Most of the tutorials out there that teach how to solve the Square-1 use the Vandenbergh method, and I think the popular ones are all pretty good. Expanding off of that into intermediate/advanced, there are several good videos out there teaching full CP and full EO, as well as EPs and advanced CS. Usually people would learn those from different videos/sources, and I do have a few on my channel, but would also recommend Brandon Lin's old videos as they also work pretty well
With school starting I'm definitely going to slow down on videos, but that is definitely high on my priority list, so hopefully before the end of this year. If you do want a personal critique on your solves, reply to this comment with a link and I might be able to leave a few tips on your video based on your average :)
Note: nobody actually uses roux as you've described, most LBL users call their method roux instead.
Good blockbuilding solvers (like us and Ricci) use Lin

Cube Master ok thank you for the advice
And if you don’t know them, now’s the time to learn them
Glad to actually know these!
All of them? I would actually be quite impressed if you know all of these terms, very little people know them all lol
I’m also surprised at myself for knowing these, I just got in to squan and learned like every term and then couldn’t learn the algsets
wait was lin invented by brandon lin?
Nah, common misconception. It was invented by some other Lin (Tse-Kan Lin)
Oh
Brandon Lin had a video on it.
What’s the alg to solve pJ/pJ?
Check out my PBL tutorials, or use this doc: docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1bLhYXaW1HGGTypOQGOJvnS2L40gKXHlbc8zJ3ZXYeTE/edit#gid=0
I might get a square 1
Hello what cube are you using in the videos
The cube is a Proshop Yuxin Square-1 with Black on bottom :)
I switched from lbl to Lin recently
Nice, you finally switched to the best blockbuilding method!
Now learn the best actual method, Vandenbergh
@@CubeMasterYT best blockbuilding method is Lin+PLL+1
