Did this require any specialty tools? I'm about to do this to my 2005 SC430 that I just bought in not the best shape with 180k miles and no records. I assume it hasn't been changed in 100k.
No special tools were used.
is there a way to inspect the timing belt?
From memory I think the only way is to remove the left hand camshaft cover. There is a fair bit parts to remove to get to it.
What is the interval for timing belt...100K miles?
