I was adopted as an infant. At 12 my hair started falling out. I was one of the first minoxidil patients. My mother ran everywhere with me. I’ve been through black stage makeup, wigs, painful extensions. No doctor could figure it out. Blood tests. Hair everywhere else. I only found out at 53 that my biological mother had the same problem. I shave it off now and use full lace wigs, but it’s heartbreaking and every tear she cried I felt. I hope this helps her.
@@Juhcoutinho. I tell myself it’s vanity. I tell myself just walk out like other women can, with no hair. Nope, even alone and remote I must have hair on my head. They’ve come so far with full lace wigs. They saved my mental health. Albeit expensive, so I learned to install it myself, order directly from China and do my own nails to offset the price. Everyone has their own burdens. I loved her ending. 🥰
I feel you on that. I had a full head of hair up until 2020. I started shaving my head, too, my husband was/is really supportive. I use 5% minoxidil, take the coveted combo of spironolactone and birth control pills, and use red light therapy. I have a high protein diet, I never heat style my hair, I wash my head every single day. NOTHING helps. All that will help is if I get hair transplant surgery.
@@Momofukudoodoowindu me too. But I don’t have enough growing hair in the back to use for the front. I’m just done. Either it’s a full lace wig or bald and I’m not ready for bald. 😢
@@sammyinbrooklyn I know. I wasn't ready for the bald either. I tell you, now that my hair is shaved off, I notice a lot more of other areas now... I got a rhinoplasty because my nose was TOO damn big. And now I'm on a workout program trying to lose weight, because I can't hide behind my hair anymore. And then I got my eyebrows microbladed because I needed more dramatic makeup. Its definitely a balancing act. Shaving my head made me realize that my HAIR was the staple of my image. And then once it was gone I was scowling at other parts of myself. 🤦🏻♀️😂 being a woman, I swear!!
So happy for her! I have male pattern baldness that began when I was 17. I could cry in my bedroom about my hair loss. I started taking Dutasteride and it fixed the problem. I'm so glad I did my research and fought it, and gained my confidence back. Other people just don't understand how much hair loss can affect your self-confidence.
My hair hangs past my butt. This spring I realized that most of the hair on top of my head is disappearing. I’ve been growing my hair long since I was 40. I’m 63. I suspect the medication my cardiologist put me on a year and a half ago. I am devastated. Most nights I cry myself to sleep. At this point I’m not sure what I’m going to do. Cut off all the rest of my hair or just wear scarves to hide what’s gone. I don’t have money to go to a specialist. It shouldn’t be this way. So many people don’t understand.
I hope you will be able to find a solution soon. I've been shaving my head since I was 22 because I was almost bald by then, but I've gained confidence with my new look. Why don't you try wigs or go to a saloon? Usually a stylist can help you find a haircut or a solution and they charge way less than a specialist. Good luck!☺️
Oh, you poor lady. As a lady with butt length hair too I wouldn't cut your hair. Its too drastic. Have you tried Biotin supplements ? There's also a hair care system created by a company in Rotherham that tackles female hair loss issues. I think they are called 'WoW. They are quite reasonable price-wise and ppl race about them. Also maybe see if the cardiologist might try an alternative medication. Their view, I believe, is that they are dealing with your heart issues so hair loss is the lesser evil. I would never cut my hair at my age-58, so I feel your pain.
I am 29/F. I had a full head of thick hair up until 2020... and then one day my hair started shedding (lots of stress contributors). All of what I do is only preventive, and if I stop, it will all shed and all effort lost. I have PCOS and androgen alopecia, as well.
My hair is falling out in clumps and I’m convinced I have the post Covid hair loss side effect. Got my blood work done to check my thyroid and hormones and my hormones seemed to have problems and so I’m on medication for that but we’ll see how it helps. I know how you feel I’m so sorry!
Have you tried PRP yet ? That is the only thing that helped my alopecia. Plus it’s completely safe ! They draw your blood spin it in a machine and they inject the plasma into your scalp. It works wonders initially it’s a three treatment plan, after that you may need a maintenance once or twice a year.
I want to go to a place like this because I’m 75 and my hair is very thin now and I used to have very thick hair. I never thought there would be a place like this. Can you tell us the name of the lotion for the scalp or is this a worldwide hair growth clinic that can be found in the US?

It can be done by a dermatologist

Try WpW. It has good write-ups. Read literature on it.

Why does she look like older version of lindsay lohan? Beautiful to me
hello nicole kitmans twin!!
Is the doctor wearing a wig?
Wait, this feels misleading. One tiny spray of that fixed her whole hair? Why didn't they name the spray?
