Hi Julia, great review, you covered some questions i had, like the blankets/sheets/duvets capability. Don't know why but i prefer this older model to the newer one, think it is prettier, i guess. Anyway, thinking on adding this to my yacht as space at sea is something you have to account for. Many thanks.

Hi Julia. I'm glad you're still happy with the washer. I wish they would make it in a larger size. I need one big enough to do my full size bedding. Do you have any idea why the controls are on the top of your dryer but on the website and other people's reviews they are on the bottom? I would love to get one like yours with the controls on the top. Thanks for the review:)
The old version of that dryer had controls on the bottom - the new one (the one I have) has controls on the top :)

I have the Giantex portable washing machine, I ordered the brass coupling and adapter, the adapter did fit my faucet, but the brass coupling piece didn't.
So......i had to order a different coupling, then I had to switch hose ends. The hose end that supposed to go on my washer is hooked up to the faucet , and the other end is hooked up to the washer. It isn't supposed to be that way, but it works. But , I don't have to go to the laundry matt anymore.
It took me a while to find the right adapter - I wish they would provide it with a washer :) But now I’m so glad I have this washer and took the time to find the right adapter - it was well worth it
@@JuliaCaban I was watching how you put your hose coupling snapped it on your adapter, you have the same kind of coupling I did, except, the piece I had, the threading was wrong, it wasn't a garden hose standard threading.
I had to order a different coupling.
And when my washing machine is running, it sounds like a dog growling.

Im looking into purchasing this machine but i saw a few people had a concern about the machine getting unbalanced. Had you had any problems with it or would you happen to know if that’s an easy fix in case it happens. Also I live upstairs so wondering if it would shake and make lots of noise? Thanks you!
I haven’t notified this problem with my washer. But I’m pretty sure it should be covered under warranty :)
I ordered the magic chef 1.6 model yesterday from Home Depot for $219 on sale, has great reviews and I can’t wait to try it out. Hate using washers in my condo complex, the stench and musky smell makes me wanna vomit. Great review r absolutely gorgeous😀✌🏼

Julia Caban ...unfortunately I received it with 3 large dents and returned, looking at many reviews I’m getting the Panda 1.6 which is 20lbs lighter and with only one water connector on top of the machine which allows you to push back against the wall. Good luck!
Would you still recommend this if you had to hand fill it? I live in a dorm and theres community bathrooms so I can't just hook it up to the faucet. But would that mean that I have to fill it up with water multiple times for the wash and rinse?
It’s gonna be hard - since you also need to refill the washer at least once for the rinse cycle

I just got mine and started doing laundry today! One question though is that do you have to go back and turn on your water to refill for the rinse cycle, or can you leave the water on the whole time?

You can leave the water on - just make sure that your hose is not leaking.
My washer is not super loud during the spin cycle - but it is louder than when it’s in the wash cycle.

Acquire a power inverter (high watt output)

Have you been able used this washer with hot water, which apparently the manufacturer advises against, without any negative issues? Can this handle a queen size blanket - either cotton or wool? Thanks
I washed queen sized blankets but comforter wouldn’t fit. I used hot water a few times - and everything was fine but I watched it carefully ;) it probably can wear off the washer if you use hot water regularly. I didn’t want to risk it haha

Could you say a little about installation? I've watched about 14 of installation and reviews for this machine and no one mentions the bottom tray (which is step two of install). Is everyone skipping this stage? Is it not necessary? Thanks!

Just received mine on Wednesday, I love it. I'm using it right now. Just one question, the directions state you can add rinses but I can't figure it out. Any suggestions?
There’s a button next to the screen if you press on it (rinse button) it will change the rinse amount - you can select the amount of times it will rinse the laundry.

You can wash in it pretty much everything you can wash in a regular washer. It works as good!

Does the dolly smell bad or does it damage your floor
it doesn't smell and it doesn't damage my floors - I've been using it for over a year - still love it!
10-15% of reviews for this style of washer (portable but not twin tub) say it poured water allover their floor, not always on the first use sometimes within first year of uses. Can anyone give anecdotes on that happening? In my situation, I cannot afford to have whatever I purchase ruin my floors, especially considering most of these are made by junk companies who are not going to refund and definitely not cover repairs. (the model in this video is not made by Black and Decker, they do not recognize it as theirs or warranty it) I wonder if whatever causes the flooding is preventable, or fixable, can anyone give more comments about it?

True... it's not made by Black and Decker. It's not on their website and if you contact b&d about the washer,
They will tell you that it's not one of their products.
