It is currently 4:45 in the morning as I am writing this. I stayed up all night watching Adobe Illustrator tutorials when suddenly I come across this video again. It's been more than two years since I saw this video when it came out that same day and I always postponed learning PBL out of fear and trepidation because of the bad experience I had getting comfortable with OBL, but I think I'm now able to learn this. I will come back to this comment to tell my past self that I have managed to finish learning PBL once and for all.
Hi! Just went to a comp and one of my friends who doesn’t even know CSP just beat me by over a second in average and I’m sad now. Is 2-Alg PBL a good option to become sub-9? (I usually average better than him but comp nerves happened)
2-alg pbl is a great option to become sub-9 and beyond, but it is a long-term investment and will take months of practice to get back to your times with cpep
@@OxzowachiAlt Great! Thanks! Next comp I think I can go to is in august so maybe I can do it. I've started learning yesterday and I'm currently sitting on the P,S,K vid. Is this good progress or should I spend more time learning?
@@Square-one123 so you already learned everything in cube masters pbl playlist up to PSK already? if so that is probably too fast, whatever you need to do to make it stick
I use 7-slice algs for all G/E mirrors which can be found here (they are adj/adj cancelled into P/S): docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1VQNYNwdOLqqBkacHcfYtEBst22FOVhH9EAhTOYOZTgo/edit?usp=drivesdk
Hey I'm currently averaging around 25 seconds, looking to hit sub 20 before my next comp in about a month. What should I focus on most? Currently using scallop kite for CS, co eo, cp and intuitive ep with mostly adj adj algs. I find it hard to search for resources or decent direction on how to progress with squan in general. Thanks
It sounds like your biggest problems may be your turning and recognition. You can join the Square-1 server and send a video of your solves for anyone there to critique discord.gg/89y8YFsZ :)
CSP you should definitely know by 12-10 average, and for 2-alg PBL you can do anywhere from 6-13 global just depending on your turning speed. I've never been one of the faster turners so I learned 2-alg PBL at 12 global
doing certain algs on certain cases from certain angles can give you certain cases
WHOAAAAAAAA
i didn't know that mind blown 🤯

You got this. I did a stupid and jumped into PBL without realizing how hard it is. I wish I learned obl before starting lol
These video’s are actually very high quality. Commenting and liking for TH-cam algorithm boost.
Thank you!
Thanks, I'll try apply these tips to my blind solves in the future :)
very cool when i find motivation i will learn

@@OxzowachiAlt I’m around 1/4 of the way thru PSK but yeah I’ve been grinding the other vids algs so I don’t forget. Thanks so much!
What do you do if you get e perm on top and gb perm on bottom?

PBL is cool
cpep sucks (as a person who uses cpep)
I’m sorry but how do you do E/Z in Sam’s “rest of no double parity” vid? I’m struggling to figure it out, and it’s not in the all sheet he provided.
you'll just need to learn the algs (6 slicers) for those:
E Z: 10/-3-3/2-1/-3-3/41/-3-3/-10
Z E: 10/-3-3/-12/-3-3/14/-3-3/-10
@@Oxzowachi thank you!
oh this is cool I should try it out
Yay you’re back
Nice. How much of OBL do you use and do you use full csp?
I use full OBL and CSP :)
@@Oxzowachi that’s awesome. How long did it take to learn
About 3 months for CSP and a week for OBL
A week????
@@Oxzowachi Oops should've started learning OBL instead... It's okay tho
this is great, thanks!

@@Oxzowachi thanks! Just joined. Will surely be a great resource from the looks of it!
Does pbl need csp? Or there ar cases that you solve with parity
yes, you should learn csp before pbl
I don't know squan
But also me : *Nice*
How fast should i have to be or recommended to be to learn 2 alg pbl and csp?

Any tips on reducing lockups on square 1? Ye Srry i suck
I guess just make sure you have the MGC on tight tensions and practice smooth, controlled turning where you focus on not locking up
WOAH I WAS IN YOUR VIDEO kind of
I hope I answered your question from that comment :)
@@Oxzowachi you did i am a professional at square-1 now (jk lol) but i am half done with csp and i learned the obl shapes from your vid
wow nice! keep it up!
@@Oxzowachi thanks
Which square 1 cube is this?

OMG HI DUJAK
MY COMMENT GOT A ❤ FROM MY CUBING IDOL OXZOWACHI
omg hi dujak
Mfw Dylan makes it look like he's gonna make a better pbl tutorial but doesn't :(
Nah lol, at least until I find a way easier way to do it like I did for the OBL tutorial. Sam is legit a beast for doing what he did
Omg
HELLO DUJAK BLOCKBUMDING
