’s already 7months old and she is shih tzu by the way she has all the recommended vaccines and deworming but still she eat too small even i did all my best to give her food that sometimes excite her like giving her boiled/fried pork liver and I also giving her Vitamins . And now i am more worried she’s loosing weight and she pooped once other day which is not normal .😞 hope i can get some advice from you thank you ❤️
Hi Glenn nothing to worry about in this. First of all increase the daily playing time to almost 20-25 mins apart from the walk and shift to some high quality food like acana or farmina. This shall solve your problem. Thanks
We got a new dog just last day in the night.
She is a 1 yr old little one.
We gave him some dog food for him to eat and water, plus we gave her a cage with a big warm rug on the inside for her to be cozy.
Everything seemed so fine at 1st and the next day(which is today) we gave her a little walk so that she could know the place a little. But all fo the sudden she started"nosing away" her food. She ate some of the food last nighy but left some on the bowl. But now she barely eats. But she still acts fine,drinks water, and becomes happy when she sees me. Can someone help me
Change of place is a very big concern for dogs. You have to make your dog comfortable with the place. Love and affection is required at this moment. And within few days your dog will be fine.

My 2 months pup suddenly stops eating 🥺.
Last night he finished his food and drink his water, but today he suddenly stops eating and its been 16 hours since his last meal 🥺 but he's still playful and active. we usually put him in a cage because he's not yet fully vaccinated 🥺.
Is this normal or should I bring bring him to the vet?

Rice is absolutely fine for dogs, i recommend adding non-veg and some fiber rich veggies to the diet.

Hi! I have 3 dogs, one of them has a strange habit. When it's time to eat, we can tell she's hungry but she sits out until the other 2 are done eating. After they're done, she eats their leftovers then goes to her own bowl. How can we get her to eat with the other 2 dogs?
You need to start feeding your 3rd dog first and then the other 2 dogs..along with that you need to made them eat on your command, all the 3 so that they listen to you when you say eat.

@@Monkoodog Unfortunately we've already tried that, we tried feeding her first and she refuses to eat. And if she doesn't eat, the others don't eat. I thought maybe it's the bowl, tried changing it, even put the food on a flat mat and she won't eat. Does she do this because she feels like she's the bottom of the pack? My one dog is very territorial and I think he may have scared her from eating. We even tried feeding her in another room.

Yeah my Chihuahua was being a little pregnant petty biatch. Her previous owners and over her other 3 litters she’s had in the past she ate tons of fast food with them. So she’s really bad with hotdogs, chicken nuggets. After she had her puppy though she will eat just about anything we gave her but doesn’t like me watching her sometimes. She also has a grown habit to burry and hide any food she doesn’t feel like eating if we give it to her, super pitiful. Definitely some food for thought. That is one thing I missed about grandpas dog is he had meal times and knew.
Our dog has a lot of ticks we keep removing it but there's more and my question is does ticks affect my dogs eating and he eats nothing but hatdog well sometimes chicken

Take your dog to the Vets. Our boxer hasn’t eaten in 2 days. They put her on fluids(IVs) she’s back today, hopefully she will try to eat soon. Dog yogurts might help. Probiotics, easy on the stomach, and may help if he has gastro intestinal issues. , but definitely, straight to the vets

My issue is more complicated BECAUSE I FEED HER PEOPLE FOOD AND AHE DOESNT WANT ANY OF IT... not cheese, not eggs, not steak, Not chicken, not green beans or carrots ... Not chicken liver or gizzards... Not pizza ok well I get the point and list is far shorter for what she will eat .. and MUST BE HAND FED EACH BITE OR WONT TOUCH IT AT ALL NOT FOR NOTHING!

