@@yeet3279 I did learn it in two weeks, which was largely helped by the fact that I was on vacation for one of those weeks. I watched 1-2 videos a day, and in the car I would just practice the new concepts I learned. After learning all of them, I started doing an insane amount of solves (like 5k+ per month for 3 months) which took my global from ~15 to 8.5.
I think PBL is easier to learn because the concept isn't too hard to grasp, but PBL is definitely much harder to perfect than CSP, because CSP is just doing one alg with 15 seconds of inspection while PBL is two algs with no inspection
I know I’m probably not at the right time stage to learn PBL but I’m sub 30 and want to get top class at square 1. And how would you recommend I learn CSP?
My main problem with OBL is that you would have to pause more than PBL, and you can barely lookahead during CS while you can lookahead during EO for PBL. OBL saves a ton of moves, but I think it is not worth the pause, and it is only worth it if you can somehow predict it during CS.
This sheet should tell you what to do for every case: docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1bLhYXaW1HGGTypOQGOJvnS2L40gKXHlbc8zJ3ZXYeTE/edit?usp=sharing, under the 2nd and 3rd tabs on the bottom. For your base though, I would align the J perm block and hold its headlights to the right and do N/J, then do N/N
Sorry bro he didn’t reply and it’s kinda late. However I would recommend increasing SPS and improving recognition by grinding solves. You’ll definitely be able to get sub 16, and if you want to do better than that learn CSP. It’s so much easier to learn than PBL.
0:32, okay imma just stick to learning the rest of zbll...
Watch the rest of the vid :( It's actually not that bad, ZBLL is much harder in my opinion
Lol I learned PBL from this tutorial and it took me two weeks. Just ignore the number, I only learned about 40 short algs.
@@OxzowachiAlt did you actually learn it that fast, how much did you practise daily on average?

i remember wanting to learn this from your playlist, starting, but then getting tendinitis which made me stop cubing altogether :')
damn thats so unfortunate
wow, im so sorry for you, but do you still have it?

Congrats on 1K subs Sam!
Thanks!!!

I just finished CSP two days ago and joked with my friend about learning 2-alg PBL... then this video shows up in my recommended...
A sign you should learn it :)

Is there a doc for the 70 Algs?
Yep, right here along with all the other cases: docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1bLhYXaW1HGGTypOQGOJvnS2L40gKXHlbc8zJ3ZXYeTE/edit?usp=sharing
@@CubeMasterYT How do i know which are 2 alg PBL algs?
I’ll learn these in my summer holiday but I am only sub25 now
I know I’m probably not at the right time stage to learn PBL but I’m sub 30 and want to get top class at square 1. And how would you recommend I learn CSP?
I can barely memorize EP algs lol maybe in a decade Ill try this
I'm going to be honest, a lot of PBL algs are much easier than EP algs, but yeah you should probably learn EP first
i thought this was about 2x2 lol. i baught my first square 1 yesterday :D

@@CubeMasterYT okay, thanks! :)
Can every PBL be solved with 2 algs?
Yep, all of them be solved with 2 algs and still 10 slices or less, excluding parity cases :)
@@CubeMasterYT ok, what should I do for the parity cases rather than learn csp?
Parity doesn't really work with this PBL method, which is why I recommend learning CSP first
@@CubeMasterYT ok i'll try learning csp. thank you :) btw congrats on 1k subs
Thank you!
How many algorithms are there in pbl

Not if you include floating buffers (I think that's what they're called)
@@CubeMasterYT well technically you can just rotate/setup it to UFR so anyone that knows full 3style with 1 buffer knows full floating
