    As much as I love this game, the amount of skills and rules to keep track of is absolutely enormous. Couple this with the timing for all this stuff to happen and you have a recipe for major game-changing events to occur. It can make all the difference between a win or a loss, and I highly doubt there's one youtuber on here who played a game of TMB absolutely flawlessly. It is definitely impossible to do. From every video I've seen so far, every person messed up at least 1 thing. I think this seriously hurts the game, honestly, but the fun factor is there to keep it in my collection.

    *Rules error - In the tyrant battle Rol only considers Rok and gearloks opponents, not other baddies, so she would have been attacking me for most of the battle*

    This game definitely has my interest. Chip Theory Games always has great looking games. I enjoy the mechanics of this one. I would love to see you do a campaign playthrough of this one.

      @@OneStopCoopShop Ask Colin to do the campaign. He often does multiple episode campaigns (Xia, LOTR LCD, Mage Knight, etc..). I very rarely saw any multiple episode campaign playthroughs from Mike. I don't know One-stop structure, they never explained it, but I guess from what i've seen is that Mike often does KS previews/reviews with sent copies and also reviews (5 in 5). VS Colin, Jason and Bairnt play what they want for the fun of it, even older games and campaigns.
      So I guess the perception I have is that Mike works here VS the others just seem to chill and have a blast with their games in their collection ! 😂

      @@micpom haha, you have it basically 100% right. Colin left the channel for a while, and came back only because I said it was fine for him to play whatever he wants whenever he wants. I'm the main one "in charge" of consistently covering new games and doing most of the reviews. But we both like the arrangement, so it's all good.

    Just the excitement you had at the ore encounter is a representation of how good this game is and how much you (and me) like it 😀
    I believe you did the same mistake like me in the tyrant battle... forgot shaky ground (when you take damage, it becomes lava 😞 ) makes it more interesting with reach that a lot of trolls have 😀

      I messed up some other stuff in the final battle too. Not sure I’ve ever played a game of TMB without a few mistakes. But it’s always fun!

    Looks like you initially ignored that Chrono Trigger is in a locked slot. So in the third day when figment rolled 5, you can keep that into the next battle.

      Oh, did it not trigger its ultimate ability in that battle? It gets exhausted in round 5 (doing its extra damage), but crud, if that never got a chance to trigger you are right! That's wildly powerful and awesome :)

    Rol specifically only considers Rok an opponent, not the other baddies. She wouldn't attack the other trolls once Rok was dead. (They still attack her.) I *think* she still considers gearlocs opponents as usual. So, yeah, finishing Rok early doesn't seem like a good play to me.

    Please excuse me, but afaik you can place baddies only in the top 2 rows and their initiative dice and disk determine the lane they are supposed to go to. Also you cant split your skills and attacks between baddies.

      Do you have time stamps for where you saw errors on these points? Tough for me to respond otherwise.
      For the splitting skills and attacks, it all depends on the ability being used. Most will designate “target” and that means they must all be on the same person, but there are also many skills that do not specify that they have to be on your target, in which case they can be used on other units.

      I was thinking about 37:03 but ah, i forgot the armcannons ability, never mind ^^.
      But in the first encounter (starts at 9:13 )you set up the baddies in a way i dont understand, Imho the colour of the initiative dice determines the lane and the disc colour. Also you set up melee baddies in the back and then the range attack bat, with green disc, into the melee lane of the gearlocs. If you look at the right side of the battle map, you can see by the symbols where the gearlocs and baddies are supposed to go.

      @FurchtbaresGaming ohhh, check the encounter card details (shown around 8:30). This one specified that you can put units wherever you want.

    Hnmm... for some mysterious reason, from the end of day 5 and until the end of the game, Figment's phase ghost die disappeared from your playmat... I guess it phased itself in the heavy editing ? 😄

      He was off having amazing adventures in phase-land. He rescued a phase-princess, battled a phase-koopa king. Epic stuff, but the video was already getting pretty long so I couldn't show it all. Sorry!