A LITTLE BACKGROUND MAY 26TH 2021 I HAD TO PUT MY 13-YEAR-OLD GERMAN SHEPHERD DOWN I STILL HAVE HIS BEST FRIEND MY LITTLE RED PITBULL GRACIE THEY WERE LIKE PEANUT BUTTER AND JELLY ABOUT A WEEK BEFORE HE PASSED SHE BEGAN TAKING ONE OF HIS WHATEVER WAS GOING ON LIKE HE WOULD ONLY EAT CERTAIN THINGS HAND FED ALSO SOMETIMES HE DIDN'T WANT TO HAND FED SOMETIMES HE WANTED IT WARMED UP A LITTLE SOMETIMES SOMETHING HE LOVED HE WANTED NOTHING TO DO WITH AN OLD SUDDEN SHE ASSUMED THESE SAME THINGS... AND SINCE THEN HAS INCREASINGLY GOTTEN WORSE AND WORSE TO THE POINT WHERE LIKE I SAID THE ONLY THINGS I CAN GET HER TO EAT ARE THE ONLY THING SHE'LL EAT AND THEN HAVE TO BE A CERTAIN WAY AND THAT IS HAND FED GENTLY AND IF I DROP IT OR SHE DROPS IT I HAVE TO PICK IT UP FOR HER AND HOLD IT UNTIL SHE GETS IT DONE IF SHE DROPS IT IT'S LIKE NO SECOND FLOOR SHE'S NOT TOUCHING IT... NOW WITH ALL THAT SAID SHE AND I HAD SOMETHING IN COMMON AND THAT WAS WE LOVE TO EAT WE LOVE GOOD FOOD WE ENJOY OUR MEAL TIME AND SNACK AND REWARD TIME BUT THE ONLY THING I CAN SAY IS SHE'S RATHER FLAT OR SAD I SAY THAT BECAUSE HER TAIL USED TO GO AROUND LIKE A LITTLE HELICOPTER SHE WOULD GET ALL EXCITED AND DO A BUNCH OF BOWING AND SHE WOULD EVEN CRAWL LIKE HE WAS IN THE ARMY TRYING TO GET UNDER A FENCE IF YOU SAID THAT SHE WAS CUTE AND SHE HASN'T BEEN DOING ANY OF THAT FOR ANY REASON SHE LOOKS DROOPY THE ONLY WAY I CAN EXPAND IT IS SAD I DON'T KNOW IF SHE IS MOURNING HIM LIKE I AM? BUT BUT I DON'T BELIEVE SHE'S SICK EITHER HER POOPS ARE NORMAL... CAN YOU DRINK AND WATER JUST LIKE SHE ALWAYS HAS AND SHE SLEEPS A LOT BUT SHE ALWAYS HAS... SHE STILL LETS ME KNOW WHEN SHE NEEDS TO GO OUTSIDE OR IS HAPPY TO GO OUTSIDE IF I INVITE OR OFFER TO HER... DID ALL THAT SAID I CAN SAY THAT I DO NOT HAVE HER ON ANY PREVENTATIVE MEDICINES AND THEY LIVE IN THE COUNTRY BUT SHES ITCHY TO CHOOSE AT HER TIPS THE TAIL AND HER FEET AND LATELY SHE STARTED RUBBING HER EYES LIKE CRAZY... SHE DOES HAVE LIKE AN ALLERGY-LOOKING RANGE AROUND THEM AS WELL AS HER MOUTH & MUZZLE... I BELIEVE I HAVE LITERALLY TRIED EVERY SINGLE THING I COULD FIND OUT THERE FOR DIY TO NO AVAIL NOT AT ALL.... I CAN'T really afford to take her for a bunch of tests or to try to find out if she as allergies and what she's allergic to and all this type of thing I I love her all that I have and if I could give her one of my organs to save her any kind of misery I absolutely would but instead I try to DIY her as much as possible I literally believe that I try to every single thing I've found The apple cider vinegars and used in every possible way from consumpumtion 2 baths diet changes bathing foot soaks baking soda baking powder starch essential oils and vitamins minerals I really believe I I tried everything Even the Benadryl which have come to realize that they'll just put them to sleep so they're not chewing on themselves so much not necessarily helping them or healing.. so I cut that out I really don't know what else to do. I started looking in Florida by my dog moment high value food because that's what she gets every day I cook my dogs every three days for the last 3-5 years... They get liver is a gizzards they get energy to get bones they get chews toys blankets pillows clothes spoiled tHata what they get And I don't know if it is something physical for her or something mental or even something different and then it times it changed all of our schedules have been unable regain any normalcy... And we have to move and everything's inpules and stack and boxes... I know that she's possibly confused about what's going on but I did take her with me to the vet with him so he would have the moral support and she would not be looking for only came home but since we got home that day we basically laid in bed depressed as hell and crying... We miss him.. and have been unable to take our lives back yet I don't know what to do and I'll take any advice please help if you having the ideas thank you

Its 9:00 pm and noticed my dog have gained severe weight loss, doesnt eat, bad diarrhea and extremely weak and the first thing we did is to make him drink sugar water then after a few minutes he can walk and went to poop and came back and took a nap. All we can do is just pray for him and hoping i'll see him better in the morning.
Edit: I forgot to update u guys for 4 days and now I came to say that my dog died the next morning I woke up. 😭

You can buy some dextrose powder and a syringe just take off the needle and give your dog some of the dextrose powder mixed with water. My dog just ate!!! Praise the Lord! :)

Try doing a virtual or phone call with the closest vet, you can even try going to a human doctor. They may be showing signs of infection, try getting a prescription of antibiotics for them by a doctor and feeding them. If they don’t want to eat try giving them some electrolyte boosting liquids such as pedialyte, it boosts the electrolytes in their system and taste just like water.
You have to consult a VET and please do that immediately.

I’m tired of my dog throwing up because he won’t eat. The vet says he’s not sick. So he just won’t eat unless it human food. He literally gets upset and barks if we don’t give him our food.

My dog is 3 months old and 3.4 lbs. He usually only eats when fed with hand and he vomited and had very light diarrhea not too bad but not as solid and a little lighter color than when he does his solid number 2s. He also doesn’t like to drink water as much.
