Thanks for the playthroughs. Following this series! Have the all in pledge and we finally played with my group for the first time a few days ago. It was a alot of fun.
Thank you! I've been having a blast with the game between shoots too. It's actually a lot more difficult than I initially thought once you play correctly and add the expansion content. I think people who say it's too easy is because they might be missing some rules, but I don't blame them due to the rulebook.
Great gameplay :) I believe that you made a misteke when placing an enemy army on a battlefield (1:09:32) - Troglodytes have 5 Initiative, and Minotaurs have 6 Initiative, so they should be placed in opposite order.
This game looks cool. But, I passed. Just seemed like it was going to be too big for me to handle and get to the table often enough. Already have quite a few like that.
Just tried full game with friends, including skirmish battlefield. Took around 5-6 hours for 3 players. 9,5 stars from 10. Also if you want to play skirmish battle only with full armies ready-up (say hi to HOMM5) the rules are not really describe it on 100%. We were need to make some home-brew rules. Can you give it a try and make the video about battlefield expansion with full pvp fight?
That sounds epic! I don't plan to try the battlefield expansion since it doesn't officially work solo. There's a fan made solo rules for it but I'm gonna wait a bit for it to improve before I try it
a very important question about the card managment. Where did you get this stands for card decks? we are struggeling to find place on the table when we play with 4.
1:47:58 I don't see it in the rules, that the AI deck is reshuffled once all cards have been used in a single battle. Are you sure you have to do this? Helps the enemy a lot...
I've gotten conflicting messages about it. The official rulebook makes no mention of it. When I checked on discord, I remember reading you're supposed to reshuffle. But I just downloaded the latest version of the Rulebook Rewrite project (1.1), and finally it does address it, Page 35 : If AI deck is depleted during combat, stop drawing from it. I much prefer this, as it otherwise it would give an unfair advantage to the AI in my opinion, and doesn't mean defeat if you don't finish the enemy in the first two rounds.
@@koenwijnants6499 oh ok yes the enemy unit abilities still apply when playing solo. If I didn't at some point it was a mistake. If you have a timestamp let me know.
Mine finally arrived this week. Waiting for some free time to finally play it!
Watching your playthrough really helps to understand the rules.
Happy to help! Enjoy the game!

That's correct! Good catch!
@@Azure_Death Why did you draw 1 card at the beginning of this combat? From 5 cards to 6 cards? (First npc hero)

Thanks a lot for the videos! They help a lot in learning the rules ;)

Do you not use the abilities on the unit cards...
Only against hero battles, not neutrals. Is that what you meant?
@@Azure_Death yes. I think you always have to use them... the abllity of the unit card. Not the ability on the ai card
@@koenwijnants6499 Yeah at first I also thought so, but no the AI deck and spells are only used when battling heroes, not neutrals!
The ability on the unit card. I meant. Not on the ai card. Sorry
